Orovo

Summary

Orovo is a diet product that claims to give you up to 10-15 pounds of weight loss in 7 days along with reductions of wrinkles lines and acne.

Description

Orovo was inspired by an Oprah program in which "10 super foods" were presented which give you "Age-Defying Beauty" by Dr. Nicholas Perricone. The wife of Orovo's CEO immediately tried these 10 super foods. While she didn't end up looking 10 years younger, she did lose 10 pounds and the acne she had struggled with was gone.

From that experience, Orovo was created. Of course, eating the 10 super foods was time-consuming and expensive. So, Orovo was created in pill form to condense all the essential ingredients in an affordable and easy to take form.

Orovo claims to give you 10lbs of weight-loss in 7 days, reduces lines and wrinkles as much as 90%, complete acne and blackhead cleared up in 30 days, while giving you motivation, happiness, and health and energy.

The 10 super-food ingredients are: Buckwheat, Alfalfa Sprouts, Lactobacillus Acidophilus (yogurt), Flaxseed, Garlic, Soybeans, Wheat Grass, Barley, Cayenne Pepper, and Acai. Orovo adds 4 more ingredients: Green Tea, Alpha Lipoic Acid, DMAE, and Idebennone.

Hi all - thanks for all the honest blogs - I decided to order based on all your comments and it actually just came in today and it came faster than I thought (4 days!)I'm totally stoked! I'm not incredibly overwieght but I could definitely afford to loose about 15 pounds. I've tried EVERYTHING - I workout 6 days and week and really try to watch what I eat (except for sweets, with which I have no self control :( but feel like I just can't loose weight so I realy hope this works. I ordered the 7dfb and orovo detox and I think I'm going to do both at once unless I start to feel funny. I'm going to start first thing tomorrow so I'll keep you all posted.

Hey guys I'm back... I'm on Day #6 of my week off of the Orovo. I start my 2nd week in about a day and half. I've lost weight. Again, can't say exactly how much because of my protein intake and exercise. But I must say this is some STRONG stuff. I've noticed the condition of my stool while I was on the pills, is exactly the same 6 days off of them... the stuff stays in your system for awhile. I can't wait to start my next 7 days on to see what the next 2 weeks offers. Congrats on those who've lost weight and good luck to those who've started. I haven't gained any weight back since I've been off... besides the normal water retention based on too many carbs, but that sloughs off after awhile from routine exercise. I'll keep everyone informed as to my progress. This is great stuff. (Key: Low-carb, low-fat diet and regular exercise.)

Take care!

Chewie, just noticed your post... please do not take 7DFB and Orovo Detox at the same time. They are made from the same ingredients and do the same thing. Doubling your dosage may be unsafe. The best way to approach your bargain purchase :)... is to take either one 1st... for example should you take 7DFB... do that for one week... but only use 7DFB... do not use Orovo Detox. After your 7DFB is exhausted... take one week off, do not immediately start Orovo Detox until your 2nd week is finished of being off of 7DFB. On your 3rd week, start Orovo Detox for a week, then a week off, then a week on. So to sum it up it should look like this: Week 1 - 7DFB, Week 2 - Nothing, Week 3 - Orovo Detox, Week 4 - Nothing, Week 5 - Orovo Detox. This should get you through your supplies of both products safely.

Drink tons of water. This is my suggestion. The products are very strong and are not designed to work together since they are both Detoxification ingredients.

Take care and good luck.

So... I started my Orovo Detox yesterday. I had a Fiber One Yogurt for breakfast, Original Apple and Spice oatmeal for lunch (not like any lowfat or anything),Drank 2L of water throughout the day and then had a super fattening dinner of Hibachi steak and shrimp with Mountain Dew to ruin all the hard work I did during the day (which is pretty common lol) AND I didn't go to the gym like I should have.... I always weigh myself in the mornings... convinced I ruined evrything with my fattening dinner binge and super high calorie soda, I dreaded stepping on the scale this morning, but I did it anyway. I almost fell off of it... I lost 3 Lbs... YESTERDAY. Now, I know on a detox diet, it's all mainly just bloat and stuff that left, but I needed it to go and I was already drinking a full 2L of water each day for over a week and a half and it wasn't doing poo for me. Whatever is in this stuff works! It makes me feel a little nauseas and jittery, yes, but I assume it's because I am putting things into my body that I am not used to. The side effects are better today than they were yesterday though.

