Day 2 on the pills and funny enough, my appetite has already gone down! WOW! unless it's all in my head. I'm just not hungry at all, I had a tiny granola bar just to get rid of the queezy feeling I get from taking the pills and was planning on eating a real breakfast but now I'm not even hungry, which is unusual. hummm I like it already! |

I experienced the same loss of appetite after starting daily use of Leptitrex.
Since I do intensive daily weight training I try to eat a lot of high protein foods each day, but I have to actually remind myself to eat. I no longer have the urge to eat and the hunger pains are gone.
I think taking Leptitrex would be excellent for someone that believed in 'fasting' (which I myself wouldn't recommend). |

Oh yeah, I agree. I was thinking of getting Protein Bars just to snack on throughout the day just to keep something in me, because I do sometimes forget to eat if I don't get hungry. - as for the drinking a lot of water. I don't think that I have to remind myself to drink a lot of water either. I am always feeling thirsty. I usually drink a lot of water anyways, but these pills remind me to drink it! :) and the every 15 minute potty breaks... :) - so far I like this stuff, despite the queezy feeling after taking them. |

I 'bend' their recommendations slightly, as I don't like taking vitamins or any other supplements on an empty stomach. This is expecially true with Leptitrex after reading all the contents in each pill.
Not sure if I would do it with high carb foods, but I drink a full glass of water and eat a couple slices of high protein type food (cheese, chicken, turkey) or maybe a little tuna about 5 minutes before taking each 'dose', and make myself eat more about a half hour later.
The fat burner Ecdysterone needs protein to work anyway, and by having a little food in my stomach when taking the pills I haven't experienced any of the 'stomach burning/warmth' that many have mentioned.
But then again, what is best for one might not be best for others. |

Sorry to read that you are having headaches Anon...all pills react differently for each individual and it is a shame that this is happening to you. Do you take any other medications which might be causing a counter-effect? I recall reading about one of the other diet pills I was looking at, that over the counter allergy medicines can have adverse effects..... |

AZ,
Sounds great, and it appears that you are getting good results in the few days since you began taking Leptitrex.
But you should realize that the actual "weight loss" experienced is only one indication of how well the pill is working. You mentioned going to the gym, so I assume you are involved in some type of exercise program, which is good as exercise will assist in both burning excessive body fat as well as increasing lean muscle growth.
In the long run the amount and speed of actual 'weight loss' will depend on many factor, including eating a proper diet, a good exercise program, and your current BMI.
The pills will assist in both burning fat as well as building lean muscle mass, and if a person has a lower Body Mass Index their fat loss might not be as rapid as someone with a higher BMI, and the fat loss might actually be offset by muscle growth. This might be disappointing to someone that only judges success by rapid 'weight loss'.
During the past week or so my weight hasn't changed one bit, but my muscles are becoming more defined and my BMI continues to fall. Since I began using Leptitrex I've "only" lost 8 pounds, but my BMI has dropped from 14% to 10%, which is a major improvement, even if it isn't reflected on the scales. I do eat healthy foods in moderation, am involved in daily weight training, but my exercise routine and diet haven't changed since I started taking Leptitrex.
Anyway it sounds like things are working for you, and hopefully you will continue to see improvements each week.

Thanks. Anony.... Yes, I workout about 3 -4 times a week (cardio & weights) and I eat pretty healthy ( I think anyways :) ) but the weight just wouldn't come off of me! Very frustrating. I am not only looking at weight loss as you mentioned, you are judging your muscle defination; I am also looking at that becasue we all know that muscle weights more then fat! I'd be more then happy if I was still the same weight but muscle!! that would be awesome! - I'm just very happy that these seem to be doing the job here, I'll step on the scale again this Sunday morning at the gym to see where I stand. - I'll also keep an eye on my body to check for Muscle defination, more / less / same.... OH ALSO - at my gym they do a free body exam / BMI and all of that every 5 weeks, and by the time I finish my bottle I will be due for my exam, sooo we'll see how much actual FAT I've lost and I'll post that exciting news as well!!!
I love reading about everyone's sucess and expierances with these pills, soo please keep posting them. |

AZ...regarding your hunger...I would say that since April, I may have had a total of 6 or 7 days tops where I felt hungry even though I was taking the pills...it only happened for single days and I was back to my usual program the next day....One thing I am doing now is taking such days in stride and not worry about it...even when I felt that I over ate on a given day, the end result was that I was still losing weight...that is why, as I stated in my initial post, that I will not weigh myself and become a slave to a scale...as long as my clothes continue to gradually become looser, then I am fine with how I am doing, even if I have a day where I eat more than I want to.... |

...le me give a recent example of how the pills affected my desire to eat which outweighs (no pun intended) the occassional overeating moment....last week, I took my morning pills and had a decent sized breakfast...I was planning to spend the day at the shore, on the boardwalk, and I brought along my afternoon pills because I was going to enjoy some seafood..well I walked the boardwalk for close to an hour and could not find a decent seafood joint to save my life...everything was pizza, burgers and what seafood was there, it was fried...since I had alot more boardwalk to cover, I bought a bottle of water and took my pills, thinking that I would certainly find a decent place to eat....well, an hour of more walking still netted me no seafood...I was surprised that with all the walking I did, I was not hungry after an hour had passed since I took the pills and my breakfast was consume a good seven hours ago! So, after walking around for well over 2 hours, I decided to leave... ...now what is important to understand is that this is not me....had I been on a lo-carb diet, I know I would have eaten. In fact, there was a Kansas City BBQ place on the boardwalk that looked enticing, but I shrugged it off and continued on. The old me would have certainly gone inside. I also would have very easily come up with the excuse, that "hey, I'm here so I might as well enjoy myself, diet be damned!" attitude and ate everything in sight. But, I had no desire to even do that. Knowing my past history of straying off my diet, even when I am doing well on it, the fact that I stuck to my convictions and turned away from all of the choices on the boardwalk, was definately not my usual M.O. I have to say that the pills helped me on that day, that fact, I am most certain of, so as I see a gradual change in my habits, I forgive myself if I eat a bit more on another day.....I hope this helps |

Well, that was really good to know GusMahler. I started to get nervous, that my appitite would go down for a couple days then I would be hungry hungry hungry and want to eat everything in site to make up for those couple days of not eating all so much. - ALSO - I went to the gym last night and did a bootcamp, and I know I wasn't going to step on that scale again, but I was curious that if that couple pounds the scale said I lost was a fluke and it I was back up to 150, but to my surprise... I was down even more.. I even stepped on the scale like 4 times or more... I adjusted it, made sure it was on ZERO, and stepped on it again.. nope, it was repeatedly saying that I lost 5 pounds... WOW - it hasn't even been 1 week yet! - I've been working out harder while at the gym as well, I started taking my dog out for extra morning jogs as well... that could be helping out with it all as well... I do feel like my belly chub is going down some, nothing more yet. I was going to take measurments but I can never remember the EXACT place that I took the last measurement so it's never right... lol - sooo I have these low rise pair of jeans that I am measuring by. they are non-stretch and low enough that I can watch the belly over-flow go down. I figured that would be the best way to keep track! - If I can get back into those jeans and a short top and look sexy again!!! crap!! This is definatly the Pill for me!!! - lol - ALSO - My husband and I got his dad on these pills. Today is his 3rd day on them. I don't know how he is doing today but I know yesterday he said that he couldn't feel any difference, no change in appitite, energy, anything... Hope he can feel a dfference today. DENI,
At the very least I'd sure recommend some type of protein rich food when, or within a half hour of taking Leptitrex.
Depending on your diet this could be a little cheese, tuna, chicken, turkey, red meat, peanuts/peanut butter, etc...
Although it isn't mentioned anywhere on the bottle, one of the main "fat burning' supplements in Leptitrex (Ecdysterone) requires protein to work properly.
Many times I'm not hungry when I take my morning or afternoon dose of Leptitrex, but I will still make sure that I eat at least a little high protein food.
Once again this is just my opinion.. |

Hey everyone, Started my bottle of Leptitrex 3 days ago and I've already lost 5 pounds! As with a few people here, I've tried virtually EVERYTHING: From Slimfast and Herbal Magic to other not-so-healthy dieting practices. The upside of this pill, I have an abundance of energy (I work out 5 days a week for 1hr 30mins) and my appetite has been curbed like you wouldn't believe. The down side, I do get killer heartburn about 10mins after tking the pill and I do find muself to be a bit jittery for about an hour or so after each dose. Overall, I'm pretty excited and motivated to keep on truckin'! I think with excercise (a bit more than "moderate") and a high protien diet with a lot of water, fresh fruits and vegetables, success with Leptitrex is definately achievable :) Good luck to everyone out there and I'll keep you all posted. Take care. |

Deni - yeah I Bet someone is grabbing those pills in Customs.. I know it gets done from here-say but - who really knows.. - ALSO - Jaezee - if you follow the advise of Anony... they said to eat a couple small pieces of cheese a couple minutes before taking the pill, it REALLY settles the stomach. Ever since that was suggested I have been doing it and no longer have the queezyness - and I'm sure that the jitters are also a part of that whole reaction thing.... I didn't have that issue, but eating some cheese wouldn't hurt - Give it a try and let us know if it works for you as well.

Thanks for all the tips here, I am going to put them to good use and hopefully we'll be successful.. Hi CJ,
Just wanted to say 'hello', and I hope you and your hubby enjoy excellent results while taking Leptitrex.
If you exercise, eat a healthy diet, watch the carbs and total daily calorie intake you should do fine.
Leptitrex is an excellent supplement that will really help a person obtain their end goal, but we all know there is no such thing as a "magic pill" that can make up for continued bad eating habits, lack of exercise, etc.
My opinion is that dropping weight is much like gaining weight. Both take time and neither happen overnight.
But Leptitrex appears to have the 'right stuff' to put your system into overdrive to accelerate the process of reaching your desired goal.
Good Luck, and keep us posted on your results. |

I believe the possibility of experiencing minor side effects from initial Detox (especially when supplement assisted) will vary from person to person.
Detox is nothing more than eliminating toxins and contaminates from your body, and the amount of toxins and contaminates in a persons body can vary greatly, depending on prior diet and other considerations.
Guess all I am saying is that one person might experience side effects like headaches and major fluid loss during the first couple of days, while someone else might not experience or notice anything out of the ordinary. |

Jaezee, I'm glad you mentioned how Leptitrex can decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills. I began taking Leptitrex almost a week ago. When I pulled it out of the shipping package I immediately read the ingredients and saw St.Johns wort on this list, which decreases the effectiveness of birth control by about 50%. I searched all over the internet and couldn't find any info about Leptitrex and birth control. I still wanted to give Leptitrex a shot, so I went to the pharmacy to seek an alternate method of birth control just in case. Good thing I read the ingredients, because I started spotting yesterday.
AZ, I read this on the NuvaRing website, "Pregnancies and breakthrough bleeding have been reported by users of combined hormonal birth control who also used the herbal supplement St. John’s Wort. You may need to use a nonhormonal method of contraception during any cycle in which you take drugs that can make oral birth control less effective."
I love all the feedback and support on this message board. I will try to check back everyday. It has been 6 days and I have only lost 2 pounds so far, but I feel great. K2O protein water has helped me get additional protein without having to eat high calorie protein bars. |

Just wanted to say hi and give everyone an update on our first day.... we both took 2 pills twice yesterday (instead of 3).. I could "feel" them working, gave me a little energy (considering I'd managed to sleep about 4 hours the night before :) ) I was thirsty all day, and hungry :( but at the same time I didn't really want to eat, so I ate small portions. DH got home from work and said he didn't really feel anything... I did notice when I went for my run.. and through the rest of the day.. that my heart would speed up easily.. and also I was hot/cold all day.. I'd get hot, then cool down and freeze for a bit then get hot again.. who knows what's up with that. Today I took 2 pills this morning again.. DH said he was gonna take 3... I did loose 2 pounds between yesterday and today.. sure it's mostly water weight, but I'm happy with it since over the past week that darn scale has really jumped up all of a sudden, so this was good to see it go back down to "normal". I'll be happy if I can be down to 160 by the end of the month (5 lbs) we shall see :)... today I'm hungry again... so far today I've had 1/2 slice of swiss cheese w/ my pills; low-fat yougart w/ Kashi granola; a South Beach Diet cereal bar and I just ate a few raw veggies... seems like a lot of food for 10:30 in the morning?? I did the eliptical for 30 mins and then did aerobics/kickboxing for 30..what do you guys think??? |

desperate, I've mentioned this before but I'll discuss it again: About heart issues: these pills contain stimulants. It's common sense that if you have any heart issues, you should not take any stimulants. Any doctor will tell you that. However, for an average healthy person, a slight increase in heart rate will not do any harm and is in fact good for you. These pills aren't poisonous and are no more dangerous than coffee would be. If you need to avoid caffeine, avoid Leptitrex. About the Ephedra incidents: All of the people who experienced serious side-effects from ephedra already had heart and health problems. If you're dumb enough to take these types of products when you have a sensitive heart, then you shouldn't be suprised when you get sick. Ephedra in mild doses is actually very GOOD for you, especially for those who have sinus/breathing issues. But I suppose it doesn't matter, since the US has banned the stuff. It took a long time before I could find a comparable product to ease my allergies... nothing worked like ephedra! |

