alright, so thank the good lord, i was down 2.5 pounds today. i was armed with a box of chocolate chip cookies to smother my sorrows if the scales had stayed the same! so once again, i've eaten well today, thanks to the weight loss, and am hoping to keep it up until next week when the family goes away. i'm trying to not be too hard on myself since i do have my cycle this week, and if i haven't cheated with that, then i'm doing good!!! have a great weekend everyone.

A little background. A year ago I weighed 300lbs. I started excercising daily for about an hour a day. After 3 months I dropped 10 lbs, then I hit the wall. It seemed the more I excercised the hungrier I got. Don't get me wrong I feel good, strong, albeit overweight. But excercise alone wasn't cutting it. Anyway after all the work another 9 months later I had lost only another 5 lbs...285. I started Orovo 2 weeks ago. The 1st week I lost 5 lbs!!! I blew off the instructions and continued taking it into week 2 ...and lost nothing until days 6 and 7...2 lbs more, now 278. Side effects, seem to be gas, and more bowel movements than normal. It seems to have a mild laxitive effect. I drink a lot of coffee so if there is a stimulant involved I don't really notice it. My suspicion is that the pills are the equivelent of a week long enema, and that might explain the rapid initial weight loss, followed by nothing. Maybe that's why they want you to take a week off in between, because after the 1st week I seem pretty well cleaned out. Does it work? Yes and No. No = I think the a good laxative might mimic the quick initial weight loss. Yes = I think it does help supress my appetite, and it does make me more thirsty. Eating less and drinking more water would be good things. I'm not usually real good about drinking the water I should. I'm going to try to follow the instructions and take a week off, maybe I'll use something else on the off week like hydroxcut ( That does give me a caffeine headachee). I should also note that during the 2 week / 7lb loss I fell off the excercise wagon. I broke my bicycle, and had an ankle injury that kind of banged up my excercise during that period. I might have done better if that hadn't happened. I think I'll go the distance with Orovo and see what happens.

I just have to say I'm so happy!!!,... i had a bad cold, had to stop taking orovo due to penicillin, but started again after the medication was over. its been about 1 1/2 months taking orovo detox, its amazing!!! no diet, just eat regularly, havent had any side effects other than light bloating, but almost nothing, and i've lost a total of 24 lbs. i was at 250, i got on the scale at the hospital last thursday (went in to translate) and to my surprise i weighed 226!!! This week alone about 6 people have complimented me on my weight loss, i had to buy new smaller size pants, i will keep taking it till i reach 190 lbs. Good luck every one!!! |

One thing that i am doing that seems to help is taking orovo with green tea rather than water, i buy the mixed one, ready to drink in a gallon bottle, i might get a little shakey, but nohing to worry about, it stops as soon as i eat (after the 30 minutes that i have to wait of course). |

Hi to all of you out there.I am waiting for my first shipment of orovo detox. I am not really overweight but I have somehow gained inches around my waist.I eat healthy and workout five days a week, a combination of cardio and weights.I am 5feet 3in. tall and weigh 124lbs.I used to be 118lbs. just a few months ago. This extra weight has come from nowhere and wont budge no matter how hard I try. So i thought of giving orovo a try.I will really really appreciate any kind of input.Thanks. |

I wouldnt have ordered these had it not been for this site. Keep the updates coming! Nice to know what to possibly expect! Keeping my fingers crossed! Sorry I have been MIA for a while, but yes, I am here and for the most part, everything is going well. I ate like crap all last week but only gained back 1 pound. With everything that has been going on, (female issues, Dr's appointments, getting my oldest son ready to have his first surgery on the 19th, some weird head/neck pain I have been experiencing...) I have gotten a bit off track. But, all the same, I'm still tired of being fat. I am determined to shed the extra...
I also decided to either send back/sell my OD. I don't feel like it is worth it for me to try... I also don't want to eat that $57 bucks I spent on it either!!!
KRKR - Thanks for thinking of me! I've been wondering about your success, too! Congrats on the 2 pound loss! That's great!! Keep it up! :)

