Orovo

Summary

Orovo is a diet product that claims to give you up to 10-15 pounds of weight loss in 7 days along with reductions of wrinkles lines and acne.

Description

Orovo was inspired by an Oprah program in which "10 super foods" were presented which give you "Age-Defying Beauty" by Dr. Nicholas Perricone. The wife of Orovo's CEO immediately tried these 10 super foods. While she didn't end up looking 10 years younger, she did lose 10 pounds and the acne she had struggled with was gone.

From that experience, Orovo was created. Of course, eating the 10 super foods was time-consuming and expensive. So, Orovo was created in pill form to condense all the essential ingredients in an affordable and easy to take form.

Orovo claims to give you 10lbs of weight-loss in 7 days, reduces lines and wrinkles as much as 90%, complete acne and blackhead cleared up in 30 days, while giving you motivation, happiness, and health and energy.

The 10 super-food ingredients are: Buckwheat, Alfalfa Sprouts, Lactobacillus Acidophilus (yogurt), Flaxseed, Garlic, Soybeans, Wheat Grass, Barley, Cayenne Pepper, and Acai. Orovo adds 4 more ingredients: Green Tea, Alpha Lipoic Acid, DMAE, and Idebennone.

Hello again everyone...
I haven't posted in a while, but I have been reading. I stopped taking the Orovo--I was hungry! I read up on green tea and found lots of info on it--very healthy for you. I bought "Green Tea fat burner" at Costco (I've seen them in lots of stores) and they were very reasonable. I do get energy from it--not crazy jittery energy--just "Hey, I'm not tired" energy. I've also started walking 3 mornings a week for 30 minutes with a friend. Although it's tough getting out of bed at 5:45am---I feel great all day long. Very energizing and the time flies because my girlfriend and I talk the whole time!

Here's another thing....eating. I've done research and found a whole world out there about balancing hormones through the foods we eat. When our body is in hormonal balance, it works more efficiently, increases metabolism, reduces cravings, and helps you lose weight. The book I bought is called "The Leptin Boost Diet" by Scott Isaacs. I bought it at Borders, but it's difficult to find, so it's probably easier to buy it on line--I believe Amazon has it. The first half of the book is kind of technical, but the second part of the book makes tons of sense. If anyone is interested in an overview of the "diet" I could post about it, but didn't want to bore anyone with unwanted info. I feel really good--I have energy and when I'm hungry--I eat something!!! :)

Let's face it...it comes down to results. Since mid August I've lost about 11-13 lbs, and I definitely feel a loss of inches. My clothes fit better--especially in the belly area. It's hard to know exactly what is working since I've bounced around a bit (Orovo, Green tea) but I think what really works is---food choices and activity.

We're all in the same boat, whether we want to lose 5 or 50 lbs. We want to feel better. I've been feeling better, so I just thought I'd share.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Liz: Just an FYI re: Green Tea Fat Burner. I did the green tea thing, drank LOTS with no results. The suppliment Green Tea Fat Burner essentially has caffeine as its fat burner, 560 mg which is equal to 5 5oz cups of coffee. However, it also contains Yerba Mate, which also has caffeine and is used as a fat burner because of its caffeine content. So who knows how much Yerba Mate is in the product ( the mg or % is not listed), Plus, it has " Essential Vitality Blend", which can be compared to what alot of products call a "Proprietary Blend" which they do not give the ingredients for. My point is that there may be even more caffeine in that Blend. So beware. I took a similar product and felt great while on it and lost 24 pounds and was convinced that since I got such good results everything was great.... until one night I was lying on the couch and experienced irregular heart beats and very high blood pressure. Really, I have come to the conclusion that the only way to lose the weight for good is increasing exercise and portion control. It may not come off as fast as we want, but it does work and it is much safer.

Hello Everyone! Today was my first day on the Orovo Detox...I took 4 pills this morning around 7:15 as directed left my apartment for work about 7:30. Within 10 minutes of my commute I felt very "funny" Unfortunatley I am addicted to RedBull and always start my day with one on the way to work. So I thought maybe it was the RedBull and threw the half full can away when I arrived to the office and immediately started drinking water. I ate a bagel with cream cheese at about 8:00 afterward had a cigarette. While outside smoking I noticed my head felt a bit fuzzy and it seemed like my vision was even a bit blurry. And I could'nt ignore an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I really hope I dont go through the same feelings at lunch time with the next set of pills! I'll keep posting on my progress.

