Kathy I am not exactly sure why I hate calorie counting.....but, I always seems to stress more about running out of calories and then feeling more failure or something and as a result ending up eating more. As I have been studying more and more about Attention Deficit Disorder, with respect to the possibility that my youngest may benefit from an ADD assessment, I have seen myself. I think that I too am ADD. There have recently been some studies done around issues with ADD and weight. It is very interesting and I think that may very well contribute to my difficulties in losing weight. I think it may contribute to the reason I originally put all of this weight on in the first place.
I won't be on for over a week. Tomorrow I pack and then leave 1st thing Thursday. I haven't done well for a few days.....this is another occasion where I had hoped to lose some weight before we left and I haven't. In view of another disappointing failure I have had a melt down and given up. I will start again but I think I may have other things to add to my approach next time.
Best wishes to you all. Is your MIL out of intensive care now K10. |

Bronwyn, put a smile on your face! At least you give a darn and heave spent your life in pursuit of better health for you and your family. There are millions of people who can't say that. I was certainly one of them when I was smoking all those cigarettes. So don't be down on yourself...you don't deserve it. Some people can eat anything and not gain a pound. They usually keel over from a a heart attack at some point. But you will not. You may be a rounder version of who you want to be, but you are a conscientious nutritionally minded person and health is more important than body type.
Ok, maybe your only solution is eat less, move more. So be it. Don't give up on finding an exercise that you can do. We can challenge each other to do it. I can't stand the idea of counting calories, your not alone there either. I just wont do it. I do need to exercise though. I may be a size 10, but it all looks droopy and sad and untoned. But I feel good everyday that I ate well and smart and I fixed it for my family too. It's like we are all in on one of life's great secrets. One of the secrets to good health...is there any way to measure that?
Be proud woman...you grind your own stuff (I can't remember what it was)! You are a true pioneer when it comes to extracting every health thing there is to get from food. I'm such a newbie. I have 20 years of fruit loops and chips ahoy's holding me together. I can't believe when they did my colonoscopy they didn't tell me I was rotted out. I've wasted so many years eating junk when you've been eating the best nature has to offer. When you get back you can try again. Eventually you'll get it right. In the meantime, have a safe trip and keep smiling. |

I hope you get to read this before you leave Bronwyn because you've really got me going. Your current weight should not dictate your level of happiness. Sure, easy to say. But it's true and you should work on that. Today on my homepage there was an article on diet myths. I believe the author was from self magazine. Anyway, it was very interesting and called for whole grains. Immediately I registered "no no" in my mind, but it always makes me think about the "why" of our eating plan. We have eliminated flours and sugars because of what it does to our blood sugar levels, and in turn, the cravings they cause. I know you get frustrated with the scales. But what if you thought of flour and sugar as killers? You are so health conscious, if you thought they were really doing harm I know you would give them up. Of course they are not killers...at least for people without weight issues. But for us? I guess that's where the bmi stuff comes in. And that brings us back to calories and intake and energy expended and so on. It doesn't help that your an amazing cook and spend a lot of time in the kitchen. You are going to need to stick to the plan, stay out of the kitchen, watch how much you eat and try and exercise! No wonder your stuck...we are talking a total life overhaul. Not an easy thing to do. While your gone think about it. It can be done. When I quit smoking I had to do EVERYTHING different. I couldn't sit and pay bill without wanting to light up. I had to stand up and move around to do them. I had to do everything with so much effort it wore me out. But it can be done. One day at a time. The first step back into "the old way" is the beginning of the end. THINK! Your a smart woman...get a plan. And again, have a safe and fun trip! |

Hi Ladies:
Bronwyn: we will miss you while you are gone.
Connie: I loved your insight.
My mil may come out of ICU tomorrow. My bro-in-law arrived today, my husbands twin. He has been out of work for some time now and lives at my in-laws. He is probably moving in with us. We live in an area that has many more job opportunities and this house we live in now is ideal for having someone stay.
The fourth bedroom has a large sitting area with a chair, sofa and big screen tv, it has it's own bathroom and a bedroom area. It is like an open area except for the bathroom of course. My kids are fine with him moving in. He has lived with my in-laws off and on the last while because he was working on a cruise ship.
God worked it out for him to be out of work at this time while my mil had her heart attack in May and now we have this home that he could live in and help us with bills. He has been married once, but that ended in divorce. Thankfully no kids involved.
He has a lot of weight to lose and we are hoping he can be influenced to eat like this. The three of us went walking after dinner. We walked down the hill and up, up, up the other. We are going the other way tomorrow. I believe his love language is service and gift giving. He loves to cook and contribute to the home.
Thank you all for your concern. Youngest is feeling better. I am glad.
Talk to you tomorrow.