i just came across ortho detox when researching for alli. first let me say that took alli for a month and seemed to lose about 3 lbs. i've taken hydroxycut, lipozene, hot rox, xenodrine, hoodia, pure ephedra, and lipo 6.. none have ever worked for me. most made me feel jittery or nauseous while others seemed to have no effect at all. at 5'2" my highest weight was 187 lbs and i managed to get down to 128 after that. about 40 lbs of this loss was from the atkins diet and playing tennis. atkins took most of my muscle instead of fat and i was tired of eating mostly eggs, meat and cheese. when i went off atkins i went off to college, which is where i got down to 128 (prbly since my parents both cook so well and i wasn't used to cafeteria food)..
anyway, i got up to 145 by the time my four years in college were up, and a year later i had gained weight, settling at about 152. i started a hardcore calorie cutback and ate about 1200 calories a day (trying to keep fat intake below 15%). i also bought an elliptical and worked out for about an hour a day with 1200 calories for 3 months straight with only a 2 lbs weight loss..
i decided to see an endocrinologist who specialized in metabolism. found out i have PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome). basically means that i have an insulin resistance that makes it harder to lose or maintain weight, as well as a list of other stuff that aren't weight-related. my doctor actually told me that some diets will make you gain weight when you have an insulin resistance. he said the best thing for me to do is eat mostly veggies and if i wanted to try a diet, that sugar busters was the best one out there for me, since i have PCOS. sugar busters is basically eating foods with a low glycemic load.. hard for me to do. he also put me on metformin, which is used by diabetics as well as those with PCOS.. at a lower dosage than most people (500mg/twice a day) i've managed to lose about 10 lbs i started... but now its so stubborn!
i'm now at a standstill wavering at about 141 lbs.. i also have a cardiologist (i have a heart murmur) who told me my ideal weight was 115. keep in mind i'm short.. at even at my height of 5'2" i still think this is on the low end. my goal is 125.. and i'm hoping that ortho detox can help me lose those last 15 lbs or so.
it seems most of the ingredients are natural (which is good.. i try to keep everything i consume natural, if not organic), and its rated 9.7/10 for safety. anyone else on meds for diabetes that has tried ortho? how are the results?
i go back to the endocrinologist tomorrow, so i will ask him if there will be any interaction with the metformin i'm currently taking.. if not, then i'll buy some and come back to track things.
thanks for all the success stories! sorry for the long post! |

redphoenixca2006: Absolutley ! I'm anxious to hear all about it .... I'm doing the Oxegen AKG shakes, its almost 2 weeks and I don't feel any thinner. I had to stop working out because I have a pinched nerve in my back causing pain in my arm and a few of my fingers are numb. This is the second week without working out and I am really scared to get on the scale after my 2 weeks on the shake. I think I am going to start back working out tomorrow, the hell with the pinched nerve...
jennycakes: my daughter was diagnosed with PCOS and was unable to tolerate taking Birth Control Pills, which is the "cure".... the only other treatment is diet, which she succesfully did; she was about 140# and got down to 124# by doing low carb and low glycemic carbs and resuming runnning every day. Her periods came back and she lost her "buffalo hump" ( that fat pad on the back of your neck that is indicative of PCOS ). She would die if she knew I was sharing this on a blog !! Ah the joys of staying anonymous,; but are we really ? Anywhoo,,, she didn't have to go on metformin or anything else, because her case was really mild, no problems with too much hair growth or out of control acne, her hormone levels and sugar/insulin levels were within normal range....Good luck to you ! |