Good afternoon,

I am 36 years old and it's amazing how I have put on 10 lbs in 9 months (due to getting married and dining out w/ family) and no one in my circle of family or friends has even noticed, I hide it well. I went from a size 5 to a size 7(after giving birth 8 years ago to my son). Many people may say that a size 7 is still wonderful but not for someone who has never even wore a size 5 until the age of 30.I must admit, it was quite overwhelming reading all of the blogs posted, but I believe we must conduct as much research as possible in order to find truth. I thank you all for sharing your stories which was sometimes sad and other times humorous! After reading about everyone's personal journey too weight loss, I have decided to continue the natural way, eat a balance meal (6 small servings) each day, workout 3-4 days a week with my Bowflex machine my husband bought me, choose a glass of wine over a foo-foo drink (ex. margarita or appletini) due to excessive sugar, stick to splenda and natural sugar such as honey and choose natural bread such as whole grain products, and recently I learned to bake with soy flour and whole wheat flour when I get a little craving for something sweet (you should try it, not much difference in taste just low in carbs and sugar). I don't want to try any pill or weight loss product which I can come to depend on to feel good about myself or to be co-dependent on in order to discipline myself. I wish each of you great success in which ever way you go on this journey, just always love yourself first and never let anyone make you think less of yourself! God Bless!

Hi everyone. I am a real person. I'm in the military and over the years I have packed on some pounds due to various forms of birth control. My metabolism has slowed down tremendously and I too have tried a lot of "diet pills" plus exercise my butt off. I just received my first bottles of Orovo Detox today and I must say I have gone all day and not even felt tired and little appetite. I'm taking both the Orovo 7FB Detox and Orovo detox together so I take 10 pills before breakfast and lunch. That may seem like a lot but at this point I am willing to try anything. I'll keep you guys posted on results in a few days.

I know that I have lost some weight b/c my clothes is fitting looser. I think that I am jittery b/c this pill has 50% caffeine and I dont drink coffee. I will post again when my week is over.

I started my second week this past Saturday and I was SOOOOO GLAD!!!! I was eating like a little pig on my off week!!! But since being back on I have only drank water and my apetite is where it should be.

Has anyone here tried Acai Berry? It has no side affects that I can tell. No jitters, no anxiety or stomach problems. In fact for once in my life my IBS is gone! Orovo didn't work for me and I felt sick while using it. Been on Acai Berry extreme for a couple weeks I've lost close to 5 lbs. I feel great! I seem to wake up much more alert in the morning and I have a lot more energy without the negative feelings I experienced with orovo. My husband says I even look different. Haven't felt this great in a long time. I'm not "bad mouthing" Orovo, just saying it didn't work for me.
Luck to all of you and God Bless!

redphoenixca2006: If you are still out there, here is the update on my visit to the medical weight loss MD. Had my 2nd visit where she goes over my medical history, did my BMI , HT, WT and % of body fat. Yuch... BMI 30.5 and 37% body fat at 5' 4.5" and 182 lbs. The good news is that I lost 3 more lbs in 9 days just doing the exercise and portion control thing. So down from 185 last week to 182. Total weight loss from first blogging here is 8.5 lbs ( 190.5 to 182 ), with the majority of the weight loss after stopping the Orovo and increasing the exercise time to 1 1/2 hours daily. Getting closer and closer to the 170's club.... And feeling really good, energy wise and finally and feeling some toning effects of my muscles. I still have a long way to go with my goal at 136. So, the MD gave me a food journal and I am doing that this week, and next week we will go over if I want to try any meal replacements or suppliments. If I continue to lose weight as I have over the last 3 weeks, I probably won't need to see her anymore, unless she offers some miraculous suppliment to boost my metabolism. I really do think the key for me has been increasing the exercise time to 1 1/2 hours daily. So, thats it. Looking forward to hearing from you and your progress.

To all the other bloggers: obviously the Orovo wasn't the key for me,I have to do it the old-fashioned way. Hope it works and works not just for the short term , but for the long term for you all.

KRKR,My Three Sons,Patriot-- Thank you so much for your support. It does help to know that people are out there in the same boat. Thanks for the words about the green tea fat burners--I haven't taken them for about a week--I really don't see any difference without them. I do drink green tea when I can, because I've heard it is healthy---but not so much on the supplements I guess??