I have a statement I guess. I know we discussed this before that Cream of Wheat/ Farina shouldn't be consumed. I know they used to be considered core on the WW program before. I always at healthily when I ate this cereal and I didn't have my gas problem like wih other cereal. Also I don't understand why couscous isn't good for us either, that is another core food on WW. I think I may decide to eat those two things that I know didn't cause me to have issues before and are happier inside my body, if you know what I mean?
What do you think? I need some cereal other that shredded wheat and oatmeal. I really like Cream of Wheat too. |

Connie - you go girl - you should be a motivational speaker! You inspired me. I know that getting to a certain weight won't make me happier. But I will be healthier - and if I'm healthier, I will feel better about myself - and that bleeds into everything. I know I dont' go to things and see some people because I am fat. I know I think people won't like me because I am fat. I avoid pictures, stand certain ways etc. - it effects a lot in my life. I will be happier when those things are gone. I will feel more confident. That is why I like to run. It gives me a sense of enpowerment. Like running a race. I love that feeling at the end. Weight doesn't matter at that moment when I cross the line.
Anyway - I need a cereal suggestion. I bought the Kashi Go lean - but the second ingredient is Cane Sugar. Bummer |

K10, is there flour or sugar in the ingredients list on cream of wheat? I googled it but could not find flour anywhere. If there is no flour, your good to go. Ground wheat is ok. It sounds like your home situation is going to be great.
Hilda, I microwave the lightly salted ones. I put three on a plate, top with cheese and microwave for 30 seconds. They sometimes can get rubbery, so 30 seconds is all I do. Then I put some salsa on top. Yum!

Connie: I know a while ago we all checked into this. I think it technically is a flour, but it isn't like I can overeat on it like other things made with flour. I just can't eat oatmeal and eggs everyday for breakfast, so I am going to make a judgement call here and eat it sometimes. Something I just read said it can be used like polenta, which we are allowed to have. I am eating eat so there. I also ate late, darn two nights in a row. It was NFNS at least.

K10, I can't think of why you can't have those foods. Is the word "flour" in the ingredient list? I finally got my NFNS book back and under "grains and cereals" it says;
Whole grain breakfast cereals that don't list flour or sugar in their ingredients Oatmeal Rice Barley Quinoa Bulgar Polenta Corn tortillas (made with corn rather than corn flour)
Meal, as opposed to flour, is allowed. |

Connie thanks for your kind words.
lots to do today.
K10 cous cous is made from flour but the whole wheat cous cous is so high in fibre that I think it is a good choice....or you could use quinoa in place of the cous cous. I don't think cream of wheat is a problem....it is more processed than if you were to just cook the wheat berry itself and use it as a cereal. I would not worry about a porridge,,,,,I think you are good with that. Some pastas (maybe most) are made from semolina flour.....maybe that was the confusion. I think we once debated semolina but I dont' remember the cream of wheat debate. Cream of wheat with fresh sliced peaches would be almost a dessert. I also think that it is important to not get bored with the food and get sick of eating the same thing repeatedly. Eat cream of wheat!!!! Cream of wheat is not any more processed than polenta.
I hate getting ready to go away.....I just want to go......not organize and so forth..... |

K10....FYI:
1 GO FOR WHOLE GRAIN. Whole grains are rich in phytochemicals, which may help cut the risk of cancer and heart disease. And they're naturally rich in magnesium and potassium, which may help keep blood pressure in check.
Nearly all hot cereals--including oatmeal--are whole-grain. Exceptions: cream of wheat, cream of rice, and grits.

Another suggestion:
UNSWEETENED, UNSPOILED.
Best Bite Wheatena's mix of wheat bran, wheat germ, and toasted crushed wheat has more fiber (and more flavor) than many other whole-wheat or oat cereals. And its added calcium (20 percent of a day's worth) comes in handy if you don't take a calcium supplement. Like most unsweetened cereals, Wheatena takes only two minutes to cook in the microwave (or four or five minutes on the stove). Exception: Kashi Breakfast Pilaf, a delicious blend of seven whole grains plus sesame seeds, takes half an hour (unless you cook it ahead of time and reheat it in the morning).