Okay so I use to be a regular on this orovo blog and I was the one that gained 3 pounds on orovo with NO loss. I excersized everyday at the gym and ate a 1200 cal diet. Dont ask me how it happened but YES I gained waight while being really good. Anyways I decided to try Nutrisystem and the first week I lost 4 pounds and the second week i lost 3 pounds and the third week i lost 3 pounds. I lost 10 pounds in three weeks and I feel fantastic, energized and healthy and cannot wait to see how much I lose in this week ( My 4th week ) . Thank goodness for nutrisystem, its NOT all pre-made food you do have to add in alot of grocery foods also, but still the cheapest for weight plans around., and You can order it on-line and it gets delivered right to your door and the blogs and chats on there are super supportive. I just wanted to come back on this site and share with you all what worked, It really does work and its healthy. Good luck, check it out on-line. P.S Alot of people lose more weight there first three weeks than I did, It all depends on how much you have to lose, I only have ten more pounds to go to get to what my weight should be 150. Hope this blog helped someone,. |

I'm 18, 155 pounds and 5'4. I used to be around 125, gained weight.. lost weight. and gained it again. after I finished high school, I didn't really have motivation to do anything so now I'm up to 155! I wanted to lose some weight, I've tried a few different diet pills because I have no time to work out with work and other activities. did lots of research and orovo seemed to be working pretty well for everybody. this is my third day on orovo detox, I also got the 7DFB which I'll start on my 'off' week. anyway - it has me feeling really antsy, I drink a lot of water, but it makes me really hungry. I don't have a lot of time to eat and snack during the day because I have so much going on, I thought it would help curb my appetite a bit more than it does. I'm now trying taking orovo and also some left over hoodia pills & it's definitely working a lot better for me. scale said I lost 7 pounds yesterday, which must have been water weight from all the peeing, 'cause today I'm only down 2 pounds. I'm excited for the results in a week or so, I am sooooo ready to be thin again :)
question: I don't have time to work out. except running to the tanning salon and back, I know exercising will definitely produce better results, but is anybody NOT exercising and still losing weight? |

Hey, I have read most of your posts. Biohunter, you are just my favorite person. With that said, I have been taking Orovo detox for almost a month as well as finishing the 7dfb. I exercised, ate right, and still fat. I tried Atro-phex to keep me awake and not eat so much, It sort of works, but I feel like a junkie losing my mind. The Liponesta works for the sleep aide, but as I stated, I'm still fat. My friends say I'm not, but when you can grab a handful of your back, damn it, I have back fat, a gut that just hangs there reminding me everyday that I am just gross. I don't see anything wrong with anyone larger than me, I still see they are so much more beautiful than I can every be. Everyone else can carry it better.I would hide in a cave if I didn't have so many people depending on me for their survival. I can't take care of myself or look like a pretty woman in the mirror. I can't see what anyone says they see. I know I sound crazy, I'm not like 10lbs with my finger down my throat and men falling for me. I really am just plain and frumpy and plumpy in all the wrong spots. I am so grateful that my daughter will never suffer as I do. I read up on apidexin will try that one and fenphedra. This stuff will probably kill me, but I'd rather be thin and miserable than fat and miserable. I'll keep ordering the liponesta, I do sleep. Insomnia is another issue I have. |

It has taken me two days to read everyones comments! I am on the beggining of day two. Yesterday I did feel a little weird. Than I would drink some more water (which I am really terrible at)-would feel better. I did not get the jitters just a little headache. I am not hungry, have to force myself to eat. Didn't want to eat supper last night but my son fixed it (he's 12) and begged me to try it! I did grab a little plate. Has anyone out there had to make themselves eat? I have tried lots of diets and feel like I need to diet from the diets. I did do the divorce diet about 9 years ago and lost 89 pounds. Looked great, felt great and kept it off for 6 years!!! My new husband and his son have me soooooo stressed that the weight of 50 lbs have jumped on me! Not sure if I want the divorce diet right now, so I am giving OD a try. (It's a little cheaper!!! lol) Haven't weighed my self, didn't plan on it just wanted to see the difference of the way my clothes fit. By reading what everyone had said, I will weigh myself tomorrow morning! Thanks everyone - this is a great page! |