The Leptin Boost Diet....I think it's basically pretty similar to the South Beach Diet-Phase 2. It's healthy, and encourages lots of fruits and veggies (5 servings of each daily), low fat dairy, whole grains, lean protein, and lots of water. The basic priniple (from what I understand) is to keep the leptin hormone in your body at a constant level by eating 6 times a day (3 meals, 3 snacks). As soon as you feel hungry, your leptin has already dropped, therefore your body goes into fat storing mode. By eating protein for breakfast and morning snack, your body feels fuller for most of the day---then your not starving and craving junk. I really am rarely hungry, and if I am--here's a concept we're not used to---I EAT SOMETHING!! LOL Now I choose wisely....fruit, low fat cheese stick, make a smoothie, low fat yogurt, etc. Sometimes I kind of forget to eat because I'm not starving---but your supposed to eat, to constantly fuel your metabolism, therefore burning fat. I have more energy--rarely have that 3:00 slump, and my mood has improved. Like I said in another post, I've also begun walking--so that helps too. I think we're all slowly realizing that the 2 go together....diet and exercise. That's the real way to beome more healthy/lose weight. Not everybody like to hear it (I don't either), but it's the truth!

Thanks again for the kind words, and keep up the great work everybody!

redphoenixca2006---if you're still around, thanks for the email on the weight loss Dr. How's everything going with that?

Before I start this weight loss pill I would like to ask a somewhat odd question. I have dieted and exercised and done everything my doctors and personal trainers have told me to including staying away from the diet pills however it seems that over the last two years of doing it "their way" I have lost very little and most of it came out of my bra unfortunately. I would HATE to lose anymore seeing as I would look even worse if I lost more there....have any of you noticed losing more than their fair share in that general area?

So i contacted orovo and found out that they have over 20 products. so Idecided to try it (the company seems legit at least and OD has great ingredients). I've been taking it for about 3 days and I think I lost about 5 lbs!!! I know it may not be much to other people but to me it is HUGE! My weight has steadily been going up for last 6 months or so. Hi everyone,

I very much appreciate all of the entries within this log. It is a great source of information having recognised that there have been no clinical studies on the Orovo range of product supplements.

I also have noticed that there is rather a lot of internet marketing on the Orovo range, but this log seems to be the only honest and up to date source of real time information on how well the tablets work in real life. However, there does not seem to be that many entries from people who have been on the product for 3 months or more.

I have also researched that although the ingredients are natural, there is no proof that the amounts of each ingredient used, and combined with each other, are indeed effective for weight loss long term.

I have read as much of this log as time allowed has anyone been on Orovo for more than 3 months and had good success?

Having done my research has anyone tried PROACTOL? For short or long term? The product is marketed as 100% Natural, 100% Organic, clinical studies have been done on it, is FDA approved apparently, is not a pyramid marketing scheme such as Orovo is, recommended by fitness and medical professionals etc....

I wonder if this is a) either too good to be true as many are; b) a better option for us that donít want the jitters or sleepless nights that I have read about in this blog.

I have never tried supplements previously as I would never jeopardise my health using untested products. and I try to do as much research as possible. I am getting married next year and would like to look my best! I am in the gym quite a lot and have about 6-7 kilos (about 12 - 15 pounds) to lose to look my best....I would very much like to hear from people that have had long term success as I am not looking for a quick fix.

I hope that everyone here reaches their goals and best of luck,

Keelin

To Keelen and anyone else who dosen't expect the world to shift without moving a muscle. This is a great fat burner and has all the benefits of an antioxidant. I have used this product for 5 weeks - and am in my 3rd week cycle. This is my final week - I have so far lost 6 kils - from 71kg to 65kg - and i know its is all fat, as my love handles have gone and my musles all over my body are showing. But, hey, this is no miracle drug- I go to the gym 5 times a week and I eat sensibly. I use the pills before and after my workout. I'm amazed that people don't change their lifestyles and expect a pill to do all the work for them - whilst goging on unsavoury foods. Of course, you'll be on the toilet initially - to remove stubborn fat - mostly as water - but if u continue to eat badly - then expect to be seated! I have just completed the 7day fat burner - and for those who don't want jitters, stay away from the 7 day fat burner. Keelan - I would say as u goto the gym and probably eat fairly - use the orovo detox - as not only will it help with your regime, but it will also remove toxins from your body - so that your skin will be better for your wed. Again this is not a wonder drug, you ALSO have to do the work. If youre looking to lose 30 pounds or so - then moreover, I would say you have other issues that need support - like addiction and/or depression and acceptance issues. I hope this helps.