I have one more question. Has anyone drank alcohol while taking the Orovo. I don't mean everyday, just maybe two or three beers on the week-end.

Well- I really appreciate all the input that you guys have given!!! It's so difficult to decide whether or not to start something like this! I'm the kinds of person that likes to lose weight based on my lifestyle and not some gimmick! I work out ALOT and eat pretty healthy, BUT I've had a fabulous 10 pounds pop up in the last 10 months (I'm not eating aaaassssss healthy!!!), and I am having SUCH a hard time getting it off! AND I've got a trip to Cabo in April!!!! SOOOOOO, I have to do something!!!!
I kinda feel like I'm cheating with this, but I'm hoping that I'll just get a few pounds off which will give me the encouragement to get the rest off on my own- we'll see!
I ordered O.D. yesterday (& yes, had it overnighted!!!!!)- I think it missed the shipping window yesterday, so I should get it tomorrow and my plan is to start on Friday!!!
I am going wine tasting over the weekend, and know that my eating habits won't be the best. My best friend is also a personal trainer and she told me that my body NEEDS a break, so I am also taking next week off of the gym. Fingers crossed that the OD will help everything balance out!!!
I have the same concerns as all of you, and it sounds like alot of your experiences are different, but I will keep you updated with mine!
Thanks again!!!

tweeters- Friday was day 7 for me on the detox, and friday night I went out and had a bunch of beers and a couple of mixers, and some shots (pretty much got trashed) and nothing happened to me. No unusual side effects or anything. In fact, I woke up 2 lbs lighter! Maybe I should drink all the time! (just kidding) So yeah, It didnt effect me any differently. I have also had no problems with bowel movements, no more no less, same as always. The first day I urinated like every 5 mins but thats about it as far as spending time in the bathroom. I was also afraid i would get the craps but I didnt. Hope this was helpful!

Day 2 and so far so good! I didn't start the twins on the program because I wanted to guinea pig on myself first, but I did get my best friend and my mom to start with me on Tuesday. I didn't tell my friend or my mom what to expect because I didn't want them to "experience" something just because I told them they might, so they started OD with no expectations at all. It has been very interesting because between the three of us, we have had all of the experiences that have been outlined above, but none of us has had the same experience. I have had no naseau, no cramping, and no sleep disturbance but also no enormous energy surge. All three of us have experienced a loss of appetite and the feeling of being full after eating half our normal portion. I lost 2 pounds the first day (and I don't think it was water weight as I regularly take a diuretic for high bp) and i can tell a difference in the size of my abdomen. I did have very productive bathroom visits, but no urgency or pain. My friend, has had enormous amounts of energy, a little cramping, and some sleep disturbances but feels absolutely great. She is a tennis pro and spent about 10 hours teaching today and still has a great deal of energy....thats a testimony right there!!! My mom didn't listen to me and since I gave her the bottle at lunch, she took the first round at lunch and the second at dinner....this morning she called to say "sign me up for this stuff!!!" Apparently she woke up at 3:00 a.m. and was ready to pay the bills, clean the house and chop wood. Luckily she stopped just short of chopping wood, but really felt a change in energy. She has no idea if she lost any weight since she didn't weigh herself to begin with. My husband just came home from a business trip and will probably try OD too, so I will let you know a male perspective if he does!!! All in all, I can say this, none of the above comments are bogus, whether this proves to be a great weight loss aid remains to be seen, but the energy and appetite suppressing effets are real although not experienced by everyone! I am convinced it is for real and plan to follow through for at least several rounds to see where it takes me!!! Good luck to all of you, I will keep you posted on our end of the world....I know your feedback has certainly helped me, so I hope our perspective helps you~!

So day one is over- I took the 7dfb and the orovo detox becuase I just read Xiozen's post - so I WON'T do that tomorrow. Thanks for the advice Xiozen! Luckily I didn't experience any adverse side effects. In fact I didn't experience any effects at all really. No added energy like some of you guys have had but no nauseous either. I was kind of hoping to have a surpressed appetite but I was hungrier today than normal and I drank 4 liters or water which I thought would make me feel bloated but nope - I was super hungry today. It didn't help that my office brought in catered food for lunch today becuase for some reason I can't resit free food no matter how bad it is for me. So bad!! I must be better tomorrow! I didn't weigh myself today so I won't know if I've lost any weight but I will tomorrow. I'll keep you guys updated. :)

Hey guys congrats again to everyone experiencing positive results w/ Orovo Detox / 7DFB. This stuff is incredible... it stays in your system during the 7 days off which is pretty awesome, so it's working when you're not taking the pills; just don't lose faith and start eating unhealthy during your off week. It's important to maintain a steady exercise routine and continue to drink a healthy supply of water during the off week as it is during the on week. (If you're not sure whether it's still in your system during your off week, compare your stool ((disgusting I know, but it's the "test")) to your stool during your on week. It should look the same.)