Patriot: luckily, I don't have the "buffalo hump", but I do have high levels of androgens (mainly testosterone), hair, acne, and severely irregular periods... The acne and weight loss have dramatically improved since I started on metformin though.. And my doctor told me to stay away from birth control unless I absolutely needed it to prevent pregnancy... It apparently just masks the symptoms, and the metformin works to reduce symptoms and try to normalize hormone levels and whatnot.. So its about all I can do...
Anyway, I didn't think of this, but does anyone know if the orovo detox will flush other meds out of my system? I'd hate to think it will all backfire on me since I have pcos and all... I suppose it would be the same as asking if something like birth control can be flushed out of your system with any method of detox... Anyone have any idea?
Also, are you supposed to take 7 days OD then 7 days 7DFB or 7 days of both then 7 days off both? |

week 1 completed! I just started 7DFB today, but I couldn't get all 6 pills down twice in the day. I took six in the morning and wasn't hungry at all for breakfast, about 2 hours later I took 3 more and had a salad, not hungry, no jitters as I had with the orovo detox. but I think you just need to get use to it for a few days. I lost 5 pounds so far, my clothes are definitely looser, I'll probably need to go shopping in the next week for a size smaller :) my mom is a fantastic cook so, I probably gained weight from eating all of her tasty food, now I'm on a diet of veggies, protein bars, tons of water and a couple bites of real food from time to time.. that might have a lot to do with it

I am a real orovo consumer, and have a real life weight loss goal. I am 23 and am 200 pounds. Just 1 year ago i was at my greatest physical shape ever. I was 150 pounds, and at 5'7 that is not only healthy by standard, but i felt healthy. I have researched a ton of different solutions. And ill tell you again and again, i do yoga four times a week. Cardio twice a week for an hour each time. I eat total in the morning with soy milk, have a peice of fruit for snacks, salads with tuna for lunch and chicken breast and green veggies for dinner. Ive eaten this way for a year, and i just keep gaining weight. So, i HAVE tried other methods, so i was thinking maybe i need to detox, and since i would like to keep up the healthy diet but with a current job transfer, and finding it hard to maintain this balance, figured i would try Orovo out because of the "super foods." Im two days in and plan on explaining my results as soon, or if i see any. Ill let you know how it goes. But so far...
Im on day two. First i started on sunday, just incase anything out of the ordinary might inhibit me to function like i have to at work. I took the doses as recommended 2 tablets 30 minutes before breakfast and 2 30 mins before lunch. I felt good. not jittery, just very motivated to get stuff done around the house, like cleaning and homework (which i usually do not do out of excitement or boredom rather than urgency and necessity. I think i peed like 100 times yesterday, and maybe you want to know this or not, but there was no irregular trips to the bathroom for you know what, (Which i expected there to be). I fell asleep with a little trouble, (i took them too close to bedtime i think) but ultimately fell asleep relatively fine.
Day two, it kept work a little more tolerable, with bursts of energy, i actually think it helped me focus. It didnt curb any cravings... im not sure if thats what it claims or not, but i drank tons of water, i think it makes your throat dry. Also, peed a bajillion times today (but for a rough estimate about once every half an hour). I am weighing myself tomorrow, ill let you know how it goes from there. |