Beeham, I would suggest you have a lack of sugar in your system, hence the shakes. Try natural fruits, or a smoothie drink, first thing in the morning - not only will this curb any sugar pangs later in the day, but it should also resolve any low blood sugar you may have - which certainly is at a low first thing in the morning. The orov detox regime, should remove the toxins that are blocking up your gut, and hence giving you a bloated stomach. To curios, of course your question is important, my rant was aimed at those expecting a complete transformation without a lifestyle change. If I didnt change my lifestyle then, of course, initially I would lose a bundle of weight, but once I stopped taking Orovo, I would certainly put it back on. And this certainly would do more harm to my gut in the long term. I hope this helps!

alright, so here is my input--hoping it will help some of you make up your mind, and give you some different perspectives on the od. i've been taking the orovo detox pretty much non stop for about 9 or 10 weeks i think. there was a hiatus where i stopped for about 2 weeks. this week i hit the 10 pound marker. my weight loss has been slow and steady, but i'm happy with that. i take 2 pills every day before breakfast. that's it. i don't take the weeks off since my dose is so low. i do this because the 2 pills curbs my appetite, and i feel really good when i'm on the pills. i find that if i eat crappy food, like fatty or greasy, i feel sick at my stomach. so they also help me to eat right. i'm quite sure that if i could get on a regular exercise schedule, i'd lose more weight more quickly, and i'm trying to get there. this is what works for me............

oh, and whoever it was that said about getting shakey, make sure you eat right at 1/2 hour after taking the pills. i get shakey if i wait longer.

You really should change the introduction. Orovo doesn't promise 10-15 pounds weight loss in 7 days. Orovo Detox promises a pretty significant weight loss and delivers. But the original Orovo product is more of a balancing thing than a diet pill. it has definitely helped me to lose weight. But that is because my body was out of balance. Now I use it to maintain.

Finally saw "the light", and have been losing with workouts and sensible eating, that is, eating something about every 2-3 hours and exercising 90 min/ day, 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday ( I give myself the weekends off ). So three sensible meals with snacks in-between, always fueling the engine to keep the metabolism running high. I too, went to a weight loss MD and she recommended a diet higher in Protein, for me about 80 gms of Protein a day and 1200-1500 cals per day. Which I know from past dieting, is what my metabolism responds to. So working on that , along with the exercise, which has been the real key for me. 30 minutes per day was just not enough to see results. So doing 30 min cardio/wts along with walking 4 miles/day ( takes me about an hour ) for a total of 1 1/2 hours of exercise daily. Total weight loss from my first blog here is 9 1/2 lbs with the majority of weight lost after stopping the Orovo. So, really over losing it fast and happy with my 1-2 lb weight loss per week. Also, another key to increase metabolism is to always eat breakfast as early in the day as possible . I used to eat breakfast only when I was hungrey, which was about 10 am. Now I choke down something at 7:30 am every day. So, good to hear from you !!! and your weight loss is fantastic! Wish I was in the 170's... hope to get there at the end of this week. Keep in touch.

Patriot---Kudos to you for all your excercise!! That's awesome. It really does help with everything...weight loss, energy level, moods, stress, etc. You must walk at a pretty good clip---4 miles--wow! I walk with a friend every Mon, Wed, Fri at 6 am for 30 minutes. We don't stop talking the whole time, so it goes pretty fast! Eventually I probably will have to walk more, but for now it's working.
It sounds like we're also on the same page with the food part too. Higher protein...early in the morning,3 meals, and healty snacks in between. I've been making smooties with yogurt and fruit as snacks. I also bought protein powder to make shakes or add to yogurt. I've started making egg whites. I was never into them before because I thought they would be gross--but they're really not bad. I add tomoatoes to them to flavor them and try to get more veggies in. I never wanted to snack before because I was brainwashed into thinking not to eat as much, but now I've learned that you have to keep your metabolism fueled to keep it burning. I have cut down (not cut out) on carbs. I have smaller portions when I do eat them, and make whole grain choices (whole wheat pasta, brown rice pasta is really good). What foods have you been eating? I always like new ideas so I don't get bored, and "fall off the wagon".
You're doing a great job--keep up the awesome work! Thanks for checking in....

Hey guys, congrats on all the progress you all have been making! I was thinking about getting this to boost my energy through work as well as help me cut down belly fat. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week, and I do 7 min abs. I was wondering what your guys opinion would be to whether or not I should get this? or would it be too intense? I'm around 180 right now and I want to slim down my gut. Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Everyone. I'm reluctant to take the 8 pills a day, based on some of the side effects I've read others experienced. Has anyone tried reducing the dosage, to maybe 2 each serving, instead of 4, and if so, what were your results and any side effects? Thanks for your help!

KRKR: Congratulations !!! Its great to break into another decade, as it were...I am at 181, so hoping to break into the 170's by the end of the week, even if, like you, its 179....