Absolutely no doubt that I am procrastinating and side tracked
Kashi Pilaf, our original blend of minimally processed raw Seven Whole Grains and Sesame, offers nutrient-dense, complex carbohydrates, protein, and fiber without the sodium, cholesterol, or fat common to most protein sources. It’s easy to cook up a hearty hot breakfast, side dish, or vegetarian main meal by adding your favorite ingredients.

What brand of cottage cheese do you buy? Do you mix it with the rice? I went to WalMart today and found the Garlic and Herb Laughing Cow cheese. I had never found any flavor but the Swiss before. I love that Swiss on a rice cake. I had the Garlic and herb spread on a lightly salted rice cake with one slice of Canadian bacon on top. I think it would be good for breakfast. Connie:How much cottage cheese to rice do you put in?
My oldest is getting a perm today. Grandma is helping pay for it. She has wanted one for years. I have been praying it turns out nicely. She wanted to do it before school starts on Monday. She wants it wavy. I told her she is really from the 80's. She is my clone, especially in personality.
They only had instant whole grain Cream of Wheat. I did buy it though. I prefer the cooked one. I will see if I can find it at other stores. I bought it at our Wal Mart Supercenter.
So yesterday, I wrote a check out for $1019.09 to get my car out of the shop. First my ATM was declined because it was over $600.00. Then I called and they freed up money, but it still wasn't working. I went to the bank and they said I would have to pay for a cashiers check. Nope, not paying for my cash and they could only give me $500.00. I went back to the car place and the charge went through. He let me leave and come back in my car so we could eat and try and get money.
Ok ladies, it gets worse. I went for an orthodontist evaluation for my youngest. She is missing 3 permanent teeth and 2 of them are her upper laterals so it will have to be precise treatment. $4400.00 estimate. We have messed up credit now, so I don't know what we are going to do. On my way to the orthodontist I smelled something and my temp gauge went up a little bit. I then ran an errand to Trader Joe's and when I pulled up I thought my car sounded funny, but it stopped making the sound. While at TJ's I had to write a check because my ATM was declined. I called the credit union and they said to use it as credit and it will work. I then went to Petsmart and bought dogfood and my card was declined as credit. I used another card to purchase. I called the credit union again and they said they would figure out what was going on and it was probably because of the large purchase. Supposedly it is fixed now.
Here comes the kicker, my car started making a funny sound. I called the repair guy and he came and of course it wasn't making the same sound, but the fan in the engine was wobbling while it was spinning. He followed me back to the shop, which was closeby. We then noticed that the fan in the front of the engine, there are 2, this one is closest to the front, wasn't moving and then it finally started to move. I had my brother in law come get me, thank God he was staying here and now my husband just called and said the fan assembly will cost $900.
I am in shock. I don't know what to do. We are probably going to have to do a Chapter 7 bancruptcy and we are thinking about including the car in it. I know bancruptcy is wrong but we don't know what else to do. I think maybe we might just keep it though after putting all this money into it. My brother in law keeps reminding me that we could be worse off, which I know is true, but I am hating my car right now. Thank the LORD I have my hubbies car and he is using a company car for right now.
The guy at the shop said I was sure handling things well under the circumstances. I guess I am glad for that. I still have to buy the girls tennis shoes for P.E. If I was a drinker I sure would want one now, I bet.
Sorry this was so long, but I had to vent.

Jeez...the last 24 hours have been rough for everyone! Debbie, I would absolutely look into harassment charges. Do contact the magazine companies. Those people are obviously unbalanced and I would want someone in authority to know trouble is brewing. If you could prove that they ordered the magazines, you could win a case against them. A fine might make them back down. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in favor of suing people per se, but this involves children and that should not go unchecked. Good luck.
K10, when it rains, it pours. You and Job, taking the hits one right after another! Unfortunately, the orthodontist work is going to have to wait. If I were you I would try and find a few housecleaning jobs. Just a couple of days a week, it could really help. I did it for so many years because it allowed me huge flexibility to deal with kids and earn an income. It didn't make me rich, but it bought a lot of stuff.
My ex-stepmother is trying to cause trouble in our family. She is very vindictive and angry right now. But also she is beaten down (by her own actions) and desperate. I can't help but feel sorry for her. I'm really struggling with myself over it. There's really nothing I can do to help her but I'm thinking of contacting someone in her family and trying to get her some help. I don't know. |

They told me there is a lot of options as he grows to fill it in temporarily until he is big enough to go permanent. Also, we have certainly been where we were in over our heads financially. We took a course by Dave Ramsey that really helped us. It was offered at our church. IT gives you step by step how to get back in the black. It really helped us.