Warning - first paragraph is an opinion for those struggling with other diets and major weight loss goals...
My weight yo-yoed up and down for years - then about 7 years ago I decided to try to find a eating/lifestyle plan that I could follow for the duration. Okay, so I know that we can't live without carbs so that diet was out for me - At the time I was researching a plan, I couldn't afford to pay for meals made by someone else, plus those meals are hard to find in a restaurant so that plan didn't seem too practical for the long haul - but then I read the Zone diet and those principals seemed logical to me and something that wouldn't make me feel like I was depriving myself in the process so I was willing to give it an honest try. (I skipped all of the propaganda chapters and just focused on the food portion ratios, principals of the diet, and figuring out what are good and bad foods in everyday meal intake). The lifestyle change really worked for me, the weight came off, AND I had this result even given the fact that 95% of all vegtables send my gag reflex into overdrive, which limits what my zone diet consists of, but the basic principals of the Zone really are sound in their logic and something everyone can incorporate into their lifestyle if they want to. This has kept me at the same size for the last 6 years (varying degress of actual body tone - but the same size - which for me is the important part). But - as life interrupts the best plans, this year has become non-stop travel for work and my great zone/lifestyle plan has slipped into the whatever is quickest and requires the least amount of effort on my part. Which has now brought me online looking for a cure or at a minimum a helping hand to get back to my old eating habits and to have a desire to at least attempt putting "body tone" back into the equation.
I started taking the pills on Friday - LOVE THEM so far! BUT - you really need to follow the directions to avoid the unpleasant side effects. Just remember the pills are a supplement - not a miracle drug. When you do take the pills 30 min. before breakfast and lunch - it'll begin to give you the "I took too many vitamins this morning/over dose" feeling until you actually eat something, so don't skip your meals no matter how much weight you want to loose. So following the directions for taking the pills is having an amazing appetite suppressing effect on me - feeling full faster - and not grabbing for snacks!! I'm definitely drinking more water, and yes I've felt a little queasy a few times, but as soon as I down some more water the feeling is gone so just remember to keep drinking water (which is a natural dieuretic all on it's own). I haven't had any trouble sleeping and actually got out of bed this morning with a little more energy plus, last night instead of laying on the couch in my usual position, I felt like laying on the floor and doing a few crunches and leg lifts like I used to do in my "tone" days. Basically, OD seems to really be giving me the kick start I needed to get out of the bad habits I've acquired in the last year. And the skirt that was too tight to be decently worn to work last week, actually kind of almost fit today! Overall I just feel less "puffy" right now, and I'm feeling ready to get back on track with a sensible eating plan that will help me get back to the size I want to be. Hope this feeling keeps going!!!! |

redphoenixca2006: OK, so after 16 days of taking the Oxegen AKG shakes, I have lost 0 lbs. However, I was unable to exercise for 2 weeks because of the pinched nerve in my back. Still, I thought that with replacing one meal with the shake I might lose something. No, not me. So I have bumped up my exercise regime from 30 mins/ day cardio alternating with weights, 5 days a week, to, 1 1/2 hours of exercise cardio alternating with weights and adding in walking 4 miles/day, 5 days a week. Along with eating breakfast earlier in the morning ( I am never hungrey until 10 am, but everyone keeps telling me that you have to jump-start your metabolism in the morning) eating at 7:30 am, eating every 2-3 hours ( nuts, sting cheese, fiber bar), and not eating after 7 pm. And drinking lots of water. No suppliments. I do have an appointment with a weight loss MD on Saturday, it will have been a week on my new regime, so I can tell her whether I lost any weight. I really appreciate your info and thanks for being brave and giving out your E-MAIL. I'll post again on Saturday after my appointment.
For you other Orovo bloggers: My opinion is that Orovo is not an effective weight loss suppliment except MAYBE for those of you who are very young and still have healthy metabolisms. There have been so many blogs, but it seems to me that with the exception of one person, no one has lost more than 3-5 lbs with this product. It certainly did not work for me, and I am very diciplined in my approach to eating and exercising, but have a lousy metabolism. But, good luck to those of you who are trying it, it certainly is worth a try. |

I'm now going to be taking 2 OD at breakfast and 2 OD at lunch. I have cut my portions quite a lot.
I haven't been back to the weight loss doc ... I'll call next week to schedule the follow up.