Liz: Thanks for the food ideas. We are basically doing the same thing, except I think I will try the protein powder in shakes or yougurt. The weight loss MD wants me to eat at least 80GMs of protein daily, which means about 15 GMs at each meal and or snack. I, too, got into the egg whites... I will scramble 1 egg then add the liquid whites to equal 2-3 eggs. Snacks for me are usually a granola bar, string cheese, walnuts with raisins or a piece of low carb whole wheat bread with 1 TBSP or peanut butter. I could use some good ideas for snacks. More of a variety. Meals are eggs or oatmeal in the AM, a low carb wrap with beef or chicken and peppers or olives or avocado at lunch , or a salad with the same toppings , and dinner is whatever I make my family but my portion is the size of my fist, basically half of what everyone else is having, if I make a baked potato I only have half, usually have a green salad, too. Any food ideas you have would be greatly appreciated ! Keep up the good work, it sounds like you are getting results, and as you know, its much better to go slow as long as you keep going in the right direction.

Hi everyone...new to the blog here. I just ordered a bottle of the orovo detox a couple days ago so I havent received it yet but I am wondering if anyone knows if it is safe or would be too much if I am taking fiber supplements while taking the orovo derox at tha same time. I also have tried tons of different products to no avail and recently started having a glass of metamucil in the morning, then I eat breakfast and take my weight management daily multi vitamin and two cinnamon /chromium capsules. Then I take two fiber capsules with lunch and two with dinner and I have had what seems to be a detox affect doing this, frquent urination, change in color and consistency in bowel movements etc, of course I have also been drinking a ton of water and also gree tea too. So I am just wondering if adding the orovo will be too much on my body or ok to take with these other supplements.

So, after reading this entire thing. I still don't know how I feel about this stuff.....
Congrats to the ppl who have made big or little changes to their lifestyles and saw results! Good for you! But I need to figure out what's for me. I have stubborn tummy fat, love handles, and thighs. I'm Puerto Rican so I have a wide hip frame no matter what. I've cut my diet back MAJORLY over the past year. No sweets, no mayo, cheese, or cream sauces, I went from drinking 4 or more can Mountain Dews or Vanilla Cokes a day to Coke Zero, Diet MD, and water.
*Here in lies my faults
1:I really like fried foods, but I have fiercely cut them back. I've been trying to avoid breading all together but every once in a while....
2:I rarely exercise, but when I do I go the the gym and work out for atleast an hr.
3:I'm very impatient!!!! I hate waiting for results and usually get discouraged easily!!!! AHHHHHH! Help.

liz and patriot-here are a few snack suggestions.....if you're not majorly cutting out carbs, honestly i love to snack on pretzels. if you're interested i can get a recipe for seasoned pretzels that uses maybe ranch stuff or lemon pepper seasoning. celery with peanut butter is always good, but also to change it up i like celery with light vegetable flavor cream cheese spread. my other snack of the day is yogurt. i buy dannon light and fit, carb and sugar control yogurt. it only has 3 carbs, and 60 calories. i like vanilla the best.

Hi All!

I ordered my first bottle of Orovo Detox on Ocotber 18th and received it in the mail by Thursday, October 23rd. (at least that is what I think becuase I did not check the mail on Wednesday) Anyways, I started my first round of detox on Saturday, October 25th. Itook the recommended 4 pills with breakfast and 4 pills with lunch and did not have any bad side effects. I have already taken my 2nd days worth of detox and still no bad side effects. I have noticed I have been peeing a lot, but that is normal for me when I drink any amount of water. (Stuff runs right through me for some reason) I went to the OBGYN and naturally he had to tell me that over the years I have gained weight(172.5) .....duh!!!! Thanks for the info doc! LOL Well, I told him that by next year I would be back down to the weight he very first saw my at 133lbs. I am not sure i want to get all the way back down to 133, but I would like to get down to 135-140?!?!?!? I am truely hoping to have some good results with the Orovo Detox. So my question is, am I taking the right stuff? Meaning the Detox or should I be on the Diet pills? If there is anyone that has any advice for me or that just would liketo chat please send me a message!! Any suggestions or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciate!! Thanks, Mandy

Ok I am a bit concerned because I am on my 7th day of Orovo and I JUST relized I have been taking double the amount I was supposed to. I noticed my bottle was getting low on pills so I divided the amount of pills by the amount of servings the bottle contains and sure enough, Ive been taking double because the statement for directions on the bottle is misleading. I then googled the amount people take and read many people taking 2 before breakfast and 2 before lunch.

The bottle states "Take 4 capsules before breakfast AND lunch with at least 12-16 ounces of water. Use for 7 days followed by 7 days off before starting your next cycle. Resuls usually improve with each 7 day cycle". Since it said this, I was taking 4 before breakfast, and 4 before lunch every day.

