Glucosulin

Summary

Glucosulin is a diet pill being advertised on television that claims to help you lose weight and achieve healthy blood sugar metabolism.

Description

You may have seem the Glucosulin ads that are running on TV. The ad offers a free 30 day trial. An 800 number is given on the advertisement.

Glucosulin as its name implies ("gluco" as in glucose [another name for sugar] and "sulin" as in insulin the hormone your body produces which regulates sugar levels in your blood) is focused on helping you maintain a health blood sugar level. And, thus with health blood sugar, you will also lose weight as well.

Glucosulin contains Konjac Root (Glucomannon), Mulberry Extract, Xanthum Gum, Gymnema Slyvestre, Sodium Alginate, and Chromium Picolinate.

Glucomannon is the ingredient most associated with maintaining proper blood sugar levels. Mulberry Extract slows absorption of carbs. Gymnema Slyvestre should actually lower blood sugar. Chromium Picolinate helps keep appetite under control.

I am a type 1 diabetic. I take insulin twice a day. sometimes 3 times a day. I am over weight (205 pounds).. I am 73 years old and my blood sugar is never below 250 (maybe it is twice a month)... I take additional medication for high blood pressure and circulation
Should I contact my doctor? Is this an over the counter diet pill?

Thank you

This product is a scam. It did nothing for me regarding my weight loss or my sugar levels. I was told that the pills were 29.99 and now they are charging me 99.00. I can't afford this price. They should not lie to the unsuspecting customers. I think these should be taken off the market. It is all a big fraud.