I have been taking 3 pills with cheese in the morning, drinking tons of water, eating 2 small pieces of cheese before I take my lunch dose at 11:30am, eat a turkey samwich at noon on wheat bread, then go back to drinking tons of water, I do find myself getting a lil hungry about 3 or so, so I have a 100 calorie snack pack and that is good, till my small chicken dinner. - I lost 5 pounds in 1 week doing this..... as for working out. I speed walk/jog with my dog every morning for about 20 minutes, then circuit training for about 45 minutes, then 20 minutes of cardio - try to do that every day..... things seem to be working well. - Sometimes I end up going on another 20 minute walk with the dog after this work out as well, depends on if the Hubby is feeling up to walking the dog or not.... soo I definatly get my work out in - I do have to say that I feel really good taking these pills. Energy is good, not over exsessive but just right, when I work out I feel like I can go further and faster - even though I'm tiredddd :) - Well I just thought I'd share that as well. |

Disappointed - I remember the website saying that if you didn't follow the High Protein Diet/ drink LOTS of water, exercise daily, you arne't going to lose any weight or very little. it's not a magic pill. Just a pill to help you along. - Follow everything and you should lose it with no problems. Don't over eat. Don't eat high calorie meals, eat small meals with the protein. - I know people personally who get pills that people are raving about becasue they follow the plan and they don't do anything except sit on their couch and eat Bon Bons and expect the weight to come off.... NOT SAYING THIS IS YOU Disappointed. Just sayin in general. - Try going to the gym and get a personal Trainer - They will Kick your BUTT into weight loss... I used to train.. I know.. LOL |

GOT MY PILLS! GOT MY PILLS! 1 MONTH LATER I GOT MY PILLS!!!! took my first dose - experienced the burning BUT I GOT MY PILLS!!!! I think i will weigh myself end of week. I brought two pairs of trousers that are really tight, can just about do them up but can't wear them. I didn't return them because they were nice and thought i will lose weight and wear them. They are not the size i want to be but the next size down. I have already lost 42 pounds on a low fat diet but it just stopped for over a year now and i need to lose another 42 pounds. So i am hoping this will kick start the weight loss for me. I already follow a pretty healthy diet from losing the initial 42 pounds. wish me luck. this forum is so encouraging and i hope i am one of the ones who actually lose and not the a dissapointed one! so excited - i have been reading this forum for one month waiting for mine to arrive and i just about gave up - atleast i know to order a month in advance now! |

Deni, YAY!!!! glad to hear that you finally got them!! Hope you see some great results. I went out of town for the weekend and ate fairly well considering I had to eat what everyone else was eating (lost of seafood) but I still managed to eat healthy-ish :) Came home and I believe my scale is broken.. says I lost about 12 pounds!!! LOL.. I KNOW that's not possible over 2 days, so I'm off to buy a scale today.. but I have lost 1/2 an inch from everywhere (hips, waist, thighs, arms) since last Thursday.. so I can't complain :) :) :) Has anyone ever used Protein shots with these pills? I worry about getting enough protein in my diet, my cousin reccommended these protein shots he gets from GNC that have either 25 or 45 grams of protein and about 130 calories 0sugar in each... thinking about making a trip there today when I do my grocery shopping and picking up a few to see how they work. |

You know, one thing that troubles me about this company is the fact that they have been stating they will be "sold out in 24 to 72 hours"...problem is, they have been stating that for months and suggest that once they are sold out, you'll need to go to ebay or a comparable site to buy it..what, they are not planning to produce anymore? Is this some "limited edition" pill?...though Leptitrex is working fine for me, it does bother me to see such lo-brow pressure tactics displayed on their website... |

Deni-- no, we haven't gotten new scales, although the old ones appear to be working.. so I've lost about a pound.. which takes me to 4 pounds lost since last Thursday, so I can't complain too much.. of course, these are the SAME #'s I've been seeing since May, I really want to get rid of them and get below 160 LOL.. it was fun yesterday seeing #'s like 150 and 147 :).... How did your first day go??
Gus-- I will agree with you... I hate that line, I hate those "buy it now" tactics..we almost didn't buy from them because of that sales line
How's everyone else doing?? This board has gotten quiet lately |

Hi CJ - my first day went ok - abit of burning but it was ok - i felt like something was happening - wasnt that strict - had an ice cream in the evening! but my meals are healthy. will it still work you think if i still have the occasional treat? i dont eat fried stuff anymore - havent done for about 2 years - ofcourse i do occasionaly have chips but that's like once every few months or so. my other query is - if you take the pill and eat before the 30 min - does it still work? i dont always know when i am going to eat and then if i wait for 30min the food gets cold.
it's true gone really quiet. what's happening, are you guys still on the pills? |

Hello, Gald you finally got your pills Deni! - I am very excited, although I don't have an actual scale in the house so I was using the one at the gym that was a little hard to tell what you actual weigh because of all the little lines, and standing up and trying to see exactly where you stand, you sometimes just can't tell... sooo my excitement comes from..... We just got the Wii Fit yesterday.. OMG! if any of you already have the Wii, for family fum or "for the kids" - get this Wii Fit. You wouldn't think that it's really going to do anything but WOW! My husband and I were doing it yesterday for over an hour... it's exhausting. Not only that, it is a lot of fun. it tells you what you currently weigh. in EXACT numbers, and your BMI - so you can also keep track. it's GREAT! - so, my numbers yesterday were 147 - BUT - it's also... very close to that TIME! - soo I usually retain about 3-5 pounds of water... ALSO - we went to the Jacuzzi last night and when I put on my suit I can tell that I wasn't bulging out of it so much, or as much as I was before... So, We will see... I'll weigh myself in another week or so, once my body is back to normal and we will see where I stand.!!! Good Luck Everyone... :) |

Thanks for the tips on protein eating before taking the pills..however I've not lost anything...still...I don't think these are for me. The company says that you should even experience better skin...HA! My skin has actually gotten worse..breakouts every day. My skin has never been so bad. My husband and I eat very well. We kicked the sugar habit 3 months ago. I hope they refund me at the end of this bottle! |

disappointed - how long have you been on them? sometimes when the body is detoxing first the skin gets rid of all teh bad stuff, hence the spots then it clears.
well i'v e only been on them for 2 days and i was so excited reading all the reviews however, even though i wasnt going to weigh myself before the end of the week, i was curious as people had reported loss in two days - well i gained 2 pounds!!!! i'm so upset. why would i have gained? like disappointed i already eat healthily because of another diet i was on - yea, on the first day i had a small ice cream and yesterday i had 1/2 a muffin but then i only a snack for dinner (watermelon on the first day and prawn salad yesterday 2nd) why have i gained??? i am eating fish and salad for my lunch and poached edd with tomatoes, onions m a brown toast for breakfast - all low fat high protein. Am walking atleast 30-45mins. my measurements are the same too - so i cant say it's turned to muscle especially not in 2 days.... anyone???? |
CJ
| posted 20-Aug-2008 6:56am
Dissapointed- did you do measurements when you started to see if you've lost inches? I've lost about 3-4 pounds this week on the pills (mostly water weight, i'm sure) but I've also lost about 1/2 inch from my thighs, hips, waist and arms by not changing much besides the pills and the times that I eat (now i'm eating less at each meal and eating more often). I agree with Deni about the detox making your skin worse.. last week I had worse skin then I've ever had (and I usually have a breakout or 2---or 3 every day) but after the first few days my skin got much better and now I actually have no breakouts at all which is fantastic!! I say give it till the end of the first bottle and wait it out till then (how much longer do you have?) This doesn't work for everyone... my Hubby has been taking them the same amount of time and they don't seem to be doing a thing for him.. although he's not listening to me and eating protein, so that might be why.
Denni-- Keep with it...this is why it's not a good idea for a lot of people to weigh themselves every day, some people fluxuate a LOT.. I have weighted myself almost every day for several years, it keeps me on track, but I've also learned the best time of day to weigh myself :) and i don't let it bug me when I see it go up one day cause I could loose all that and then some the next day... I only let it bug me when I see the weight go up and stay up several days in a row. Have you been drinking a lot of water? I know that has helped a LOT with the detox and getting the first few pounds off... really helps flush out your system. |

hello i have been drinking water - not alot - but around 1 litre a day plus a couple of mugs of herbal tea and one mug of coffee. I will keep with it and not weigh myself again until the end of the week. surely i couldnt of put on fat in two days. YOU know how hard it is to lose it so when it goes up it hurts!!! whenever i do try a new a diet (apart from the low fat one i did where i lost 42 ilbs) everyone loses and i gain!!! it doesnt matter how much i stick to the rules, it's like my body is fighting me...i wrote to leptitrex to see if they could help. |

I totally agree with the weight thing... I know that I myself fluxuate a lot. As Women that is what our bodies do. I know especially for me, when it's HOT, like it is here in Arizona, I hold water, when it's colder I am lighter becasue I'm not holding water. After I have done any exercise, walking, working in the house, on the yard, anything makes me hold MORE water, I can tell in my Rings! :) they get tighter and tighter... :) I think it's our bodies! they don't like us sometimes.... heheee
ALSO - in regards to that Break out issue... I don't have breakouts, my husband does though... and all of the sudden I started getting breakouts! I thought the same thing..."I thought this stuff was suposed to help me, not make me worse!" but they have since gone away and I am back to being clear! sooo not to worry!
Deni, try drinking more water. I go through at least 1 gallon a day! - but then again, I have always been a water drinker, so I can do it more easily then others.
One other thing that I have noticed, and it can be just my imagination, but on the days that I don't time my eating 30 minutes after taking the pills, those are the days that I am more hungry then others. - Like yesterday, I didn't time my pill taking and eating and I was hungry all day, a couple days ago I did the same thing, and I was hungry all day! - I wonder if they are related or just in my head..hehee :)
Anyways, Stay away from that Scale and just use clothes to tell if you have lost any... I didn't tell a difference in my bathing suit till just the other day... 1 day from 2 weeks on the pills... soo give it time! As they say.... you didn't gain the weight overnight, it's not going to be gone overnight either....
Good luck and keep the comments coming.. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one with the breakouts!!! |

Deni, OH, also, if you have any weights, try doing that. Trainers say that if you have a choice in doing something because you only have a Certain amount of time on certain days... Weight train. the muscle burns the fat for you and does more good then walking for 30 - 45 minutes. alternate, just try to put weight training in there... it really does help.
Just a thought for all of you I guess, except anony... who already is in great shape and we need her advise in working out more then mine! lol |

I talked to my Husband about it (since he deals with Customs) he said that with something like this, they will always give a hassle with because it's not FDA approved and they don't know what EVERYTHING in it is, soo it's always going to be like that unless it's stated Exactly how much of what is in the bottle/pills.... - but hopefully next shipment will be much smoother! :) |

CP - Drink Plenty of water, Exercise, weight train, eat small portions. Be careful not to eat as much as you were in the past, healthy meals.
I know sometimes still, I find myself overeating, I'm not hungry anymore but I'll continue to eat just because either (A) the food is there, still on my plate or (B) I'll be thinking about something else, talking, watching TV, whatever the case may be, and it's just like a trance. you don't know why but you just keep eating. - I still really have to watch myself and what I eat and when and why? I always try to think about that now! I serve myself smaller portions to keep from overeating.

Anon - yours is a small amount so it will take longer but good luck.
Az, i dont think i will end up buying weights - i know myself , got to be realistic here! the 42lbs i lost prior to this (which is still off) was a low fat diet and walking. Update...Hi all! I am about two weeks away from finishing my third bottle of Leptitrex. I have lost 23 pounds and several inches off my waist, abdomen, hips, thighs and arms. I am back in a size 8 jeans and a medium shirt. I still have about 20 pounds to go so I'll be ordering another shipment.
My eating habits have changed drastically. I have finally kicked my carb addiction and now choose more high protein foods and veggies. I don't tend to snack during the day, but if I do it is a very little amount. I have successfully shrunk my stomach by eating normal portion sizes so I don't need a lot of food to fill me up.
I have been losing approximately one pound per week. This is not as fast as I had hoped to lose the weight but I'm learning a new lifestyle and new way of eating and losing it slowly is much healthier and more likely to keep it off. Before I had always concentrated on eating as few calories as possible to try and lose weight. This did not work because I was always hungry so would end up binging at the end of the day. Now I eat about 1200 calories of high protein and veggies and I'm rarely hungry. I'm going to order two more bottles of Leptitrex. I think after two more months my new eating habits will be set and I'll be good to continue to lose weight on my own. |

Hi guys this is what lepitrex said about my weight gain in 2 days; if you note it also says that some people need 3-4 weeks - so disappointed maybe give it one more week?? u neva know....
"Most people see results in the first 2 weeks, for some it takes 3-4. The results of our pills are different for different body types. We have found that when taken properly this product works for 95% of our customers. Your body might might just be having a reaction and adjustment to the Leptitrex. Give it some more time. And remember, if it doesn't work, there is a money back guarantee."

mEL - well done . how encouraging. losinga 1lb a week is bound to stay off . slow as it may seem it came off. plus if you get a 1lb of sugar you then notice how much a 1lb is. YOu don't think the weight will come back once you stop the pills? obviously if you keep up the healthy eating it shouldnt - but the fat that turned to muscle - it won't go back again will it??? |