I feel fine, I am just concerned about my health since i was taking double. Does anyone have any advice or inpu??! I really appreciate any help!! Thanks!!

I purchased these pills a couple days ago..and started taking them yesterday... i stupidly didn't weigh myself beforehand.

day one i took 4 capsules 30 min before eating breakfast with the recommended 16oz of water. (they contain some ingredients that ate dehydrators so they recommend LOTS OF water.

any whoo i finished that routine (4 before lunch) and headed to the gym around 6pm. before dinner. Everyday while at the gym i'd weigh myself. i would always be 140-145 then 142 always fluctuating. today after only 8 capsules.. i stepped on the scale at a whopping 135. which is super odd.. i was convinced it was a bum scale, and i had just not eaten enough that day. i didnt want to admit that the pills helped.... so today i started this whole routine again... and i'll be heading to the gym tomorrow. and i'll check back in here.

in the pills, are ALOT of green tea. which contributes to 50% of the caffeine. (or thats what the bottle says). which is a great pick me up. i get dizzy during the 30 min before breakfast... but only for a few mins. and i was jittery the first day. but it isnt too bad for me. (im normally falling asleep)

i like that ALL the ingredients in this product come from mother nature. no MYSTERY substances. :) i trust it.. hopefully i lose more weight. :)

Stephanie you are low a dose cause they have you do 4 before breakfast and 4 before lunch for 7 days.. then a 7 day rest period where you don't take any pills.. then continue for another 7 days with the 4 pill doses.

so its a months dose spread out in 2 weeks. :)

Between working fulltime and going to school fulltime, I am always a big stress ball. And that calls for COMFORT FOODS!!! Ugh.

Anyways, I was 150 pounds last summer, and a whopping 210 currently. I feel like a cow.

Does this stuff really work? I also have no energy and sleep a lot (when I can). Then after sleeping for 12 hours, I wake up and eat possibly some of the worse foods EVER!

I'm getting married next year, and I do not want to look life a beefer in my dress. Someone please enlighten me to buy this stuff.

This is my 5th day on Orovo Detox. i noticed i dont have the jittery pep anymore on my first 4 pills. i miss it.. but i've also become more nauseous. maybe im not taking them with enough water...

Day 1: 139-142 ( always varies)
Day 2: 135 (water-weight???)
Day 3. no weigh in
Day 4. 134

Daily eating habits:

BREAKFAST: Yogurt (Dannon Activia)
--snack: unbuttered roll OR granola bar (80 cal)

LUNCH: lean cuisine/ Smart ones meal ranging from 250-310 cal.
---snack : apple (70 cal) OR 100 cal bag of crackers

DINNER: Basic NOT overstuffed (small portion of spaghetti, medium salad, 1 slice pizza)
--snack: (sometimes) - sugar free ice cream, pudding cup.

I am hopeful that These pills are what's causing the weight loss. my goal weight is 125. i haven't changed my diet much (i have always exercised 2 times a week and eaten moderately healthy). i work at a desk job, and rarely move around... i need to work out more. maybe 3 times a week.

i see people come and go from this site, i have read all of the above comments... and realized that people get really excited and then when on .5 pound or .2 pounds comes off they disappear... i hope that doesnt happen to me.

Can't remember the last time I made a post but here is an update and a question. I have been taking the OD every day. I take only 4 in the morning and do not go off at all. I was worried about the side effects but I had an appointment with my urologist who did all kinds of blood and urine tests and he told me all my levels were absolutely perfect so I guess it hasn't hurt me any, however I think I have plateaued. I have been bouncing back and forth from 152 to 156 but I also notice that I gain 2 to 4 pounds throughout the day then lose them come morning. I was looking to buy my next bottles of OD when I noticed a new product (well its new to me anyway) Orovo Extreme..Has anyone researched it, heard about it, used it??? Wondering how much different it is from the regular Orovo and the detox..Keep it up everyone..This site is excellent for information and support.

hey classy bitch- i was curious after reading your post. i too take orovo detox every day with no break, i only take 2 a day, sometimes 3. but i'm also nearing my plateau, so the orovo xtreme intrigued me. when i got on the orovo home page, and read the info about it though, i changed my mind. it has a lot of warnings with different drug interactions that the other products don't have, so i didn't feel comfortable with it myself. the main thing that turned me off was that you are not supposed to have any caffeine while taking it, and part of what is helping me lose weight is drinking tons of green tea. so, that's my 2 cents!