I'm still packing my five extra pounds, it may be six or seven even. I have not been motivated to do anything about it. My daughter leaves for the dorm next week and I think when she's gone I'll get back to eating better. Why that is, I don't know. I think she is disruptive to the whole "cooking" thing. She doesn't cook...but she's in my way? It's weird. Anyway, I just have a feeling it will seem more normal for her to be gone and I'll get back on track. The rice and cottage cheese the other night was so good. I'll start having that more. When I got my book out the other day I noticed Dr Gott certainly does recommend low fat and no fat items. I really haven't been good when it comes to fat. Hmmm. Maybe that's why I shake like a bowl full of jelly! And exercise of course. My sister wants me in MI to have some blueberry pie. I told her it would make me fat. She said she would make me walk it off, and she would too! That's what I need, an exercise buddy.
K10, I hope everything comes together for you quickly. Look around you and be thankful...the rest will come.
I got up early this morning and went to traffic court with my friend. I got up at 6:15! Good grief! I don't even start sleeping good until around 3. "But baby, I'm so tired!!!!" I think my husband is tired of watching me lay around...but I'm having a great hair day and that holds weight with him. It's like he wants to say something but I look too cute. Don't get me wrong, I have really good hair days very rarely. Usually I don't even wear makeup. I've got to work it while I can! Later ladies.

I spent the afternoon helping clean out my granddaughter's room. We threw away 4 bags of trash and most of it was under the bed. Got one full bag of clothes and toys to pass down to her younger cousins. Organized her closet and she did a fashion show of what she was going to wear with what. Her mom and her did most of the work. I was mostly there to motiviate. A fun afternoon. |

I would like school lunch suggestions for teenagers. One likes sandwiches and the other likes salads. I need ideas for side dishes too. They will be drinking water. I was including string cheese and an ounce or so of nuts. I would weigh the nuts and put them in little baggies. I did buy baked chips for them even with flour. I didn't want to buy the Cheetos with the hydrogenated oils in them.
Good night ladies.

There is not any bussing for the kids. I guess there used to be for the middle school, but that was stopped due to the horrible budget crisis in California. Education always seems to suffer in California.
I will let you know how this day goes later. We are all just starting to get up. |

Madmen was good, but it didn't seem to flow good from the last episode I saw. I may not have seen the very last one of last season. My son ordered the 2 seasons on blue ray from amazon, so I'll be completely caught up before the next show. I love that show...so far.
Confession time, I had a little fudge, but then a super light dinner.

boy, take the weekend off and miss everything! K10 I loved the Dave Ramsey course - highly recommend it. Good sound advice on all aspects of money. Even tell you how to budget if you are in the red monthly. He is funny too - so it's entertaining.
I am down to 204.6. Can't wait untill I pass that magic threshold into the 100's again. It's been a while. It is working well for me. Seems to be falling off - rather quickly. I'm sure that will slow down. My husband has lost 18 lbs - makes me sick but I'm used to it. He can gain and lose weight faster than I can even consider a diet. Anyway it's nice that he is in it with me.
My poor son has to lose 3 1/2 lbs to make weight for football. He is worried he won't make it - he has been with this team for three years. He is cutting down and moving more - fingers crossed. I checked with his doctor and he says he has it to lose - so we have two weeks. Yikes
I made my breakfast loaves - they are in the oven now, I'll let you know how they turn out. I made blueberry. It's just berries, eggs, powdered milk, and whole oats. We'll see.
School starts for us next week. I'm excited for fall, football and schedules again. Summer was fun but I'm always ready for fall.
I will look for the lunch ideas too. I'm committed to packing healthy lunches this year (as I did last year) but would love some new ideas - kids get sick of the same old thing each day.
Have a great day! |

The girls did fine at school, the worse part of the day is drop off and pick up. So many people. Youngests school only has one way in and out and it is crazy.