Mel-- No, I was not on any form of BC...DH and I have been married for 6 years and have never used any form of BC.. the past 2 years we had started going to a fertility Dr and found that I have endometriosis and we would likely never get pregnant.. so I had convinced myself that I didn't want kids anyway and we were happier on our own... SURPRISE :) I hadn't even thought about it.. was getting ready to post on the boards yesterday that all day (yesterday morning) I was feeling light headed and queezy.. then started thinking about when I was "due" and realized it was 10 days late.. figured "Nah.. not pg, just running late this month" bought a test showed positive in like 2 seconds... took another test.. positive :) I think DH is more stunned then anything.. I still keep thinking it's a dream... but hey... I dropped another 2 pounds yesterday LOL... On a more related note... DH has decided he's going to give Leptitrex another week or so to see if they start working... I told him he needs to give them a month and he needs to start eating protein with them... but he's hard headed and not really seeing much results. we might be returning our pills and getting a refund (we ordered 4 bottles!) we'll just have to wait and see |

CJ- that is GREAT news... you know they say that when you are trying to get prego then you don't, but when you arne't thinking about it you will, but on the other hand, with your other conditions, it's different.... I think it's FAB that you are going to have a baby! lil money suckers, hehehe, but they are great, and always there to put a Smile on your face when you are sad, or depressed, especially when they hit about 1 or 2, they are soo funny!! nevertheless, I wish you great luck! as for the DH - men are soo hard headed.. lol - mine is the same way! - I have to get on him constantly, BUT, I have to say that he finally started eating like I do, and SURPRISE!!! he is losing MORE weight then I am!!! - sooo, if you listen, it works... moral of the story.. lol
on another note Deni - I am hoping to have lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks. I do have to say that MAN O MAN!! my husband and I both feel and see our muscles becoming more defined and being tighter, and more soar (which is a good thing) then when we have taken other things. If I am gaining muscle like I think I am under this fat layer( heheh ) then I wont lose the 7 pounds but I will definatly see a difference... by next Wed, I should have lost most of this water weight I'm holding and see where I stand... as of this morning I am still at 147 - soo even though that "time" I am still down 3 pounds from when I started 2 weeks ago... not too shabby... Next week will be the REAL test!
Good News! - My husband just reported to me that he has lost 7 pounds - soooo CJ you might want to tell your DH that! :) sometimes people need a little push.. if other men who are following the plan are loseing that much... maybe I can too..... |

I don't know what to tell you about the gaining of weight, I think it really is hard. I just lose weight, starting at 150, but then again, whenever I have really worked out like I have been, I do lose it pretty quickly, how my body is.... it's just when I start eating all the junk and a lot of it, I gain.. lol - funny how that works.....
but it sounds like you are eating well. that is what I am eating, Fish, chicken, veggies, a little rice (yeah I know carbs, but I need them for working out) but I also eat well, I just work out more.... Just wanted to add to mention that I did not lose even one pound in the first 4-5 weeks. I was about ready to give up and try to get my money refunded when the scale started going down (I weigh myself every morning so that I can keep accurate records). I had lost about 1-1/2" from my waist in that time, but no weight loss. I finally stopped worrying about the weight and concentrated on the inches and how my clothes fit. I am very pleased with the results :) |

I have ordered myself 4 bottles. I am considered obese and I have over 100lbs to loose. What I'm reading from some people that most of you only have 25 or less. Which I believe will take you much longer. The more fat one has to loose, the quicker the weight loss. Also keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat, the best way to check is to go by inches, like Mel suggested. I've tried everything too, but my problem has been persistence. I think a lot of diets work, you just have to find the right one. I don't seem to have the patience it takes. It has taken me years to gain this weight, I now realize that it's foolish to think that in a month, it'll just leave. This blog is very helpful but I know that it's going to take the hard work that before I wasn't ready to do. My doctor told me this...if you think about your grandparents, they didn't eat a lot of 'junk' food or a lot of process foods. They normally ate lean meat and vegetables. not a lot of sweets. To my grandparents, to get ice cream meant it was a special occasion. Now with our society demanding everything microwaved, we have did more damage than good. When my shipment arrives, I'll take yall's advice and cut back on the sweets and white starches and eat lean protein and vegetables. I'll drink more water and do more training. az - you are so encouraging thanks. the theory on thinking yourself slim is apparently true (mind u i would be stick thin if it was as i was imagine myself slim all the time , then i look in the mirror and rememeber - hehe!!) being happy helps it releases some hormones that do something!..
mel - 4-5 weeks is so long for no change on the scales but as u said if the clothes get loser and we need smaller ones that is the important thing . it's not what the scales read but how we look at the end of the day.
ritamey3 - you are absolutely right. As you have more to lose you should see results quicker. Good luck. You don't have to wait for the pills to arrive before you change your eating habits - if you weigh yourself today and follow the same diet WITHOUT THE PILLS until they arrive , then weigh yourself again before you start them -I bet you would have already started to lose. The body will lose straight away if you change your eating habits drastically -. i find it harder because i changed my eating habits 2 years ago when i started a low fat diet. The first two weeks i had lost 5 Kilos that is 10 lbs!!! my doctor was shocked - it was because it was the FIRST drastic healthy eating i had done consistently. Now 90% of what i eat is healthy so doing this diet is not doing much quickly and i am hoping the pills will just kickstart it all again so i can carry on where i stopped. |

Deni - I try... You know it's soo much easier to think positive, then it is to think negative! - and yes, I agree about thinking yourself thin... lol - I'd be a super model! lol but realistically - I'm not... :) - Keep me posted on what happens next week. - like Mel stated, didn't see any weight loss but saw inches, I saw 5 pounds right off the bat, but then no more yet that I can tell... but I can definatly see a change in my body. - Keep on sticking with it and doing your walking Deni - I'm really looking forward to your report next week...
Ritamy3 - I have to say.. I really hate those terms (obese, overweight) you know according to the scales, I am considered Pre-Obese... I'm 5'4" and 147 pounds. I wear a size 10 US - seee they just don't make sense!!! - let's just say.... we all need to lose it, that is why we are here.. :) - I do agree though, if you only have 10 - 15 pounds to lose to get "skinny" again, then you will lose it very slowly. but if you have 50 or more pounds to lose to get "skinny" again, then it will come off much faster, till you get to that point, then you too will lose slowly. - I do agree with Deni though, start eating healthy now, it will definatly help in the weight loss battle we all face! :)
Mel - thank you for sharing that, I think that is a good thing to know. |

New York Girl - to be quite Honest with you... the only "natural" weight loss comes from proper diet and exercise, no pills, shakes, powders... in either case, Good luck to you!
Ali, yeah, we are VERY close, I actually started at 150 too so.... I'm really praying that I can lose much more weight, I want to get to about 120 I think will be good. I have 2 HUGE clear plastic bins of clothes that I can't wear becasue I'm too fat! I refused to ever throw those away becsaue " I'll get back into them" sooo that is my motivation... that and the fact that I haven't bought any new clothes, I have been hanging on to my "fat clothes" which is like 1 pair of pants and 1 pair of shorts for a while now... and I'm tired of looking at all my clothes that are soo cute that I just can't wear!! and it sucks...!!! sooo LETS ALL LOSE IT!!! lol
ALI - also, keep me posted on how you are doing with the weight loss, I'm curious how we both will lose the weight.. since we are very close it's an easy comparison..... :)
thanks. |

It seems hard to cut out thoz sweets. I have type 2 diabetes and my entire family on both sides has it 2. I know what to do but since I'm between jobs right now, it's hard to really eat healthy the way I want to. And yes, if your bmi is over 34 and your 100 lbs or more overweight , then u are obese. |

UPDATE: 2 3/4 weeks - I am back down to 145 this morning. yeah!!! still down 5 pounds, hoping to be 2 more by Wed, but I doubt it! lol - I feel like my stomach is getting flatter, and it seems like I am slimming down on my sides, on my upper 1/2 of my body. I seem to be smaller, or again, since I'm not measuring... just my imagination.. :) I'll try on my "tight" jeans on wed to see where I stand with that... Hopefully they are a tad bit manageable! |

well done Az. 7 days today since i started - the initial 2lbs i put on has gone plus 1 lb. so really just 1 ilb.i did measure but i m not sure if i measured in the exact same spot again - if i did - i have lost 1.5cm in the thigh, put on .5 cm on the belly and lost 0.5 on the waist. hmm - i think i didnt measure in the exact same bits ?? my clothes still fit the same but i feel like my tummy has flattened a bit but according to the tape measure it hasnt. i am confused so i will wait another week. i am not 100% strict - i do have a small treat everyday worth around 150 cals - but i balance it - i only eat one dinner - the other two meals are light breakfast types. i will try on my smaller clothes when i lose a bit more weight!!! |

Oh Deni - that is good, I'm glad you are losing some! it's a bit unsetteling when you don't lose soo that is good. About the Measuring.. lol - that is why I don't measure.... I can NEVER seem to measure in the same spot again. :) keep going... and I don't think a small treat will hurt. Every now and again I'll treat myself as well. Last night I just had some ice cream which I haven't had in a long time! - I tried on my low cut jeans just because I had to find out if I really did lose some of the belly weight and I did.... I don't have much of an overlap anymore, it's smoothe, sill have a pooch, but it's not overhanging my low rise jeans.. hehehehe :) yeah!!! still tight around the thighs and butt, which are my problem spots. But, it's been almost 3 weeks and I'm down, soo I am happy!!!! |

az - that is great. the gym is really working for you. i am keeping up with the walking, i know it takes longer but its still some form of exercise. plus i do these stomach things where i suck it in and hold, i do this throughout the day and the doctor says it really helps the stomach muscles. my down fall is my treat - i never used to fancy sweet stuff like this before but hopefully by only eating only one dinner and the rest light snacks it compensates. ur 5 lbs is in 3 weeks right?

:) Yes Deni, that is correct... Also, for the sweet treats, have you tried or thought of the 100 calorie snack packs, or a 90 Calorie chocolate pudding..... if you do that you will be fine... your body needs the calories to burn more, just not too much!!! so don't under do it either.... Some days I eat more then others, but in the end it all equals out somehow!...
ALSO - I have to admit, since I got the Wii Fit, I have been doing more of that then going to the actual gym... since I am actually paying for the Gym Monthly, I think I need to go back to doing that more.. :) it would make sence!!! lol - Keep up with the Walking, like you said, I know it works just takes longer, and perhaps that is why you have been able to keep that off is becasue of the walking... soo just keep on going! :)

Yeah I saw that too, but no more other feedback! - Honestly, I thought about that as well... I don't want to waist the pills if it isn't going to do anymore work then it's doing, but if you lose fasterrrrrrr .. hummmmm lol - I think if I stop losing I will do that, for now, I'm still losing slowly which is the way to go, so I'll stick with the 2 times a day.
As for the gym... hehehee - funny... naa I should really start hitting the gym more, I can work much more of my body there and plus they have these free Fitness Bootcamps.. man they kick your BUTT, but it's fun, and they makes jokes and stuff... - good Suggestion though.. :) |

So it is very encouraging to hear that everyone seems to be losing weight. I just started the pills Sunday. I am trying to lose 25lbs by December cause my best friend is getting married and I don't want to be a chubby Maid of Honor. My sister is getting married in January, so I would really like to have it all gone by then. I used to be very healthy and then I had twins and lost control after I had them. You would think that chasing tw of them would keep me in shape. I hope to report some positive feedback very soon.:) |

GOOD LUCK and keep us posted on your progress!!! |

So far I've lost a total of 24 pounds. What sucks now is that I got poison ivy. I'm really allergic to poison ivy and it tends to really blow up on me. It's all over my face! I had to go to the dr. and she put me on prednisone for two weeks. I'm scared to death it's going to make me gain back the weight I've worked so hard to lose! I've been on it for two days now and I can already see a difference in my stomach. It looks so bloated! I don't even have the nerve to take a measurement or get on the scale. I'm so pissed...I don't even know how I got the poison ivy. The only thing I can figure is that I got it off of the dog's fur after she came in from the woods :( I get put on prednisone whenever I get stung by a bee or wasp for the same reason. Always makes me gain about 10-15 pounds :( |

Mel- don't get discouraged... it's not your fault that you have allergies! did you lose the 24 pounds while on leptitrex?
EMM- I'm trying to lose weight for weddings too! Well, of course my main reason is to be healthy, but the weddings are a good motivator. My sister's wedding is in October and I'm a bridesmaid. My wedding is in May. Even though I have only lost 3 pounds in 3 weeks while using leptitrex, I can definitely tell a difference in the way my clothes feel. I went wedding dress shopping before taking the pills and picked out my top 3 choices, but the samples that they had to try on were really hard to zip. A couple weeks later I went back to try on the same 3 dresses again and they fit better!
AZ- I use wii fit too! I put my elliptical in front of the TV so I can do the wii running on it. I also like using weights while doing the step aerobics. I find myself skipping over most of the yoga. |

Mel - does the prednisone make you gain weight? does it have a side effect? dont weigh yourself until u come of them and then give yourself a week to read ajust. It wont be fat you are gaining but water ie the bloatiness - so it should come of just as quick. u have done so well and maybe the leptritex will help you keep it off this time. mel how long did it take to lose ur 24 lbs?
Emm - good luck. i think ur goal is realistic, it is doable if the pills work with u and if they dont it is still achievable with diet and exercise. |