Hey everyone! As always, I was reading over everyone's posts and thinking to myself of my own reactions. For those concerned about the side effects of nausea, etc... I think mine has to do with how my body handles an abundance of caffiene. If you are worried about the same thing happening, maybe try the decaf versions instead. I feel the same way I do after drinking a cappuccino on an empty stomach. I don't think it's the rest of the ingredients causing my issues and could be why other people are not experiencing them like I am. Their body may handle the caf intake better than mine. Just a thought!

Hi everyone! I read a lot of the comments and really wanted to read what everyone was going through while they were on Orovo. So despite all of the negative feedback, I am going to go ahead and give it a try and post my opinion about how this is working for me. Hopefully this will help others in their decision making process. I have just purchased my order today so don't have it yet but when I do get it, I will be sure to post my reactions.

Currently I am dieting. With my pregnancy I went from 180 lbs to 250 lbs. With diet and exercise I was able to go down to 220. Somehow I managed to get my weight back up to 233 and so have started dieting again. This time I have a lot of support from my husband and my co-workers. We have a weight loss challenge at work that is going on through April. So far I have gone from 233 to 227.8. That is with me cutting out bread and joining curves. Since I work and have a big family, there is no time for me to work out. So I finally decided to join Curves and work out Monday, Wednesday and Friday for half an hour during my lunch break.

I realize that this is a lot of information but I will treat this as therapy on my end. So my goal is to get under 200. Ironically enough I was never over 200 until I had my son. Here are my goals:

immediate goal - 220
with Orovo detox - 210
next goal - 200
final goal - 180
ultimate goal - 160

We will see how it goes..... so far soo good.

For all of the people that are dieting and eating healthy and making efforts to lose weight, I commend you. It takes a lot and I have always said doing something is better than nothing. We have to take care of ourselves and be good to ourselves. So Kudos to all!!!!! smile

Hi! i wish i had found this blog sooner, it would have made my decision so much easier!!

I've tried a few diet pills before like hydroxicut(horrible caffeine rush and for people with a weak stomach like myself poison..), alli in other words diarrhea pill, and even some ilegal pills that i found online and were also really bad for people with a weak stomach. So i just hope this is heathier for my body.

My biggest problem is depression because when my depression starts to get worst i start loosing a lot of weight because my body just kind of shuts down and i can hardly eat, but when im somewhat healthy and as i am now under treatment my metabolism cant handle that im eating more and i start gaining weight, in just a month that im under treatment i've already gained 10 lbs, and i know its only gonna get worst, so hope this works as good or better than the other pills with less harm to my body.

i just received my orovo detox yesterday and i couldnt wait so i took in the afternoon, i had a har time swallowing these huge pills but i managed, it was burning a little at first because it has some type of pepper in it, but it went away quickly, i had a lot of energy and peed a lot...lol, now i know to never take it later on the day because i only went to bed at 3am after 2 tylenol pms, but i felt great. This morning i had a lot of energy but i still had a hard time with those pills so before lunch i decided to do a little experiment and opened the 4 gel capsules and mixed it with water...ewww, i know it was bitter, spicy and 2nd most disgusting thing i ever drank in my life 1st being charcoal syrup... long story, but anyway the huge capsules are much better than what i did....lol.

I dont know if i lost any weight yet bc im only going to weight myself at the end of the 1st cycle, but i will keep you guys posted to my progress....

Ok - so day two seemed normal but why am I the only one that seems to have a HUGE increased appetite. I feel like I ate like a horse today and still couldn't get full. There's no way I'm going to loose wieght if I eat like this!! Anyone have any good ways to surpress your appetite - I've tried all the tricks in the book, chewing gum, drinking broth, drinking tea...nothing seems to work for me??? So today, I only took the Orovo Detox and drank about 3 liters of water and felt completely normal - still no side effects good or bad really, although I had a little bit of trouble sleeping last night and I'm still up tonight even though I need to be up in 4 hours. I still haven't had a chance to weigh myself - I try not to keep those mean scales around but I really want to know whether or not I'm loosing weight so I'll probably wiegh myself tomorrow - although after my feast of eating today I'm kind of scared.