Wow, this is an awesome blog! I think all of you are funny and it looks like most people have had some good results! I'm almost 18 years old and 275 lbs! I'm really over weight for my age... I've always been over wieght though so yeah...My mom and I have been starting to look at weight loss surgery... I think she needs the surgery but I'm a little scared getting it just because it's such a drastic change for how young I am! So I've been thinking about ordering OD but I just can't decide yet. I've tried many, many, many diets since I was about 13 and A couple have worked but I always end up gaining the weight back + more! It's so frustrating! Well, I hope that eventually my mom will just let me buy these to try them out... I mean it couldn't hurt just to see if they work or not! Well will hopefully post again to see if she changes her mind
Thanx |

redphoenixca2006: Congrats on your 4 lb weight loss !! I weighed in today, since I am going to the medical weight loss MD tomorrow morning. I wanted to see if my plan of increasing my workouts to 1 1/2 hours Monday thru Friday and eating every 2-3 hours would do anything, since I am on no suppliments. To my very great surprise I have lost 2lbs in 6 days !! Pretty good for me. So, down to 186. At least I didn't gain, which is what usually happens. Anyway, I am hoping that I can get some sort of metabolism booster from the MD, and maybe some other hints or tricks from her. I will share what I learned and let me know what your MD comes up with. Hopefully we will be in the 170's club soon. Until then I will be walking on the trail, working out and not doing much else. Hope I can keep the pace up !

Enigma- Please don't be so hard on yourself. Everyone has their struggles to conquer, but don't be defeated. Maybe you can't see what others see in you right now, but maybe try to see one positive thing (to start) when you look at yourself. Nice smile, nice hair, great teeth, long lashes..whatever. Try to rid yourself of those negative thoughts. I wish you luck!!!!! |

ok, so i've been reading this post for 2 weeks. The same 2 weeks i've been on OD. Here are my results so far. As of this morning, I am down 7.2 lbs. I am trying to lose 30 total. I am using this product to help curb my appetite while on the weight watchers plan and it is working. I don't take the full doses, I take 2 around 8 am then eat 1/2 hour later. My second dose is either 3 or 4 pills around 12:30 then lunch 1/2 later. I am not having trouble sleeping, but I do notice that at night I still have to be careful not to snack. I am not really craving any sweets or anything like that which is very unusual for me. Plus, I just started my period on Thursday, so this is still good news. I should say that I have always been very good about exercising, it's all about my food intake for me. I've been very successful at weight watchers, but have noticed my snacking was out of control, so I tried this. I am 46 so I am not young and it is not easy to get the weight off!! Hope everyone continues successfull on this journey & I will keep everyone posted. |

I started Orovo Detox today. So far I'm feeling fine. I feel as though I have more energy for the morning. Can't really tell yet. Especially since I've been staring at this computer for the past 15 minutes. I tend to zone out on the comp. Anyway... I will post tomorrow with the results from my first day. I'm excited but not expecting a miracle. I need to drop a big dress size for my sisters impromtu wedding in 4 weeks. That is my current motivation. FYI I'm also a new racket ball enthusiast so that will help with the weight loss... But I will let you know how it goes. BTW My starting weight is 230. I've lost 10 lbs in the past month by just exercising and doing nutrisystem liberally. So we'll see. If anyone has any pointers please let me know... I have to shove into a size 16 J-crew bridesmaid dress. It's a far cry from fitting right now, but I am still optimistic!! God Bless!! |

I took Orovo and the first day felt fine, taking as directed on the label. The second day I felt fine and took as directed. The third day I took it as directed and that evening I felt awful! I was EXTREMELY nauseated and vomited all evening. I still felt ill the next day couldn't even keep water and ginger ale down. I was not running a fever so I am sure it wasn't the flu and I didn't eat anything out of the ordinary. The only thing that I had done differently was take Orovo. I stopped taking Orovo that day. The next day I felt better and although I was still feeling nauseated I was able to start eating alittle and keeping food down. By the second day after I stopped taking this product day I was much better. I bought this product because of the natural ingredients and felt it was safer than most products I have researched. I am disapointed that I had a reaction to this product and obviously can not take it. |