I've been on Leptitrex since May and just ordered my second shipment of 3 bottles...should arrive in the next two days or so. I've lost quite a lot of inches on Leptitrex and 24 pounds and am now quite loose again in my size 8 jeans (I was up to a very tight size 12). A lot of my weight gain before was from Prednisone. Weight gain is a nasty side effect from the medication. Last time I was on it for a full month, though. I did step on the scale this morning and I'm up 2.5 pounds in two days :(
When I first started Leptitrex it took 4-5 weeks before I saw the scale budge even one pound--although I did lose inches during this time. |

mel - i'm sure it is water. maybe that is the side effect - water retention? maybe tablets that eliminate excess water will help during this time. it is encouraging to hear that even though you didnt lsoe weight on the scale the inches fell off. 4-5 weeks is a lot of patience. well done for sticking with it. |

Az- Thanks I know it can be done too. I did it once before, before I had kids, but it seems that my body wants to do it different this time.
Ali- I am ultimately trying to get back in shape too. I have always struggled with my weight. I was always 15-25lbs heavy in highschool. I lost all of it about a year after I graduated (which has been a while) and kept it off for 3-4 years. I was really good all during my pregnancy, but about six weeks after I had the kids I started gaining and got really heavy. Since then I have lost about 40lbs but have plateaud with about 25lbs to go I had lost 10lbs more but put it right back on. I eat fairly healthy (for the most part):) Good luck losing the weight for your weddings.
Deni- Thanks for the good word. I think it is doable too.
Mel- I hope that you are able to get off the medicine soon. That can be so frustrating to be doing a great job lossing weight, and then put some of it back on. I hope that you start feeling better soon. |

It was just a bad day for me alltogether. :( - but I'm feeling better now, Yes, I'm back up to 146.2 - I'm up .7 pounds from yesterday, not even 1 pound but I'm ok... Back on the Wii Fit and the Gym... Hope to report better news soon.
Ali - you should really do the Yoga, it really helps your core! - also, Hula Hoop. We (hubby and I) have unlocked the Mega Hoop, I think it's called, and the 10 minute one.... OMG - I do that at least once a day... it REALLY WORKS!!! I'm telling you, if you want to build those core muscles, the hula hoop on the Wii Fit really pushes you to get as many rounds as you can and HURTS! but a good hurt... :) - I think that weights on the Step would be good, I have the 2nd step one unlocked but it's at the point where it's too easy. I used to take Step classes so I'm used to all these moves, but it's fun!

i asked leptritex why had gained and this is what they said;
"Most people see results in the first 2 weeks, for some it takes 3-4. The results of our pills are different for different body types. We have found that when taken properly this product works for 95% of our customers. Your body might might just be having a reaction and adjustment to the Leptitrex. Give it some more time. And remember, if it doesn't work, there is a money back guarantee."
obviously we want it to work so we dont get a refund. |

I tried so many products and nothings worked this was my last chance to see the results I wanted, I lost 10 lbs on a 1200 calorie diet and exercise in Jan, and have been up and down with a few, Ive been able to keep that off, but nothing more. Deni - I do not do anything more than housework and running the kids...working in the yard every now and again. I hate to sweat!
I have been trying to stick to a 1200 calorie diet....lots of protein and water and concentrating on what a normal portion size is. I have started living by the motto, "I eat to keep my body going, not to keep my body growing!" Leptitrex has helped me to realize what real portion sizes are. The appetite suppressant in the pills has helped to successfully shrink my stomach so that I only need a true portion size to fill me up, thus eating fewer calories. If those calories are loaded with protein then I'm doing double duty to build the lean muscle which will work to burn the fat.
Seemed to be working till I had to start taking the prednisone. The poison ivy has almost gone away. I think I'm going to google it and see about just stopping the medication early. I'm supposed to take it for two weeks...it's strict schedule of 3 pills for 5 days then 2 for 5 days then 1 for 4 days. That part makes me a little leary about stopping it, like you have to be weaned off it or something. Anyway, I'll look it up first and see, cause I've only been on it for the first 3 days. I don't want to have some kind of bigger problem to deal with. If I can't stop it I guess I'll see about adding some water pills into my daily regimen :)...maybe that will help. |

AZ- I'll get into the yoga again. I've had the wii fit since it first came out so everything is unlocked, so I should really make use of all of the exercises. I love super hula hoop too! You're right about it really working those core muscles! You can't help but look completely ridiculous while doing it, but that's just part of the fun! I know how you feel about the step aerobics. The routine doesn't ever change so it gets too easy... kind of like the boxing. I like doing the free step while watching tv. Too bad the balance board isn't higher off the ground. |

my appetite has got smaller - i do feel like eating every few hours but a snack doe it - i cant eat a big plate of food. for example scrambled egg on its own fills me up or just 1 breast of chicken with nothing else!
i have been itching like crazy on my chest - i mean non stop at night time. i got a bit of heat rash a month ago but the there is no heat now (were in the uk!!!), yet the rash is realy flared up - does anyone know if the pills have a reaction like that or maybe its coincedence?!

You know at first I was like I hate this stupid Yoga too, but My husband and I are sooo competitive we try to beat each other constantly on all of the events. Sooo that alone keeps both of us going. Now I love the Yoga, I find it relaxing, while also working my core... I hate the push-ups into the 1 armed up (forgot what they called that) but it SUCKS! lol - Try doing that Mega Hula Hoop 1 or 2 times a day.. OMG.. I did it 3 times one day and my abs hurt sooooooooooo badly it wasn't funny. :( -
Mel - I like your New Modo.. I totally agree.. Also a good Modo is " Eat for your body not for your mouth" People eat becasue it taste good, not because your body needs certain things in it to survive. It's hard sometimes with all those goodies out there, but Disapline! I always think, " if I have this much, how long is that going to take me to work off? Is it really worth it? are there other alternatives?" that is my thought process when I think of eating, drinking junk.... Except like when I have just really really bad days like the other day... I need to relax with some Alchie! :)
In any case.. Since I haven't been going to the gym latley, or doing Wii Fit as much as I was, I'm not losing anymore weight... so, today!!! BACK TO THE GYM!!!!

Hello all, it's been a while :) Unfortunately I'm gonna have to jump pff the Leptitrex band wagon. Weeks ago I brought up the issue of the St.John's Wort and it's affects on the birth control pill. I wen't to my doctor and she advised me to use a back up method of birth control or stop taking the pills altogether since the bottle doesn't list the quantity of the St. John's. I opted for the latter. Can't afford to mess with my pill! Espicially sincr my results were not as mind-blowing as the website advertised. I workout for an hour a day and eat well 90% of the time. I have lost 5lbs but that was probally water. Anyhoo, I haven't given up on my weightloss journey. With the help of my doctor, I actually stumbled upon something amazing on the market. I'm gonna purchase the product on the weekend, give it 2 weeks with 100% effort and get back to you guys with the results...good or bad! Good luck to you all and I'll be in touch :) |

also i have started fasting today (religios reasons). no water or food from sunrise - sunset. this is apx 16 hours. i know teh body will get confused as i will now eat at night and nothing during the day, this i am scared will make me gain more weight. mot sure what to do? |

NEvertheless, I can still see a difference in my upper body. I am due to take my evaluation with my gym this week which will be 4 weeks on the pills. I'm curious if my body fat % has stayed the same up or down. I'll let you all know once I find out.

Yes, I have noticed that alot of people have dropped off this site as well, I wonder if they just got too busy, stopped writing, or if they actually stopped taking these pills as well. huh! who knows. - Hope things get better for you Deni... If you don't start losing weight and continue gaining then I'd get off the pills... you don't want to put on anymore weight, like you stated, it's difficult as is to lose it, you don't want anymore to lose. |

AZ- like you, my weight has been fluctuating (usually between 150-152).... and I weigh myself at the same time everyday. I'm going to finish this first bottle and see where I'm at. I'm really tempted to try something else, especially because Leptitrex inactivates my birth control pill. It just makes me nervous. Better safe than sorry! |

I hear ya Ali - I've personally gotten preggo 2 times on the stupid pill, so right now the Nuva ring has been working well. No scares or anything with these pills yet. After I get the Fat Content of my body....( which I'm very interested since I can see some difference in my stomach) Hopefully it's good news. I'll post my results.. Hopefully the fat hasn't just misplaced itself.. LOL |

Hello~all..I've been on this pill for almost 2 months, finishing 1 2/3 bottle. This product has changed my appetite a lot. I used to be an emotional eater, craving enormous portion in a short period when feeling anxious. I didn't consider carb the crucial fact building my pounds, so I didn't control carb intake at all. Not until taking this pill that I start reminding myself a 3S spell, small portion, sufficient protein, and slowly munching, during every meal. To be honest, my appetite was out of control couple weeks ago, I thought it was the hormonal changing before period's coming. And I also experienced once or twice severe headache. It was the efficient result that kept me sticking to this product. I don't scale myself, but I can see the changes in the mirror. I don't exercise, but the pill works pretty well for dieting alone. I eat swiss cheese, multigrain crackers, tofu, soy yogurt, soy milk, and peanut everyday since I don't get a kichen in my dorm for preparing real meal. I have one bottle left, but I've ordered 4 more already because I'm going back to my country for a while where leptitrex's not delivered. I'll have them come along with my luggages, and they're gonna be my last order. The reason I'm here is to encourage those who have tried so many other ways to losing weight but failed. Give Leptitrex a shot. I know being chubby have led so many bad things happened. BTW, watching Hollywood celebrities' bodies inspires a lot; everybody works very hard keeping in shape. |

Update: I had gained five pounds on Prednisone (for the poison ivy). I still have four more days left on the prescription. In the last two days I have managed to lose four pounds of it! How? By increasing my protein GREATLY. I did some more research about the protein needs. Do you really know how much protein you should be eating per day? Multiply your weight by .37 (for sedentary) and thats the minimum amount of protein you should be eating per day. I've been drinking a protein shake in the middle of the day which provides 36g of protein...over half of what I need per day. By the time I concentrate on eating my other protein rich foods throughout the day I've consumed approximately 80-100g of protein! It really speeds up the weight loss and controls your appetite. I only ate 1100 calories yesterday but felt like I ate a Thanksgiving meal by the end of the day! Oh, I also watch the fat!
The Barilla pasta Plus is excellent. You get pasta packed with protein. I mix it with tuna salad and few cherry tomatoes for about 21g of protein. Cottage cheese is great too...13g per serving...I have that as a side dish with dinner instead of a starch.
I wish I had realized this from the beginning of my Leptitrex journey. I was eating protein, but not even what my minimum daily requirements were...I didn't even know what they were. I'll be interested to see how this continues with the highly increased protein intake. I had been losing about 1 pound per week. Would love to see 3-4 pounds per week. We'll see... :) |

az - good on you girl. what was the fat measurement?
mel - what fantastic information!!! so you multiply your weight in pounds by.37 - and this speeds up the weight loss? you clever woman - they really should supply some of this info at leptritex
i know i don't eat my minimum and i don't drink i enuf water either - i just don't think about it. I have started to drink some chinese diet tea and am going to the toilet a bit better now that helps with water retention. I lost 3 of the 5 lbs i gained, i'm to scared to weigh myself now. i don't feel lighter i feel heavy and my clothes vary - one day lose next day fitted! i can't get rid of this desire to eat something sweet; i am sticking to low fat , low cal puddings tho!!! |

I want to lose some real weight, not play around here.. sooo I'm going to try that and take Protein Shakes and bars, whatever I can find.... I drink a TON of water every day so I'm not worried about that part, but I know I'm not getting enough protein if that is the case!! lol - Hope this works! |

Hi everyone,
I have been so busy, haven't been on in awhile. After reading some reviews it seems like it's 50/50 with results. As for me, I just finished my second bottle and I am either 145 or 147 every day, no more weight loss in this past month. I think I am going to take the advise of more protein and get my butt working out to see if this helps. I am in a wedding coming up and I was really hoping to have lost some weight. |

| posted 5-Sep-2008 3:40am
LM - if i am not mistaken Alli stops the body from absorbing up to 30% fat or so - i thought of combining the two but then i thought maybe they would counter act each other - because protein foods have high fat content and if the alli stops your body taking this in then maybe you won't be getting enuf protein for the pills to work? just a thought. i took xenical which is almost the same as Alli but prescribed by the doctor along with a very low fat diet and i did lose weight. it just stopped though because my body got used to the healthy food and adjusted so the doctor said there was no point taking it anymore. i gained only 3-4 lbs and that was because i started eating sweet stuff!this is why i am trying these pills now - but so far 3 weeks and nothing amazing - have gone up in weight and come back to where i started so far ! |