We successfully launched the kids th9is morning. They all got on busses and away they went with lunches and back packs in hand. I spent an hour getting the kitchen cleaned up and started the laundry. Its so nice and quiet here. I listen to a Christian radio station and thats playing now. In a little while a couple talk programs will come on that are always so up lifting and inspiring. I'm planning to listen to those when ever possible while doing house work. Have a great day y'all! |

Focus on the Family is always good. I need to find a Christian talk radio station that plays in this area. I will have to check to see if it is the same as to the one where I used to live.
My girls are thinking about eating cereal in the car on their way to school, so they don't have to get up so early. We are probably going to be leaving before 7. Traffic is so bad at the schools. I am not used to this, having to drive so far and not knowing all the tricks of the area.
How do I find a NFNS cereal my kids will eat? Answer: I don't. I am sending them off with multigrain Cheerios and milk. They do have sugar, but not like other cereals they used to eat. 6 grams of sugar. Regular Cheerios has 1 gram. Maybe when these multigrain ones are gone I will give them the regular ones.
Bye for now. |

breakfast loaf - it is 2 eggs scrambled, 1/2 c. oatmeal(I use whole grain oats), 1/3 c. dry milk and 6 oz. of blueberries, mix and put in a miniloaf pan sprayed with Pam for 35 min. at 350. I doubled it,, made one with blueberries and one with raspberries. I figure the whole loaf is 500 calories (not sure though) so I ate half. It was really yummy and well balanced. I would suggest adding some lemon zest, will do that next time.
I too like the Focus on the family. We have a great Christian radio station here - my kids will even listen to it.
Still NFNS - had a few tempations but resisted. I feel really good today. I really thinks it takes two weeks for your body to adjust. Maybe longer - but I feel healthier today. We get teacher assignments today my kids are all a flutter. They just left with our summer babysitter for a movie then the pool. I told them they couldn't sit around waitig - they would go crazy (as would I).
Hope to run today. Just found out my conference call is ending early - which will give me time to run. Nice. Thanks God.
Hope everyone has a super day.

Morning. We have been busy here, my mother in law went into the hospital last night...we should learn something today. My husband didn't get home until 2 am so we are all kind of dragging this morning. So far they found she is low on magnesium. She got bit on her face a week ago, went to the doc and has been taking a strong antihistamine, something for pain and they gave her a steroid shot. It is possible she just started sleeping around the clock and naturally became dehydrated. Today should be interesting.
I have a dentist appt, cleaning, today. Last night was so crazy...I ate pizza. I was unprepared for all the activity of people coming and going. I had a nice NFNS dinner planned, but those plans fell apart. So tonight NFNS.
How did the lunch food ideas go? Glad all the little ones made back to school. Mine goes next week. |

Ran 3.2 miles and really ran them, felt like a runner today, for the first time in a long time. I've been waiting for the day that it would get a little easier and it just did. NFNS for two weeks and two days.

I went on a walk around the neighborhood today. My neighborhood is hilly. I will drive the route I took and let you know how far I went. Down hill to start with and of course, had to end going up hill. I know I will feel it tomorrow. I am just really glad I found my way home. :)

good for you K10. I know you can freeze them. I put them in my fridge - cuz I knew I would eat them sooner rather than later. Wasn't I just saying how when it rains it pours? I'm getting some of that! My son was working in Arkansas today and his truck broke down. My husband went to get him and they still could not get it running. They are on their way back here now, about a 2 hour drive, and then tomorrow son and daughter are going to go put it on something and bring it home. That's after I go with daughter to traffic court in the morning. We have to be there at 7 am. Full hair and makeup and out the door by 6:10. Say a prayer for me too ladies. I am so challenged early in the morning.
My mil is better. She has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, very early stages. She is hydrated and taking magnesium pills. Of course she is resting a lot and because of that she is feeling better. She is 86 this year. I spent three hours with her today and I honestly don't know if she'll recover to her old self. She just seems so aged and her color is not so great. I called her a little bit ago and they were bringing her some ice cream. She is a diabetic. I don't know if the ice cream is sugar free and I don't care. Let her have it. I think I'm in for another "life shift." If she stays with us her life will be different, she is going to need lot's of help. If she goes it will be another loss. We all have them, it just takes time to adjust. |

Hi ladies. Who was anonymous?
Could you make cheesecake with Splenda??? Just don't have a crust. You could add fresh fruit to the top. Let us know what you find out regarding this?
I weighed today, because last night I was going to wear a pair of jeans that fit fine recently and they were too tight. I have lost 2.5 pounds since the 3rd of August. I'll take that.
I don't know when I will weigh again, but I know I have been snacking too much.
Sherri: I was wonder if you could make the loaves with sausage or bacon and some cheese instead of fruit to make it more savory????? What do you think?
I just paid 100 dollars so I don't have to waste time driving (2.5 miles in the morning and another 2.5 miles in the afternoon) to drop off or pick up my daughter. I will be having her take a shuttle/bus that the school is providing. I think it will pay for itself in saved gas. You can only go 25 mph on the road and it is stop and go when you are moving. I hope it is worth it. Another concern is there are so many kids walking in the parking lot and riding their bikes (without helmets) that I don't want to have to deal with the guilt of hitting someone or my car getting hit by someone.
Connie: How is your day?
I will talk to you all later. |