I have been taking this product for 3 days now and I can't believe how well it has suppressed my appetite!!! I'm 35, 5 ft tall, 128lbs. I would love to be 115 again. I run often, but just can't stay on a diet. I really feel like this product is good for me. I haven't seen any side effects, maybe a little sick feeling but I think that has been because I'm not eating much!! The only question I have is....Has anyone had OD to work and then after awhile stop suppressing your appetite??? I find that is a problem I have. It is like my body adjust to other diet pills and I start feeling hungry again.
I hope this review helps others, and thanks sooooo much for all of you that have submitted yours reviews!!! |

Other day down!!! I'm on my fourth day. I did feel bad last night before dinner, but after eating I felt much better. Today I decided to reduce the dosage. I was taking 4 capsules 30 mins before breakfast and the same for lunch. I cut that in half. I think because I'm 128LBS it might be too much.
Hey A in NM, I also have 10 to 15 lbs to lose and I also was working out a lot, and I also hit that brick wall. You know muscle weighs more than fat. So when your working out you are going to gain muscle. So you can't go by the scale, just look in the mirror and go by that. And for your question, I think this would be a good product for you because it allows you to eat healthy and workout for optimal results!! Hope this helps =)

OK... Day two. Yesterday I felt OK... just a little hyper. It's hard for me to take all of those pills and drink all of that water on an empty stomach... I always feel queezy until I eat. But I guess that's normal. One thing I know about any herbal supplement is that if your body isn't used to them, it will make you feel a little weird or maybe even sick for a few days. But I haven't been that bad. I just have trouble with all that water in the morning especially. No weight loss so far... but still optimistic. I'm trying to drop some weight before my sisters wedding next month... I've been playing racketball 2-3 times a week... I feel that's a great workout... so that should help... I also drink almost 90 oz. of water a day... So we'll see... will update tomorrow! God Bless! |

It says to take the pills in the morning and 30mins before lunch. so you dont take any before dinner? and if you dont have lunch can you take it before dinner? or do you think to stick to lunch? the reason I ask, is I dont get a lunch at work, then to grap anything on the go during my travels! |

Hey adaven35, I started Sat, I took 4 b4 breakfast and 4 b4 lunch. I did that for 3 days, but yesturday, the 3rd day I got a sick feeling to my stomach. Which went away after I ate dinner. So I figured today I would cut the dose in half. But tomorrow I might do 3 b4 breakfast and 3 b4 lunch. I got a little hungry today, maybe 3 will work for me. My food for example today has been, half bowl honey nut cherrios, can of chicken noddle soup and some mini saltines and I just had a mini bag of sugar free cookies. The weird thing is I have been on a soda binge for about a month and for the past 4 days I have not wanted soda at all, which will help a lot!!!

I've not wanted anything, I still feel full from dinner.I had a jacket potato. I havent even been in the kitchen. normally I'm looking in cupboards to see what crap I can eat! hehe. so if i have say; yogurt for breakfast or a slice of toast ( i cant really eat too early) and then have a sandwich at lunch time and a normal dinner (i cook all my food not ready made stuff).that sounds ok? I must remember to drink plenty of water too. I joined slimming world earlier in the year (dont go anymore) they told me I didnt eat enough! only I could not eat enough and put weight on !whats that all about !hehe

Yesturday I had what I'm going to call 'breakthru snacking'. I was also pretty hungry by dinner time!!! So I hoping that by taking 3 I will combat the hunger!!!
I weighed myself yesturday and had only lost a pound, which I don't really consider anything less than 4 pounds any kind of weight loss. Just by using the bathroom, consuming salty foods and drinking water you can lose or gain a couple of pounds.
Well I'm open for discussion if anybody needs to talk about their dieting struggles!!!