LM - i know straight off i won't do that exercise - but the diet side is not that different to what i eat. I also drink green and herbal teas, not enuf water tho! I do think that eating these foods is the key to losing weight with or without pills!!! i eat eggs too but the whole egg not just the white. i prefer the yolk. do you think this has an adverse effect? blueberries - yep love em, infact i like most fruits and salad and veg - so lucky there. you were so well on your diet alone - why did you feel the need for pills - did it stop? they say that when it stops you should adjust what you eat slightly because the body gets used to it. Good luck. how effective is redustat supposed to be? |

exercise is hard and actually i been in this plan for a while now so my body is getting used to the exercise and in a way I almost crave it on weekends lol I think the carton egg whites have a whole lot of less calories and no fat.. i think one serving of egg whte is 25 cals so I get 3 servings, dash of salt, I hate the no color to it so I add fat free shredded cheese and mix it when cooking once is done it looks yellowish and white like regular scramble eggs lol and I add some chunky salsa and it taste yummy :) all that for about 130 cals give or take :) and NO FAT blueberries I really do not like but I moist them and add a teaspoon of splenda and I eat them like that I do like them :) plain I just dont lol the weight has not stop I haven;t stall it had been two years I ad not seen my period and this diet and working out have showed her the light.. I hate it but it makes me feel like my hormones are working fine now so is good ina way lol... The reason why I wanted to give the pills a go, I have a photoshoot the day after thanksgiving and it will be a "bridal trash the dress" I have long ways to go to fit into my wedding dress so I rather use mine and not buy one as I want that asa gift for my 10 year anniversary and it will make it more special being my own dress instead of buying one form craiglist so I just want to speed things up.. but I know if I just continue without the pills I will still loose.. just maybe slower.. I dunno I will find out next week as I weighed myself yesteday and will weigh myself next friday! redustat works really well.. if you happen to eat smething a bit greasier than normal, you take it and well it all goes down when you flush the toilet... I have a lot of family members who have lost just being on that pill no diet and no workout.. I want to do this the right way by dieting and working out and honestly my diet at this point does not feel lik a diet it almost feels like a way of life.. I haven;t taste a hamburger since July 3rd, or pizza, or ice cream and honestly I am not craving it contantly.. maybe every few days I think about oh that could taste good.. but not as bad as the beginning lol off my soap :) |

LM - egg whites in a box? do you think they do that here the UK - how easy . will look for that next time. My eating regime doesn't feel like a diet anymore either - it is a way of life and that they say is how it is meant to be. I do still have a treat if i'm having a meal with my family for a special occasion - but i still chose my meals carefully. I hadn't had a burger for ages , i mean ages can't remember when - and today i had one - i only managed 1/2 of it and feel so guilty that i am not eating dinner - just fruit later on. I love walking and will fit that into my day atleast 5 times a week - min 30 mins - 1 hour, all other exercise is just short term. I just do not have the time - i have three small kids, run a buisness and a home - if i am lucky i get 2 hrs to my self a day - and honestly i do not feel like doing exercise! x
Redustat sounds like the xenical i was on - it doesnt tolerate greasy fat food - i think xenical was a weaker dosage as it was prescribed by my doctor. however when you improve your diet so much as i did it stops working because there is not much fat left in the food you in eat!!!
trashing your wedding dress!! why woman why! i thought you would do that if you were a divorced not happily married . hehe |

I just started Leptitrex today. I started out by taking only 2 capsules 2 x day this weekend to see how it would affect me. The first dose I experienced a headache and took 2 iboprophen, the second dose I was fine. I just turned 50 and had a heck of a time with the weight gain in my 40s so I'm hoping Leptritrex will help get my body back.
I also was concerned I got a bogus batch of Leptritrex since my bottle was orange and grey, not the one on the website. Glad to know the bottle design changed and I have the correct supplement.
As for the stomach burning--I would bet it's the Cayenne that's causing the burning. I took Cayenne suppements previously and got the same burning sensation in my stomach.
I will keep you posted to my progress. Since I determined that 2 capsules 2xday were ok for me I'll try the recommended 3 capsules 2xday and see how it works.
Good luck to all of you--may this suppement work to help us all lose those stubborn pounds of fat!!

Hello All! This is Day 3 for me. I haven't lost any weight (which isn't the important thing), BUT I have lost 1/2" from both my waist and tummy (which IS the important thing). Dunno if this is actual fat loss or water weigh loss, but either way I don't care-I feel better and more motivated and am glad something positive is happening. I don't think I'll bother weighing myself much--the only important thing is how my clothes fit.
I've read through all the blogs and am making sure I eat enough protein, esp for breakfast and lunch.
My appetite has decreased significantly and I get full eating a lot less than before I started taking Leptitrex. Also, not craving the carbs like I used to.

I just ordered a bottle and am excited to try it as I feel all I've read is very favorable. I already have been taking various herbal supplements with good results - not for weight loss, though.
I am 50 and I notice a lot of you seem younger. Here's my question, and I know catpower1818 spoke to this, but does anyone know if someone with borderline high blood pressure but no known heart problems is incurring any risk with this product?
My bp is borderline high and never used to be - my doc said stress, menopause and weight gain has a lot to do with it! So, obviously losing the weight is important! The list of ingredients doesn't worry me too much, but not knowing quantities is a little bit of a concern.
I do drink coffee, always have. About 2-3 cups each morning. I really want to try this but certainly can't, I guess, if it's really risky blood-pressure wise.
I hope someone has some information on this. Thanks so much! |

I just know that the last time I lost a ton of weight after having my daughter I worked out at the gym 5-7 times a week, ate pretty much nothing but chicken, some rice and beans every single day! no pills, shakes, drinks, nothing... it was just such a bland diet and really don't want to go back to that again. Not to mention that I had absolutly NO LIFE at all except, work, gym, school, shower, bed... every day! it sucks, but I guess if it means losing these last pounds I have to do it! :( - sad and depressed!!! hi all - fat loss for idiots works without the pills. The reason - is is mainly a protein based diet - you eat small amounts until you are satisfied BUT NOT FULL. they ask you to chose from a list of foods - they then give you a combination diet for about 10 days i think, you follow their meal plans throughout this - i think it is 4 meals a day, you take them in any order throughout the day. After the 10 days or so is up - you have a 3 day break where you can eat anything - then you start again with another diet plan they devise for you. When you pay they give you a password and you then go in with that and they combo new diet plans for you. Only down side is - i found the meals a bit boring, no salad, fruit, veg - so i got constipated. Example they say eat cashew nuts, turkey, eggs - this is one meal. No portion sizes. But how do you really get a meal out of that combination. I id it for 4 days and lost a 1 lb a day - but the meal plans just didn't suit me. I will try and find one of my diet plans and write some meals out.
Az - my target weight is your starting weight! i wish i could get down to 145 - 150 lbs!! |

I'd rather work my ass off at the gym and eat El Polla Loco all day! lol - Chicken, Rice, Beans, tortilla every now and again, Veggies and rice, Pasta and chicken! that is better for me! ok well I'm headed off to the gym..... I need to get back on track! I was getting lazy and de-motivated! :( |

hi ok found some of my diet - sorry i madea msitake you can eat fruit/ sald/ veg but only if it is part of that meal. diet rules - you get 4 daily meals, you can eat any order but you must eat on the day they are scheduled for. No snacks inbetween. you follow the plan for 11 days then have 3 cheat days - where you can eat anything you want - you then go back on their site and they do you another 11 days. The reason the diet works is it every 11 days the diet shifts calories around and so your body never knows what is going on so continues to burn! you are allowed any diet soda, ice t with lemon, water, coffee or low cal drink with less than 10 cal per glass.
some of my combos were like; day 1 - meal 1 = cottage cheese/ hard boiled eggs/ bowl of green beans meal 2 - roast beef slices/ tuna salad plate meal 3 = cashews/ scramble egg/ fresh apples meal 4 = low fat milk/ chicken/ bowl of oatmeal
day 2 = meal 1 = deli sandwich meal 2, 3, 4 - fruit only for all three - they gave me a selection of 9 fruits
day 3 = meal 1 = cheese slices/ macadonia nuts meal 2 = walnuts/ turkey slices meal 3 = cottage cheese/ hard boiled eggs/ fruit salad dessert meal 4 = roast beef slice/ tuna salad plate
day 4 = meal 1 = cashews/ scramble egg meal 2 = low fat milk/ chicken/ fresh pears meal 3 = cheese slice/ macadonia nuts meal 4 = walnut/ turkey slices
this was taken taken straight from the list in order as they prepared it for me, as you can see - they are not really proper meals, all protein based, very bland and most do not go together - i mean nuts and cheese?!! their was some fruit there but i prefer to have salad with most of my meals.
I think the purpose of the diet is to eat for fuel but not enjoyment - there is only so much you can eat of the above so the body will not over indulge. i personally do not think you can keep up with such a boring restrictive diet, even though it works!

I know the diet can be boring but when you see the results at the end of the eleven day, and you weight yourself and you are down 7 pounds... it is worth the sacrifice, with the diet, you are never hungry and you learn the most valuable lesson: to eat 4 times a day, small portions, you are going to feel your metabolism its working again, its only 11 days!!!! the pills help you not to feel anxious and it gives you energy... for those who have not seen results yet, try to walk 30 minutes everyday... |

I went to the Doctor today. I weighed 158 instead of the 155 I weighed on a friends scale. I told the Doctor I was going to go on a diet, but decided not to tell him about the Leptitrex, cause I didn't think he would approve. I actually went for something else. I have to go to the hospital Friday and have both my Carotid Arteries checked. If I don't lose any weight by the end of two weeks, I am going to contact them and send all three bottles back. I think that will be long enough to give it a try. |

Hey everyone, I just started my second bottle this week and last night I finally went back to the gym. And already this morning, I notice a definite difference in my muscle tone. Yay! The first two weeks I was taking Leptitrex, I was noticing dramatic differences, then at week 3 I started getting bigger again. I was following the instructions and was very careful about my diet, but I wasn't excercising properly. But now after one workout, I'm already toning and shrinking!!! VERY HAPPY! So I will keep up with it and I'm sure I'll get the results I'm looking for. Just a friendly reminder: these are not "magic pills." If you don't follow the instructions exactly, they won't work!!! Don't waste your money. Drink LOTS of water, at least 7 or 8 cups a day. Eat LOTS OF PROTEIN. Don't eat refined sugars or complex carbohydrates. Take the pills every morning and afternoon, and eat 30 min afterward (they won't work otherwise.) Do this, be patient, and watch your body transform. Good luck all!!! |

hey catpower - you're back! if going to the gym is the only way these pills will work then i better not bother - as i won't go to the gym. Mind you mel lost weight withou the gym. The rest of what you say makes sense though as that is what they recommend. I always wandered what happend if you didnt eat exactly 30 mins later - so they don't work at all? |

STILL haven't done that fat test I need to do.. I totally lost track of what week I'm on.. lol - but I'm curious... soo I'm going to schedule tht test soon. Hi guys! Don't give up on these pills. While I'm sure they are not right for everyone, I do think they take time for your body to adjust to them. It took 4-5 weeks before I saw the scale budge at all....but I did lose inches during that time....with no exercise. I think Cat is right in that the pills do not work if you don't eat...you have to eat the protein. As I'm typing this I'm eating 1/2 cup of Egg Beaters with one slice of ham chopped in it and 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese...this is 24g of protein, about half of my daily requirement of protein. You have to get the protein in there...lots of it.
I found a pretty good recipe yesterday for a great protein rich snack, or lunch...Turkey balls 1 pound lean ground turkey 1/2 cup part skim ricotta cheese 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1/4 cup fresh chopped basil 1 egg salt and pepper
Mix it all up. Shape into 1-1/2 inch balls, brown on all sidesin skillet sprayed with cooking spray. Place on cookie sheet and finish cooking in 375 degree oven for 15 minutes until done. Four of these balls served with marinara dipping sauce provide about 28g of protein and fill you up. The next time I make them I'm gonna add more spices...they need a little extra kick, maybe some onion powder, garlic and some italian seasoning...YUM!