Another busy day for me. I'm headed to the hospital in a little bit to sit with my mil. I really understand what you all are saying about the difficulties involved with NFNS. It's like all the planets have to align for it to happen! Anything out of the ordinary in our lives can leave us vulnerable. My spending time at the hospital is not conductive to eating right. Then, I'm not home so much, so food around here is harder to control. Since the food industry as a whole is not supportive of healthy eating, any quick solutions are forbidden. Today I'll do the best I can. I'll take some cashews with me and hopefully be home in time to make a decent meal.
Great day all. I'll check in later. |

Debbie: Sorry about the financial distress, I feel your pain. I went by my old house yesterday and we finally had a foreclosure notice on the door. Reality is settling in. I just want it done and over with.
Connie: It is so hard to stay NFNS when your life has things going on. I guess we can just do the best we can.
I was not NFNS last night. I went to Olive Garden with my dear friend. She is the one I moved away from and I really miss. I only had one breadstick, but I think the Krispy Kreme donut I had on my way home last night took care of any hope that I had of feeling halfway alright with the one breadstick. We didn't get a pasta dish. We shared these grilled steak and chicken kabobs with potatoes. The salad was good and I am sure their Italian dressing has sugar in it.
I just ate some cereal called Alpen no added sugar, naturally delicious muesli cereal. It has all organic rolled oats, whole wheat, raisins, pearled barley, roasted hazelnuts, skim milk powder, sliced almonds and malt extract. It also has the various added vitamins. I hope my tummy handles it ok. Of course, it wasn't cheap, but cereal never is.
It was fine. It says you can heat it too. I found the non-instant whole wheat cream of wheat. I am happy about that.
I think I am going to make Nikki's cookies today. I have some bananas that are ready to be tossed.
Have a great day all. |

I am not on a high horse only being 2 1/2 weeks NFNS - just trying to encourage you.
Debbie - just keep swimming, just keep swimming....
Not sure on the bacon and cheese to the loaf - suppose you could just try it. I think you should add lemon zest if you do a fruit one. They are nice as a quick meal. A good, well-balanced option.
I need to go to the Y today - but not feeling like it AT ALL. Will try to go inspite of my what my head is telling me. (stay home, cool and dry in here... take a nap... hang with your kids... one day won't hurt...) URGH!! |

I agree about the body not wanting it after it's been gone for a while. IT does make a difference. I have cottage cheese with chopped tomato for breakfast/lunch. For supper I'm makinf a hamburger soup. Like stew without the chunks og beef. Ground beef instead. Do you think it would be ok to put in chicken stock, instead of beef stock? I'm out of beef. The usual onion carrots, potatoes.
That steak/chicken cabob sounds wonfderful. Good job staying away from the pasta Kristin. Sorry about the sign on your house. Moving on is hard but nessesary. Keep on swimming....

I made some Nikki's cookies using peanut butter instead of the coconut oil, they taste pretty good. I think they could use more peanut butter even. I didn't put cinnamon in either and I left out the coconut.
I figured the chicken broth would work out ok because it is mild. Beef probably would just accentuate the beef in the soup.
I just was told by my husband that we are going to have to pay another 1300 dollars on our @!#$#%^&&** car. I cried. I have only cried once over our house and now I cried over this stupid car. I am so mad.
I didn't really want to have the sunroof looked at, but my husband said we should that we could have problems with it leaking and such. Well, the little parts that we need can only be sold as a package with the track from BMW. The used parts are 400 and I think new, its something crazy like 900. I will never buy another BMW. We bought it used and we had a neighbor who had-had a couple over the years and they lasted a long time. I am very disappointed to say the least and now our mechanic (who we have usually used) said that we were ripped off at the other shop. To top it off, it is a customer of my husbands and he doesn't want to say anything to the guy because of that. I am really upset to say the least. I didn't even want to do anything more on the car and just be done with it, but hubby made this decision and now I am frustrated to no end about it. Can you tell?
UUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take care all. |