OK people, there is no "miracle pill" that you can take and just lose weight and keep it off. Honestly, the ONLY way to lose weight (fat) is to exercise it off. I, too, bought Orovo Detox (among MANY other pills) to try and get smaller. A skinny body does not come in a bottle. Eat healthier and exercise some. That is what works. Period. |

redphoenixca2006: Well, another week gone by of 1 1/2 hour workouts 5 days/ week and eating every 2-3 hours. Weigh in: 185. So initial weigh in when I started this whole thing: 190.5; total of 5.5 lbs lost. 1 lb lost this week. Which I am very happy with. If I can lose 1 lb/wk, I will be very happy. I am so over losing it fast, at this point. With increasing the work out time, eating breakfast earlier and eating every 2-3 hours, I know that I am losing real pounds, not just water or muscle. And I know that I am building muscle mass, which will boost my metabolism in the long run and stay with me. My visit with the weight loss MD went well, she was pleased with my weight loss last week of 2 lbs and told me that I was doing the very things she would have told me to do. She did say the only 2 ways to boost your metabolism is to eat breakfast and exercise at least 1 hour a day. So listen up other bloggers !! I am going back next week ( missed my initial physical exam appt today ) for the physical exam and to see if I am a candidate for any prescriptions to help. Also to get menu ideas and ideas for foods that will help me burn the calories even more. Will start weighing in every 2 weeks from now on.
I figure I lost a total of 2 lbs on the Orovo, felt anxious and had panic attacks the whole time. So, for me, it was not a good fit. Feeling much better with the increase in exercise and really feel like this is the only true way to lose the extra pounds for good.
Lets get to the 170 club sometime next month, I challenge you ! |

I look in the mirror yesturday and was just disappointed with the way I let myself go so I said you know what Im not gonna let another day pass and I dont do something about it, so I got up this morning and took my first 4pills for me its hard to drink water before I eat in the morning so it was hard drinking all that water first thing in the morning I think thats why I felt alittle bad but by the time I ate breakfast I felt better actually I kinda feel alittle dizzy now while im writing this but I hope that go away soon. Angie MD: I investigated the Wu Yi Tea thing and after reading up on it all, I discovered it really is just the same as drinking Oolong Tea, which I purchased and I think I drank 4 cups/day. Nothing happened for me , I didn't lose any weight. I think its just the caffeine, again used to increase your metabolism through thermogenisis. Doing the tea alone , even though I was exercising did nothing for me. Good luck to you with the Orovo !! , if you have read my post, it didn't work for me. |

Hey adavaen35, I'm ok. I'm on my first week off. I miss taking the pills, b/c I have my appetite back. I lost 3 lbs at the end of my first week. But I feel like I'm going to put it right back on. I do feel better, the pills did make me feel a little off. Thanks for asking =) |

i feel really good when i'm on the pills, so i take either 2 or 4 pills total every day, and don't take weeks off. life's gotten crazy lately and i got totally messed up, so i'm just now getting back around to taking them again. i felt crappy when i was off of the od and gained a couple pounds back, nothing crazy. |

KRKR - Sorry, I was the anonymous poster that addressed you above... I got a new computer and forgot that I would have to add my sn back in!
I ran out of Gravitas and didn't have the extra cash to get another month's supply but I am hoping to get something this weekend, money still may be tight though, so I won't hold my breath. Anyway, I am still sticking to my diet and exercise as I normally would on the Gravitas. My hubby surprised me with a treadmill so I have been able to add running to my routine, which I love, by the way!
I weighed in this morning.. down a total of 18 so far. 14 to go! Once I hit my goal, I hope to stay with my same exercise routine. I may be losing but I still need to tighten. This left over baby pouch is a killer! It does NOT want to leave!!! |

KRKR - Thank you!! :) It helps having so much support, seriously! I totally appreciate it!
I did an hour of TaeBo tonight and did 45 minutes on the treadmill... then did some ab exercises. I feel pretty good tonight after a crappy day. I guess we'll all have those once in a while!
OH and KRKR - we need our purses too, don't forget!! ;) |