Actually, I calculated my breakfast protein wrong...I usually eat 1/4 cup of Egg beaters. This morning I had half cup, so my protein for breakfast was 30g! Don't skimp on the protein...get as much as you can :) |

Tomorrow is the end of my first week. I have gained 3 pounds!!! I feel like I am starving and I really have the jitters. These pills do not do anything for me like they are suppose to. I finally called and told my doctor I was taking them. He asked me to come by and get a diet to go by. I have COPD, so there are all kinds of things that I should not be eating and should be eating lots of carbohydrates. This is the first I have ever heard that there is a diet for people with a lung disease. Guess I will just email the company and ask how to go about sending my bottles back to them.
Hope all of you have real good luck. |

hi woody - it is good you spoke to your doctor. When on medication you must be so careful. The diet they give you will help you lose those extra pounds you gained. good luck.
i decided not to weigh in 2day as it is kinda my time of the month, as i don't get a proper period due to teh coil - i still get something and i feel bloated.
mel you lost inches while not losing weight but i don't seem to be losing any. I do eat a protein rich diet. |

az - spirits up. diets are short term - changing the way you eat is long term. don't look at it as a diet. YOu now eat a protein rich diet and occasionally you are going to want to treat yourself. Don't be so hard on yourself. You had a great weekend - now it's back to normal. The scales show lots of water (alcohol to you and me) take a detox drink and flush it out. Trust me in afew days those extra pounds will have dissapeared. Taking these pills can't be the answer - chnaging our diet will help us lose those pounds anyway - the protein rich diet works without the pills - it is slow but more healthy i think. even though i am not seeing much of a difference i know the foods i am eating are low fat, high protein and healthy. If i stop the pills because i do not see a difference i will carry on eating healthy and occasionaly i will have a take out and i still have my low fat treats too - the body needs a treat too ! x |
Mel
| posted 16-Sep-2008 6:05am
Deni, I agree the body needs a treat. You can't deprive yourself. I was at a cookout last night and had two pieces of pudding cake. Last night I couldn't sleep. Got up and got on the puter and proceeded to eat 6 of those miniature candy bars...still lost a half pound!
The other thing I've been researching about is zigzagging your calories. If you cut your calories by too much your body realizes it and actually stops burning the calories (it goes into starvation mode). Thus you are needing fewer calories to sustain your body in every day activities. By zigzagging your calories (eating more one day, then eating less, then more) you confuse your body and it just keeps burning. Weird, but I have found this to actually be true. At the beginning of your diet you may lose when you cut calories beacause you've been eating so much many anyway, but after a while the pounds seem to stop coming off (they did for me). Once I started zigzagging the scale began moving again. |

thanks guys, I was just sooo upset with myself about the weight gain! Your support is greatly appreciated!!!!! I'm ok again, back on the bandwagon! - I do eat pretty well, and I do workout, but I think I need to try that Zig zagging that Mel spoke of. I just can't seem to get past 145 no matter how much I do. So, I'll do that.. I did also read that if you keep eating the same things and doing the same workouts that your body gets used to it and then stays stationary and your metabolism doens't go anywhere as well. i think this might be a good idea! - so I'm also going to alter my work outs as well.
P.S. I'm not going to take that Fat test till I get back down in weight.. lol |

I got my first bottle of Leptitrex in yesterday & started taking them today, I did notice that I wasn't hungry at lunch and only felt like eating half of my normal amount of food during lunch. Hopefully I'll continue feeling that way and be able to reduce my caloric intake. I noticed a few people mentioning a "burning" sensation and some contribute that to the cayenne pepper in the pills, I noticed a slight burning in my stomach but nothing major. I'm going to be using the pills in conjuction with diet & exercise and see how I do. I'll post it on here. |

yes - the zigzagging is crucial - this is what the fat loss for idiots diet basically does - they give you a new diet every 11 days, with the 3 days cheating inbetwn. so they shift the calories, the diet is mainly protein based and it allows you to treat yourself - because that is what the body wants. Plenty of water. they call it calorie shifting. you need to change what you eat, so the body doesn't know what is coming next and carries on burning. we seem to know what to do but don't seem to do it!!!!! also sometime we don't eat enough calories for our weight so again we don't burn - increasing the calories helps you lose weight too. |

Food Pressure! :) - can't stay away! hehee - well, come on, we all have to buckle down and do this, otherwise we are just waisting our own money! - I talked my Husband into letting me make the meals for 5 days, then he is doing the other 2. The thing is, his father is a GREAT cook, but just about every meal is full of calories! and that is how my Husband likes to cook, but when I cook it's chicken and veggies, and pork and beans, etc.... sooo I'm kicking him off the stove for now, and I'm going to do it my old way and we are both going to get this gone!!!! -

Well, it's not that bad, when I was training with a trainer before my accident and got down to 130 pounds, I was doing the same thing... and it's just cardio, not heavy weight training. soo I am doing Cardio 5-7 days a week, and Weights 3 days a week. This is very much looked at as a heathly life style. As it is I do alot of Cardio, Bike riding, Rollerblading, jogging, speed walking (with the dogs), when it gets cooler we all go hiking - this is all outside of the gym. My family is pretty active. I think this is why I'm not losing. I need to do more and a lil more intense... whichi s definatly something I can do. Between, school, daughters gymnastics, homework (hers & mine) full time job, etc....
sooo anyways - I'm going to try this for 1 more month (I still have the pills, not ordering more)with my new work out regimine and see what happens. if I'm only down another .5% I'm going to DYE!!!! lol - but definatly going to STOP taking them for they aren't doing anything for me at that point. - The trainer told me that if I wanted to come back in 2 weeks rather then 1 month and do another fat% test I could.. sooo I think I might take him up on that offer.... So, how much cardio is enough? Well, it just depends. It depends on your fitness level, how much time you can find for it and what your goals and objectives are. Ten minutes is time well spent if that's all you can find, but if you want to burn 30-50 pounds quickly, your best bet is 30-60 minutes, once to twice a day, most days of the week.
An article I found... Yes, you will find contradicting ones as well, but what works for me wont work for everyone... just thought this might give some people on here an idea of how much cardio they need to do, but PLEASE don't forget to get those weights in there, you will lose more weight/fat overall doing your weight training 3 days a week, that's it.... and NO you wont get body builder bodies... after cardio, you stop losing calories/fat/weight - but up to 2 hours after weight lifting you are still burning, not to mention that your muscle will continue to burn calories through out the day at a slower pace even though you are not working out.
Food for thought! |

Hey All,
I got my first bottle in the mail about 2 days ago. So far, mixed reviews. I don't drink a lot of caffeine so I don't know if what I'm feeling would be considered "jitters" but I definitely feel something. I guess to describe it it makes me feel weak. I have pretty low blood pressure to begin with and I'm making sure to eat a good but healthy amount so I know it can't be low blood sugar. Has anyone else felt this way? I hope it gets better. :) I need some help losing the 15 pounds I've gained since getting married. It doesn't help to be married to a man that never gains an ounce!
Also, one more question...has anyone ever thought of taking the pills before lunch and before dinner? I don't really eat breakfast because I'm just not hungry when I get up, but I'm wondering if doing the lunch and dinner thing will lessen the effect of the pills. What do you guys think? |

tk - I don't know about the Lunch, Dinner thing but you will see that some of up have had tummy burning and some other effects, just eat a Piece of cheese, or chicken, turkey from the night before, something high in Protein. you don't have to eat a Full meal, although all diets you look at say eat your smallest meal for Dinner, and biggest for Breakfast becasue you will burn more of the Breakfast then the Dinner, which turns into fat while sleeping... just something to think about. |

I was wondering if anyone with 100+ pounds to lose has been on this for any length of time and could give a good account. I just opened my second bottle today. I have lost 11.2 pounds with the first bottle, which isn't too bad, though I was hoping it would be a little bit faster. I am not able to exercise at all due to lung disease though, so considering that, I guess 11.2 pounds in a month isn't all that bad. Oh...one thing I forgot to mention is that I do feel the pills are helping a LOT with the cravings I tend to get while dieting. I don't seem to be getting them at ALL, which is a huge plus. Also, I don't get as hungry. I am trying to eat a small amount every 2 to 3 hours instead of eating a full meal 3 times a day. Protein bars (Special K and Zone Perfect) help me fill in between the main (ie cooked) meals. |

Thanks AZ for the reply. I'm finding as the days pass, the jitteriness is becoming less and less. I know I need to eat a lot of protein with these pills so is it basically like an Atkin's Diet in conjunction with the pills? I feel like in the 4 days I've been taking them, I've noticed that I'm not as hungry and I feel like my body is changing a little bit, but I haven't really been eating that much protein after taking the pills. I'm still taking the pills. Am on my 4th bottle. Have lost a total of 23 pounds and many inches all over (waist, abdomen, hips, thighs). Have gone from a too tight size 12 jeans to comfortable size 8. I had gained back about 5 pounds due to having to take prednisone for poison ivy but have lost that. I seem to have kinda stalled on the weight loss. It may be because of the prednisone. It may be I got side tracked with two weeks full of family functions (chock full of food for each occasion...ughhh!)Who knows. I'm still taking the pills though and still trying to lose 20 more pounds to reach my goal. In total I ordered 6 bottles of Leptitrex (Two orders of three). I'm on my fourth and have two more left.
I don't think I would recommend taking the pills before dinner. They could keep you from sleeping at night. |

Hello fellow dieters! I've been looking for information on Leptitrex for a while now and am glad to have found this thread. REAL people actually taking and discussing it, what a treat, truly a first. Read through this whole thing with interest and decided to give Leptitrex a go. Actually, I have to admit deep down I don't really expect it to work, but I know it will make me stick to my diet plan and exercise like superglue - I spent a hundred bucks afterall, motivation enough!
I placed my order on Sunday and got my two bottles yesterday - took only 4 days, nothing to complain at all. Arrived in a USPS mailing box with an address label glued onto it - so much for the image of a professional company. But oh well!
Today was my first day taking them. I took two sets of 3 pills, one for lunch at about 12 and the other at about 5 for an early dinner. I'm usually not a breakfast person and am totally happy with my lunch at 12, though I know about the statistics and keeping your metabolism high by eating a healthy breakfast.. I'll try it this way for know and see how it goes. I didn't feel any nausea nor a burning sensation, no jittery feelings or being extremely hyper. Actually I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary at all, safe for a strange feeling of fullness. Was still looking forward to lunch but was really satisfied after my typical diet-sized portion. Hopefully that will keep up and not change when the body gets used to it after a couple of days, I know people here said their appetite went back to normal after a while. Oh well.. I could most definitely get used to this satisfied feeling of not craving anything at all, how liberating! Sitting here, watching a movie on a lazy and especially cold and rainy Friday night, NOT munching on things or even close to thinking about it.
I'm wondering if having taken the pills at 5pm will get me in trouble with going to sleep, I guess I'll find out in a while. I feel fine, not jittery or hyperactive, I'm actually quite tired after a long day of work and don't really expect there to be any problems, I can sleep through anything. Good thing it's Friday!
Oh, I'd appreciate to hear from you guys even if you turn your back on Leptitrex - it's nice to be in touch with the same people and the every-day-troubles with fighting against those nasty pounds of fat. Ah, why must dieting be such a major pain! |

Hailey7 - this is a forum to help, inform and encourage - none of which you have done. If you have in fact been following this from the beginning, you would know that deni and AZ have done all of the above. You're not hurting any of us by not ordering these pills. In fact, if you have nothing to bring to the table, keep your negative comments to yourself. I too have been following along, and this is the first time that I have commented. |

I want to say THANK YOU for the above support, it's appreciated! - Deni - I've been doing ok.. still stuck! but I have to say... I was doing my weekly exercise, eating well and everything, then life started getting busy and I lost it with the exercising. I did weigh myself though and I'm about the same.. the same ol 5 pounds.. I need to stick to it.. it's soo hard to stay with the exercising when you have sooo much going on in your life!!!
as for the new people - how are you guys doing? any progress, changes?
Hope everyone is doing well, Keep up the good work! "fight the fat!!!" hehee that is what the boxing says on my Wii Fit it cracks me up!

Oh hey TK How are you doing.. I'm sorry I forgot to ask... hope things are getting better for you! and yes you are right, it's kinda like atkins - BUT only the healthy stuff... I've known people on Atkins that will eat like the melted greasy cheese off a pizza and stuff like that - becasue it's protein - YUCK! that's what I say, it makes me sick to eat grease like that.... soo just make sure you eat Healthy, eat frequently - 4 times a day at least, in small amounts, and keep up the water and protein - this will help you also Kido - if you do this it might help lose more weight, I know about the Breakfast issue, I'm the same way but I force myself to eat 2 scrambled eggs or a small bowl of cherios, it's a small change but it really does help.
Let me know how it goes..... :) |

az where have you been? i felt i was all alone for a while then randomtroublemaker and anonymous came in for moral support. it is so frustrating not move on the scales - i have stopped taking the leptitrex for a week now - need to post them two bottles back for a refund. I am drinking the chinese tea but still keeping to a protein rich diet. well i am definately going to the toilet more - which i prefer as i do not feel bloated. Scales wise not a huge change i keep fluctuating 3 lbs - if i had some more movement it would really motivate me, but i am not going to give up and eat bad again - it has been almost two years !!
a friend of mine is following a no carb diet - literally no carbs - and has lost 21 lbs in 9 weeks. she says that once you do not eat carbs fora few days you don't crave at all - what i didn't realise was you can not eat fruit on a no carb diet - i love fruit!
I think Mel has been the biggest inspiration on this forum - you have done so well. Catpower came back and did well too ... good luck evryone - it is clear we all have different bodies and it works for some and not for others, the goal for all of us "BIG Girls" is the same - we want to lose weight and look good. So any ideas we see working we should share - my friends no carb diet - no pills either by the way is great for her, she is also a vegetarian!!
Has anyone tried lipobind? its new in the UK and it is being advertised by reputable health shops and pharmecies - i tried it and gained on thet too - what is wrong with me??!!