hey KRKR...I read alot of that too---thing is I don't drink anything but water--ever---but I do indulge in chocolate every now and then. I'm also a bit skeptical with the price as well. I use the detox--4 every morning and 2 magnesium potassium asparate 2 times a day. Not much stays in my system for very long and it really has helped with my digestion but I am stuck and it is getting frustrating. I think I will do a little more research and if I try it I will definitely report back. I take some medications that they warn against also so I will have to do ALOT of research first..Thanks for your .02 :)

I think it was Womans Day or something like that. It's one of those magazines that you see while you are in line at the grocery store..The article stated that some fatigue can be a sign of low magnesium levels and suggested the combination for increased energy. I buy it from www.vitacost.com It is not very expensive. I have diverticulitis so this has given me a slight increase in energy and helps my digestive system. I am very careful of what I eat but it will make you somewhat inconsistent...Sorry to be so gross but almost peeing out your butt depending on what you eat. It doesn't bother me all that much but it might for some. The combination of the OD and the asparate for me has done wonders but it is not for everyone. The worst you could do is waste a couple bucks to see if it works for you. Still researching the OE and it sounds fantastic---I just want to see what the added ingredients are from the OD. I have looked for the Acai Berry Extreme as well but I do not want to have auto refills but that seems to be the only way to get that particular product. Alot of time and research and sooner or later I will find the right combination..

Ok so from what I can tell after hours of reading from this site is that a majority of people are taking the Orovo Detox. That is a great way to start out your diet but after so long you wonít be able to lose anything anymore because your body has already been detoxed. So I believe it is a good thing for every once in awhile but how many people really detox every other week. You also need to keep in consideration that nothing just happens overnight.
Since a lot of you are just starting out let me give you my story... I have been taking the Orovo products for a little over a month now. I am 5'2" and began this diet at 157. I started out with the 7 DFB and then started taking the Orovo Original. For the first couple of weeks I was getting a little discouraged because I was not seeing any results and I completely cut out all beverages besides water out of my diet and cut down on all the salt that I ate. (Ok maybe had a few sodas every now and then) Also I was walking at least 3 miles a day. I have never had much of an appetite but I can tell you that it still suppressed it considering a few days I forgot to eat at all. OOoops. Then about 3 weeks ago I started to get really hungry all the time apparently that is because my metabolism has been raised. So I did what a lot of nutritionist say and I ate 5 small meals a day just taking my Orovo before my breakfast and noon meal. So now what you probably all want to know... the first month I lost a total of 7 pounds. To you that may not seem like a lot but I have also gained muscle too so not sure how much I have actually lost but I am down a size. Oh I forgot to mention that the last 2 weeks I did not work out at all and was eating bad. Just goes to show that sometimes it takes your body a bit to get used to something.
Anyways now I am on the Orovo Xtreme - Just started Monday. And drum roll please... I have already lost 5 pounds. So 5 pounds in 5 days. I am so super excited about that and I am going to start working out again this next Monday. Let me also point out that my diet this week has not been good either... burgers and Mexican food not so good for you. I have cut out all but water again though because of the HUGE warning about any caffeine.
Hope this post helps anyone that has had questions about the Regular Orovo or the Xtreme.

shelly-good for you, i absolutely hear you, i've had more success with orovo the longer i've been on it. i just am now taking some time off, hoping to jump start again after thanksgiving. so far i'm down 15 pounds in 3 months. fine by me, i'm looking and feeling great. 5 more pounds to reach my goal, 10 more if i want to reach my dream. and i agree, you can't deprive yourself and diet nonstop. last night i had ice cream, and i might just have some for breakfast today too!!!

My only fear is when I get a chocolate urge. I only have it once in awhile but it also makes me sick---gives me an upset stomach and gas. I feel like I have plateaued and am just a little stuck..

Shelly--I know it's only been 5 days but can you tell me if you have had any side effects? How do you feel? Pros and cons? I found Orovo Extreme completely by accident and it had piqued my interest but I haven't found enough feedback to give me that extra push. I have read the cautions about caffeine...Have you had any besides what is in the Orovo? How has it been on your stomach? They say it is much milder..Can you maybe give us an example of your eating habits in one day? I don't eat much and I do get a massive craving for chocolate once a day so I want to watch that as well.

Anything that you can add would be a great benefit..

Hello,

I am writing to inquire if there is a money back guarantee policy? I have tried taking the caps three different times and they burn and make me really jittery, therefore I realize that this product and my body do not mix. I was excited to try it and looked forward to the detox effect even more than weight loss and am sorry to say it didn't work for me. So herein lies my request since there were not inexpensive. I appreciate your time and consideration in this matter, thank you.