I see there is someone else posting on here now with the same name as myself so I will post/comment as Rose31 from now on.
Tomorrow will be my second week on Leptitrex but I haven't weighed myself because I'm afraid to be disapointed if I haven't lost anything but I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow and see how that goes... hopefully good. :)
I feel like I've at least lost inches... I'm feeling really good so far!!! |

Deni - I'm still here, just been soo slammed with work and my daughter with her gymnastics, she has an exibition coming up on the 4th, soo it's beena lil crazy with her and school is keeping me busy writing papers :(.... nevertheless... I'll still be here..
I actually could NEVER do a no carb diet.... I LOVE bread tooo much! but I am totally fine with the low carb diet, which I do. it's just a lil bread, but at least I get my fix, then I'm good again for another week or so.. :) hehee I love vegitarion food, as much as I have tried, I could manage doing a combo of the 2. which is very healthy eating.
Rose31 - have you measured yourself? or do you just feel the loss in your clothes? I think that is the real teller.. you know even gym trainers always tell you to NOT weigh yourself, it doesn't matter becasue Muscle weighs more then fat, so you can lose 5 pounds of fat and gain 3 in muscle and you would weigh more then you did before.. that is why I am doing the Fat % test with the trainers at my gym. it tells you much more...
by the way.. I'll do that fat loss % test again in another 2 weeks or so, lets see how I feel.. lol I'll keep everyone updated! :) |

AZ, Rose: Thank you! Deni: Not all of us are "Big Girls" (I'm certainly not)... but keeping at a healthy weight is important to all of us! It gets harder as the years go by so at (almost) 26, I'm trying to get in as good a shape as possible now so I can stay that way later in life. Another added note: I have this belt that a few months ago, I could only use the widest notch. Now, the 2nd one is somewhat loose on me and I can squeeze down to the 3rd if I want. Definitely a noticeable difference in the mirror, and to other people. Of course, my mother accused me of being too thin before so you can imagine the comments I get now... I used to be naturally very skinny and there's nothing wrong with being that size again if I do it in a safe and healthy way, which I am. I eat! I just don't eat junk food or sugar and I stay as active as possible. I want to add that this product is very good at reducing cravings, especially for carbs and sweets. Cravings for those things are usually due to an imbalance in blood sugar levels. Leptitrex stabilizes blood sugar (I'm technically considered hypoglycemic, but since taking these pills I have a lot fewer days where my blood sugar is off.) Good luck everyone! |

I am hopeful so we will see. I will post weekly results for those that were in the same boat as I was before I purchased, wondering if this product works or not. Hopefully I will shed this fat and build the muslce that I had before, again. Wish me luck!

catpower1818 - the fat % test is given on a special scale that the trainers at my gym have. It has a handle that you told up straight, even with your shoulders, and it sends a current through your body and tells you what your fat% is. I don't know exactly how it works but it's pretty cool. - The trainers also advise that no one go by the BMI for that is out of date and not really so accurate. - also, I'm not exactly big either, I think that Deni was trying to make a point. Yes, everyone wants to get healthier, thinner, less fat on their bodies, that is why I am here, as well as everyone else.....
Keep up the good work, and keep us updated! hearing results of others is always inspiring! |

I'm not a big girl either nor am I skinney but I try to stay at a certain weight and now that I've gone up I started freaking out lol so I decided to buy the leptitrex.
I work out three times a week and walk everyday for at least 30 minutes so it's not a whole lot but it's something. Anyway, I would like to lose 10 pounds for sure and then 15 to 20 would be really nice.

Well all, like I mentioned before I do feel slimmer and my stomach feels flatter so I'm thankful for that. Only thing if you're going to buy more than one bottle at a time then it's better to order them from Leptitrex.com because they end up being cheaper. But if you only want to order one bottle to try them out first then Netraceutical.com was really good and they were 49.99 a bottle and 53.99 with tax. |

I have some info about Alli - I never tried it becasue of this reason - If you read the label - it tells you to wear dark colors because you can have anal leakage! - ummm sorry, but that's not for me.. lol - They say it's becasue your fat is repelling the fat, so it goes right through your system, in turn, if you eat fat, it's going to go right through you, so if you have have constant bathroom with you, then I wouldn't suggest getting these.... This just doesn't seem right to me either...
anyways.. lol -- that's my 2 cents about Alli :) |

I mean I'm not big.. I weigh 145, but I think I just need to lose another 10 - 15 pounds to be skinny again! - but I'd be happy with 10 :) - I think this is why it's soo hard for me right now. - it sucks!!!

Deni: No worries, I was never upset with you. Just wanted to paint a clear picture . I just want to say that these pills have changed my life. I am feeling healthy and happy. And for the first time in years I have normal amounts of energy again. I used to have chronic fatigue and it was really having a negative affect on my life... but enough about that, no need to focus on the past and on the negative. I am incredibly grateful that Leptitrex gave my my life back! I no longer need to eat a lot because my body is actually USING FOOD FOR ENERGY. I am completely off junk food. Yes, I'm serious. No junk food, no sugar, no caffeine, no alcohol. My body is very sensitive so the physical responses are immediate, and are not pretty. It's easy to quit something when every time you have it, it makes you sick. But beyond that, I love my body and could not imagine putting something in it that was unhealthy or artificial. I only get one body per lifetime, so I'm going to treat it with respect and love! NOTE: I am in no way suggesting that those who cannot completely eliminate junk food are failing in any way. I'm just expressing my excitement at finally getting myself, and my life, together. God knows I've had one hell of ride for someone who is only 25.... but thanks to a new positive attitude and these pills, I am more grateful and happy than I ever was before. Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. I was waiting it out to see if I could report any changes.
Looks like I missed some craziness in the form of a girl named Hailey. Uhh...rude.
Anyway, I'll be finished with week 2 on Saturday and I'm proud to announce that nothing has happened! Jk. But seriously, I feel like I look thinner but my clothes don't fit any looser. I'm also afraid to weigh myself since I know it's supposed to be about inches lost and not pounds lost. I'm going to keep taking the rest of the pills and hope that I even see the slightest bit of difference.
I did my first diet which was a way strict version of Atkin's when I was 19. I went from 165 to about 130 in 2 and half months. I maintained that 130 status until I was about 24. Then I was around 140 for about a year. I got a job as a teacher and got my first gym membership. I was going to the gym about 5-6 times a week and pretty much eating what I wanted since I lived by myself and had to buy for myself. In going to the gym, I lost about 8 pounds in about 2 months. I stayed at a nice 132 until...
the husband came. I met him and have been gaining weight ever since. It seems to happen when I'm in a relationship. I guess people call that the "happy weight." But it sucks that now I can't lose any of it. I've tried copying the diets of yore with no results. I just don't think I have the willpower like I used to. I am not looking to be a size 2 or even a size 4. I've been a swimmer for 7 years and know that I will have more of an athletic build, but man, it sucks to gain weight so rapidly and try really hard and not lose anything. I've been going to the gym 4-6 days a week since the end of June and the only change I've seen is the scale go up. My clothes don't fit any looser; in fact, I've had to resort to buying the next size up because the clothes I wore at 145 don't fit nicely. I'm almost to the point of going to see a doctor because I think it might be a thyroid problem.
I've changed my workouts. Tried doing more cardio, less weights. More cardio, more weights. I've tried eating solely protein and vegetables for a week straight. Even my husband is supporting me and making sure I eat healthy foods and not a lot of carbs. And since June, there has been nothing.
Sigh....it's just so depressing. Why work so hard when there are no results? That's my pessimistic attitude coming out. But as shallow as this may sound I'm trying to get back to 130 (I'm around 152 right now) so that I can get pregnant and have a baby and not have to lose a lot of weight after the baby is born. I want to be at a healthy weight for the baby and with my height (5'4") I am about 10 pounds over the maximum for a 5'4" woman.
Anyway--after my rant--I will be finishing this bottle and I hope to see a glimmer of hope. Also, my face totally broke out! I get acne sometimes around that good ol' time of the month, but this was crazy! It's starting to clear up, but all I could think is that it was the pills. I didn't like that.
I hope everyone is being successful and I'll talk to you all soon!

Hi all...I seem to have trouble on the weekends too. I forget to take my pills. I'm almost done with my fourth bottle of Leptitrex and seem to be stuck. The scale is not moving...no more inches coming off. Have been at the same weight and inches for the last month and a half (I keep a daily chart). I still have two more bottles left and 20 more pounds to my goal weight of 140. I'm starting to get a little worried with the holidays quickly approaching. |

tk - I really hate to tell you this but I when I got prego I was 22 and weighed about 115 - 120 pounds, and through the pregnancy I only gained baby weight, nothing else, I was all belly... As soon as I had her I weighed 160. I ate super healthy throughout my wholy pregnancy, I walked alot, I did everything they say you are suposed to do... sooo it doesn't matter how thin you are when you get prego, it's afterwards that HURTS!!!!! - I was depressed for a while, then got a personal trainer that kicked my ass into shape!!! - sooo just a lil tib-bit... |

Oh, I think I might need to add that I have never been for or over weight at all in my life, till after the lil one! - always weighing 115 - 120 - after working with the trainer I got to 130 but I was tone and had a great body! I was sooo proud of all my hard work! then a couple months later... MAJOR car accident and been struggling ever since! I haven't had the money to get the personal trainer again, they are Expensive, but I have to say... As much as I have sent on pills - I should just save it all up and get a trainer again.. I did it with no pills, no shakes, nothing, but food, healthy food! - anyways... I guess I'm just getting frustrated as well.... I haven't weighed myself but I can feel that I haven't lost anything in my thighs! tummy flatter yes, and it counts but when you look like a cow in a bathing suit it really SUCKS!!!! - ok it's been a bad last 2 days.. lol - I wont weigh myself till Sat Next week... sooo I'm really hopeing I lose something! if not.. I'm going to cry! |

AZ--that's totally how I feel. Somedays I freak out because it seems like nothing fits and everything I try fails. Besides starving myself and working out incessantly, I've tried Slim Fast, South Beach, green teas, Hydroxycut, Intuitive Eating, you name it. All of them SUCK!! I do know some friends who have lost weight doing Weight Watchers. One of my good friends lost about 25 pounds. So maybe instead of spending my money on stuff that doesn't work, I should try something that does. Although, everyone is different. And just cause it worked for my friend, doesn't mean it will work for me.
But I will still use this 1st bottle and keep with it. Stay hopeful. :) |

I know it worked last time. I always ask the trainers to kick my ass, As long as I am told to do something I do it. No questions of crying! I've always been determined that way, but sometimes it's harder with no direct direction! ya know! :( - just sad |

Ok so I got my bottle today and opened it to see what size these pills are and man, they smell like spices LOL! Makes me want to eat em now, but its too late in the day so tomorrow I start my quest. My goal is 25 pounds by the end of the year. I will keep you posted and let you know how week 1 went.
to Mel: after a certain period of time, your body begins to hit a plateu and doesnt lose anymore weight. This is normal. If you are working out, change it up a little bit. Try a different cardio exercise and if you are doing weights as well, try doing a different exercise as well...once your body sees that you are doing something different to work your muscles, it will respond. Hope this helps. |

Hello Newbie's :) - I got my bottle in 3 days! wasn't long at all for me!... hope you guys get them so you can start......
Soooo - Remember I said I was going to start the bootcamps they have at my gym, well no one signed up so I ended up getting a 1 on 1 personal training session for free! OMG he kicked my booooty! - He also taught me a lot of new moves, and told me better things to do. I also talked to him about my thigh, hip problem. He said that that is usually the last thing to go for women. Sooo as my tummy flattens more and more, I will lose more of my hips and thighs.... ALSO - I told him about doing the Fat % test again at the end of next week... He advised me not to. He said.. well you can, but I really advise you to wait 4 - 6 week with the eating of 6 - YES 6 times a day!!! I told him that eating 4 was hard enough, but he said that if you eat 6 times a day it will send your Metabolism into Hyperdrive! he said at first your body will go into shock, then it will start losing!!!! - he said he has had 1 lady lose 12% body fat in 6 weeks doing that~!!!!! WOW!! soooo I urge all of you to try this with me... I'm excited to see my own results, and if anyone else decides to do this as well, I'm excited to see theirs as well...................... A Plan! - he said that when you get up that morning, or later at night, write out your eating schedule, if you have to, set your cell phone alarm, your wrist watch, something, to remind you to eat--- well at 6 times a day it's a snack! lol - but nevertheless.. SO- that I'm going to try and at the advise of the trainer, I'm going to wait 4 weeks.. :( -
sooooo, is anyone going to join me on this challenge!!!!! WHose up for a lil excitement! .. lol - like we don't have enough in our lives now huh!! hehehee |

I go to the gym for 30 mins on my lunch 5 days a week and am gonna start going some weights after next week so....after 4 weeks right? I'll give you an update on the actual weight....sound like a plan stan? I will still give updates weekly as to how I feel, how my pants fit and all that but at the 4 week mark, I will give my actual weight. Woo Hoo.....here we go...our very own biggest loser!!! Sweet!! Yeah I know SQ - 6 times a day... but at that point it's just small healthy snacks... a small salad for one... eggs for another... protein bar for another.... it's like you don't eat any REAL meals, I guess that is why you lose more,, you are not putting as much in your body at one time, so your body can actually burn it all up, thus losing more weight.... but I figured.. let's make it fun, ya know! - We can start this Monday!!! WHOO HOO!!! yeah! - I'm excited to see my body lose fat in hyper drive.. lol

Hello, I am new to chats but have thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed reading everyone's comments. They all have been very helpful and encouraging. I finally decided to take the Leptitrex plunge-based on research and all of the postings. My overall goal is to lose 15 lbs, but really I want to be lean and not focus so much on the scale. Lost 5 lbs. the first week and still holding at 5 lbs going with second week ending Sunday. I am eating fish, N/F yogurt, blueberries, apples, asparagus, broccoli, sweet potatoes, brown rice, legumes (edamame, black beans, etc.) chix breast, egg whites, whole wheat wraps, protein skakes, etc. Basically, I am trying to eat VERY clean. It's killing me sometimes but I know my body is getting the fuel that it needs. I also drink about 3 liters of water. I workout 6 days a week, doing cardio and about 3-4 doing weights (arms, legs, shoulders, tri's, bi's, etc.) Even though the scale isn't moving I feel like I am losing inches. I forgot to take my measurements. I will keep to push through like everyone else!! I hope this helps someone else!
Again, thanks for all of your postings!!! |