Wishing you the best, Janna Del Prince @jbdelprince@msn.com

Just ordered my first bottle of Orovo detox and the 7 day fat burner....
was wondering...if i experience insomnia can i take a sleeping pill with the orovo? I'm kinda a freak about putting random stuff in my body and dont want any bad interactions between the two.

also, my bottle isnt coming with instructions... how do you do it when you have the orovo detox and the 7 day fat burner?

Okay...so I'm one of those people that likes to do reasearch before spending money on things that may or may not work. Oddly enough, I was searching online for a pill that was an antioxidant and helps clear up acne. There are a few out there and they are very expensive. I came across Orovo in my search and it talked about 10 superfoods. I had never heard of it and was somewhat intrigued. As I looked further the whole weight loss thing popped up! So I started reading this stuff on here and thought, okay I'll give it a shot. Apparently, this company markets different types of pills so I was kind of confused on what to buy. What I bought was OROVO in the black bottle with the orange circle on it. It was paired with 7DFB, which is in a white bottle with red writing on it. And for 7 days I'm supposed to take 6 pills from the white bottle and two from the black 30 mins before breakfast and lunch. That's a lot of pills. Well, while I was waiting for my pills, I started to notice people talking about the detox and I got confused again....did I order the wrong thing? Reading further, it seems that the Detox, which is in the black bottle with the white circle on it, kind of does the same thing that the 7DFB does. Bunches of pills for 7 days on and 7 days off...but you seem to get more pills with the Detox.

So tell me, is 7DFB a stronger form and that's why you only get enough for 7 days or am I a big dummy and should have gotten the Detox instead? Also, if they do just about the same thing....looking at Breezy's question, I don't think they should be taken together. It looks like the detox includes the same benefits as the regular orovo and the 7dfb together and it's half the pills.

Anyway, I got my pills on Monday and I tried them out on tuesday.....all 16 pills! I had a lot of energy....TOO much energy! I was up til 230a. I had extremely bad gas! EXTREMELY! And stomach cramps. I was okay all day until around "bedtime" and whooooooo then the air raid began! I will say, my appetite was curbed though. I drank a lot of water and had to "tinkle" a lot. I din't have out of control BM's, which was a plus. I am drinking Dieter's Tea at night. And like I said, I wasn't eating like an out of control fool! I woke up this morning and just to see if all of that was in vain......I LOST 3 POUNDS! YAY! Was it water weight? Probably, but with those results, I decided to do day 2. So I've had my 16 pills for the day and wonder if I'm going to have similar side effects! We shall see. I will weigh myself in the morning and post my results!

I get my Orovo from ebay. I have not had any problems with taking them at all. I actually have been reseraching the Orovo Extreme to try.

I did not have ANY positive results with the 7 day fat burner. I have 2 bottles just sitting there wasting away since they did nothing for me.

It is a must to drink ALOT of water. I probably drink over 80 ounces a day..I do have alot of potty breaks for number 2 but I also take Magnesium/potassium pills. So far I love Orovo.

So here we go...I just ordered these OD pills. Seriously like 5 mins ago. Excited to get a package in the mail, that always makes me happy. So....I have 3 kids, Im 27, yikes almost 28. I got all the way up to 202 with my last child. I weighed myself 2 3 weeks after he was born and the scale said 173. Whoo hoo, a 30lb loss. But, ugh, its been 5 months now and the stupid lying scale now says 185. Ok so its not lying. How the heck did that happen? I work out 5 days a friggin week, eat fairly good, minus the Burger king I had on an emergency. What? I said it was an emergency. Anyway, hoping these pills work for me. So not looking forward the the jitters, or cramping you guys speak about. And my heart beating out of my chest. Sounds like fun. I'll keep ya posted, with vomiting and diarrhea and all!

Hello all...I haven't posted in ages because I've been really sick. I think I mentioned that I was having minor foot surgery. Well, it turned into major complications and I was hospitalized for 3 weeks and had 3 surgeries while I was there. I've been home now about 2 weeks and just had another surgery Monday. I've been through a terrible ordeal (that is looking more positive than originally thought)but the good news is I think I've lost about 35 lbs. Sick, I know..but I'm happy with it! :)I lost 20 lbs before I went into the hospital the right way...diet and exercise. The very interesting thing is that while I was in the hospital the doctors and nurses all promoted eating protein for health benefits, cell growth, muscle building, and healing. Pretty ironic because I went into the hospital on a high protein diet. It just confirmed it for me that it's a good/healthy way to eat that I will continue. Just thought I would pass it on.....
Happy Holidays!