Hey Guys!
Anonymous--the only negative effects I had were the burning in my stomach and the acne. I actually broke out but now it's getting better. I eat a string cheese with my first set of pills in the morning otherwise it burns like crazy. But that's all the negatives I've had. Oh and not losing anything. haha. ;)
So I tried on a pair of my jeans today that were getting too tight about 2 weeks ago and in the thigh area I can actually grab a little fabric now. I wasn't too excited because the waist didn't seem to fit any better but maybe I'm starting to lose some inches in my butt/ thigh area. I was excited for that at least. I'm heading into week 3 so it's all downhill from here. The next 14 days will determine if I go for bottle two.
Stay tuned. |

I just ordered a couple of bottles. I'm not looking for a miracle in a bottle, but at this price, I sure hope it works. Anyway, I'm noticing several people who have lost weight, but many that say they haven't and are very disappointed. My question is, "How many people whom did not lose weight actually work out?" I'm doing P90X by beachbody.com. This is an intense workout series and I've lost about 5 lbs in 3 weeks with only protein shakes as a supplement. Again, another way to really see if the pills are having any effect is to take a measure of your body fat using calipers from different parts of your body; don't just go by the scales. |

Hey dieters!
I've been on a big trip from work and ... *sigh* .. forgot the pills!! *facepalm* Such a stupid thing to do really, and I just got them. But oh well, I'll start taking them right tomorrow morning. I've also started with Atkins and am really quite happy with it. The strict no carb phase is tough, but it seems to make sense to grow into low carb through induction. I had been thinking about starting Atkins for quite a while and now that I forgot the pills at home I had the pressing need to do *something*, so I just went ahead and started. In just the few days I lost about 5 pounds, I'm so happy! Some of it might be water, but I was on a diet before as well as watching what I ate, so I'm not sure. But anyways, I'll continue with taking the pills and doing Atkins at the same time. Thinking about it, shouldn't Atkins be perfect with the pills? You're supposed to eat mainly high protein foods anyways. Or are there any significant carb/sugar amounts in the pills that I don't know about?
I'm still motivated, I hope everyone else is as well! Keep it up! : ) |

Hey everyone! I did receive my order on Saturday. I started this morning. Already I feel energy. It is great to hear everyone's stories. I am not sure about the whole "smelling the pee" thing. That is too funny! I would agree that you definitely need to work out and eat healthy with any diet that you do. There is no miracle in a bottle. But I am expecting great results and I sure hope I don't have disappointment as others have. Good luck everyone and keep your head up. A positive attitude makes all of the difference in the world. |

Although I do have to say, that on Friday I tried to do it and ended up only eating 5 times, becasue I just couldn't eat anymore.... but on that last meal, I swear I took no more then 10 small bites and I was done! I felt like I was stuffing myself. soo If that is the way it's going to be.. I'm going to be HAPPY doing the 6 meals a day. Barley eating anything, but 6 times a day, and you feel completly full!!! Day 4 of taking the pills. I can fit a pair of jeans that I wasnt able to fit into a couple weeks ago but it could be water weight...Im gonna weigh myself to see if Ive lost anything. I started working out two weeks before taking these pills so we'll see if its given me an edge. I'll keep ya posted.
Day 1 of our 4 week challenge...we'll see how this goes...Im not feelin well either today so im not looking forward to the gym.
I noticed the burning sensation in my stomach as well when I take them. What I found that helps is along with my 16-20oz of water that I drink w the pills, I also drink a protein shake to help cool off that burn. What Ive noticed is that Im fuller longer and the burn isnt there. Im also not as HOT and sweaty as i was the first two days.
STAY POSITIVE LADIES!! |

Hello all! I started my pills today as well. I followed some of the advice and had some string cheese along with my first 2 pills this morning and didn't experience any burning. I have a ton of energy today as well, but that could just be anticipation of the "new me"!! I'm not a "power" exerciser, but do walk 2 miles at least 5 times a week. Also, I eat fairly healthy, but am trying to do "no carbs" to "low carbs" to get my weight loss started. In addition, I'm drinking water, water, water. I had 2 cups of coffee at home and then started the water as soon as I got to work. I do plan to increase my exercise plan, but also have a 3-year old. Does that count as an exercise program in itself?? By the way, I'm 40 years old, currently weigh 190.5 lbs (but am considered "solid", so I guess I wear it well), and am 5'-8" tall. My doctor has told me that, with my frame and body type, I should ideally weigh between 170-175. Wish me luck!! |

I told myself I wasn't going to eat after 7 p.m. last night, and although I thought about it, I resisted the temptation - and it wasn't hard at all! I have managed to do it 4x a week and am building up to all 7 days because there are some days where I can only hold in 5 little meals. Ive lost the 5 lbs but nothing more...I think my body is just lagging big time on losing the fat but Im holding strong. I will probably buy another bottle off of the eBay guy and when I do, I will spread the news...good or bad. But I usually trust eBay sellers so we will see...Im a little sceptical still...but am going to do it anyway. I think this stuff ROCKS!!

So now I guess the question can be raised, if you find yourself running low of Leptitrex and cannot find the product, what will you do?
1. Take nothing and see if you continue with the weight loss using the exact same diet and exercise program that you used while taking the pills?
2. Take nothing but change your diet and exercise program in anticipation of potential weight gain?
3. Find an alternative product such as DecaSlim, Ephedrasil Hardcore, or Anoretix? |

Hi everyone,
So I am still taking the xenadrine, mo more side effects. I had them the first week. I was walking 2 1/4 miles about 3-4 times a week and doing good not eating alot of crabs. This past week, I have not walked and have been splurging but I still weigh myself daily and have not gained any weight staying at 142. I still have weight to lose, so I need to get back on track and continue walking and watch the carbs. The weather is colder so I am hungry, or leptitirex really did work, cause I wasn't not hungry on it. How is everyone else doing? I would be happy to lose 10 more lbs. If I could get to 130 I would take it. I realize I will never be a size 4 anymore. lol |

Hello!, I got leptorexin a few days ago before I knew it's previous name. I'm glad I found this site! I've lost 3 pounds in 4 days, but I'm still being skeptical because I'm afraid it'll stop working or that its all water weight. I'm already wondering if they honor their return policy, lol. I got 2 bottles, and I kinda wish I had just ordered 1. I've been dieting and getting light exercise for the past 2 months and had already lost 19 pounds, but I wanted results faster.
About me, I'm 19, 5'3 and now 161.6 pounds.
I wonder if I'm the only one that doesn't feel that great on these pills. I think they mess with my head a bit. I don't feel quite right, so today I'm going to take 4 instead of the normal 6. I don't have a racing heart though, which is definitely good! Oh, I get that burning sensation without food too.

Huh...so yesterday I ended up eating more that normal (friends' fault) and the peeing effect stopped yesterday as well and I'm at 164 again. Hm. That'd discouraging, but I'll do well today. Oh, I opted to take 6 after all. They didn't make me feel weird yesterday. |

Lisa, I feel your pain, I've been on these pills for a couple of months and honestly I think the only thing that they are doing for me is making my food intake a bit smaller. I've started eating 5 - 6 times a day to keep it small and to help my metabolism go, but other then that.... NOTHING has happened! I lost 5 pounds almost right away after started taking these, and now.... Stabilized! SOOO, I'm trying out some new things... #1 - Karve Pilates! I have read nothing but GOOD results from this. #2 Cut out any alcohol beverages except 1 time a week, and on that night, I only have 2 drinks! - This is our Family Poker Night.... I'm eating More Veggies, and less fat, trying to cut out as much as I can... Exercising 2 times a day for about 30 minutes to 1 hour a piece now.... I don't know what else to do.. :( - this sucks! - soooo Let's give this a couple of weeks and If I don't lose anything by 2 weeks, then something is seriously wrong with my Body!!! - Good Luck on the Journy everyone

Aw, that must be so frustrating! =( I think I'd have given up if I didn't get anywhere in a few months! Why not try a different pill? I hear eating small meals is good, but it's not for me. I don't like eating just a little at once b/c it takes too long to get my mind off food after that, lol. The pills do seem to be suppressing my appetite I think, but I've already been drinking a wolong and pu-erh tea blend that does that too. I'm too lazy to get more exercise than the 40 minutes I get a day walking around campus and the 5 flights of stairs a few times a day. =P Well, once or twice a week I do sit ups and life weights for 15-20 min, but that's not much either, haha, but it's enough that I feel like I use my muscles. =) |

I'm 5'4 and weigh between 140 - 150 - but trying to get down to 130 (goal #1) 120 (goal #2) - I'm hoping that I can do it with these extra classes I'm going to take. |

It tells you how many calories you need to eat and how many you need to burn a day in able to lose the weight..... It's really cool and a real eye opener.I just got one and I thought I was pretty active before and apparently I'm not. I go to the gym at least once if not twice a day, and I walk the dogs, I thought I was good..... NOPE! I needed to burn more calories then I was intakeing becasue I wasn't burning what I needed to I wasn't losing weight.THis is a MUCH better investment in your health then pills. Placeing junk into your body when you don't need it. just get your boottie moving more, burn more calories and eat the right things and the right amount of calories.... |

They must have just cut and pasted the new name on the old web page as they still have this sales pitch gem on the site:
"How many bottles should I order? We have DEEP discounts for multi-bottle purchases which most customers take advantage of. Due to recent word of mouth and national news stories about Leptorexin we expect to sell out within the next 24 hours. All orders are limited to 4 bottles so we can serve as many customers as possible. Here is a list of the most popular purchasing options in order of most commonly used to least:...."
So I guess this product will vanish and a new one will pop up, perhaps named "Leptitrextrexin" |

Have any of you heard or done any reshearch in Acai Berry. It seems like everywhere I go I hear people talking about it. I have done some research on line as well. It's supposed to be a more natural supplement, in away it's seems similar to the new leptitrex. I am torn on what to purchase. Any thoughts. Happy Hoildays |

Hi Kelly,
I took leptitrex, but have not orderd the new one yet. It seems like it is the same pill, just a different name. I did not get that side effect from them. The only think I did like about these is I didn't get any bad side effects like I have with other pills. I don't think there is really a safe diet pill out there. Even is you buy over the counter ones from Walgreens they all say these have not been approved by the FDA. I think as long as you don't have any serious health problems you should be okay.I am going to order a bottle as see how is goes. When I took Leptitrex I was following a low carb/high protein diet and walking and I lost 20lbs. I have 20 to go for my wedding, so I am going to give these another shot and try the same thing I did last time. At first I wasn't walking with them and really only lost water weight, but as soon as I started to walk, the weight kept coming off. |

Hi All,
Well I'm back because I was thinking of ordering some more pills and when I went to the website there was nothing allowing me to place the actual order. As I was reading the comments above I noticed that the pills have changed names. Does anyone know why the company changed the name of the pills? It seems alittle scary to me, especially since there was no mention of the change on the website, or even a redirect to the new website....I kinda makes me think that there is something wrong with the pills and in order to escape liability, the company went and created a new package, new name, new website, etc....Don't get me wrong, the pills actually worked (thats why I back). I lost about 25 pounds and dropped a pants size in 3 months with no diet or exercise, but it's just a little strange. Doees anyone know what the deal is with that amd has anyone tried the new pills yet? Did you notice any difference? |

I did order thenew pills, and they seem the same to me. I was just actually on yahoo, and It was voted one of the top 10 pillls. It seems like nothing changed except the name, and the rep awhile back told me why, and I do not remember the reasoning. |

Congratulations Chels! I, too, lost about 28 pounds and felt great. I ran out of the Leptitrex and didn't order more cause of the whole name change thing. I've gained about 5 pounds back and notice more fat. I'm about to order 3 bottles of Leptorexin. Gotta get back on it and get feeling and looking great again ::) |

I just started Leptorexin today. I bought 3 bottles in advance. I'm really hoping that I see some results. I can't find many real reviews from real people on Leptorexin. I did feel a very mild hot sensation in my throat after taking the pills, but it went away immediately with some yogurt.
Is it really removing fat in the first week, or just water weight? Is there anyone who hasn't changed their diet and still have lost on this program? I plan on changing some of my eating habits anyway, but I'm curious. I have about 30 lbs to lose (ultimate goal), though I would be happy with 15 lbs. I'm just hoping its fat that's lost and not muscle and water. |

Even if I don't lose weight or fat with this pill, some of the "side effects" are really nice. On day one, I had a headache (I have mild to really bad headaches every day, its just how I am) and after taking the Leptorexin, the headache went away. Usually the only thing that works on my headaches is Excedrin Migraine but that tears up my stomach and I figure, I'd rather have the stomach pain than the headache. The Leptorexin didn't bother my stomach at all and cleared up the headache.
Also, I feel natually energized, rather than chemically energized. I don't feel jittery, just more refreshed. In regards to Roxy's comment about it making you feel a little randy...yeah, I'm getting that.
I'm wondering if anybody else posts here anymore or if all have given up for some reason? |