I just finished my 1st 7 days on orovo detox. I haven't lost any weight.. glad you mentioned the side effects. I've had some nausea, some mild cramping and problems sleeping. I have 80 lbs to lose. I hurt my back in '93 and can't exercise.
The 80 lbs is the result of the no exercise after a lifetime of being very physically active! I do have energy increase. I am glad to find this site because there wasn't anything sent with the pills to let one know what to expect. I am on a
lot of pain meds, mood meds ane sleep meds already and I have been concerned about the stuff that was going on with me. I enjoy reading of your experiences.. reminds me of a time I went to some diet program with a friend of mine years ago. The 'fat' ladies gave me some ugly looks until they found out I was there just to drive my friend there. My friend had been on the program for 2 weeks and as they went around the circle with each telling how much they had lost, my friend said "I have lost $28 so far!!" .. I sort of know how she felt now that I haven't lost any weight, but I am still trying
to get used to the stuff and won't quit just yet. Thanks for putting your experiences with OROVO detox on line..

I weigh myself daily and I'm going away for the weekend, but I weighed myself this morning and will again when I get back (from a weekend of drinking and I'm sure plenty of eating- OH NO!!!!) on Sunday- it will probably be the first thing I do!!!! So, my fingers will be crossed that even if I don't lose, PLEASE just don't go up!!!!

Have have spent the last couple hours reading through the comments. I ordered my Orvo Detox yesterday and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival. I have always battled my weight - usually being 20 pounds overweight. However, the last few years I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. I am on medication for it and am in the "normal range" now, however nothing I do helps me lose weight. I exercise for at least 20-30 minutes 4-5 times a week. Have a Carnation shake for breakfast (only 5 weight watcher points) and a salad with ff dressing at lunch and a tiny dinner. I still continue to GAIN weight. Doctor won't do anything because my blood test show my thyroid is "fine". I am wondering if anyone has a thyroid problem and has had success with Orovo Detox?

Hi--trust me--my skinny ass sister is losing more than I am. Of course she is making a better effort with correct diet and exercise, which I am still trying to do.

"I'm a man and scared of something can I lose fat from my ummm... personnal part?"

Skgui

If I can lose my boobs, you can probably end up with a slimmer ummm...personal part.

Personally--I will be glad to loose my over-sized under-used jugs. I am tired of bras that look like they could save a life in a plane crash. The first time I caught my darling daughters playing siamese twins with their cute little heads wearing my bra as a shared hat was when I realized excess is not always a good thing.

So don't mourn the loss of a fat penis, it aint worth the heart attack that might ensue maintaining something a real woman probably would never miss.

After my hasty answer back to you I thought a quick google search was in order to be as factual as possible. From menshealth.about.com, came this little interesting tidbit;

Question: Can a penis get smaller permanently?

Answer: Yes. When someone is overweight or obese the penis can appear to get smaller and look as though it has shrunk. Usually when weight is lost the penis size will return to its previous size.

So hmmm might be better off after the Orovo.

About the ten pound weight loss limit, the second poster on this forum had this to say; "I have been using this product for 2 1/2 months and have lost a total of 14 pounds." So someone has lost more than ten pounds, but I am with you. It sure would be a boost to hear from anyone else who has lost over ten. Keep posting and hope this answers your hmmm. . .personal questions.

My husband is on it full steam ahead and while he has had no ill side effects, he hasnt had an energy surge either. We are pretty high energy people and consume a fair amount of caffiene regularly - wonder if that is why???? I also bought some other Orovo products if anyone is interested...their sleep aid - definitely works! I took 2 (rather than the 3 recommended) and slept until 10 am this morning...ooops! My son plays high school football so we purchased some workout aids to help recover after weight lifting. If anyone is interested in those products we are happy to share our experiences!!!

Momma 10s--glad to be back. I am going to start back up in the morning, too, so we will see. I am also thinking about doing a little single person study in the way of trying out all those other products in the back of my cabinet that I spent good money on--but gave up on. I will do this in my off cycle of course. I have quite a bit of Max Strength Hoodia Sure Rapid gel and almost a half bottle of Natural Max Super Diet Max capsules. I gave up on both products because they didn't make me lose even a pound in the two weeks I took them and I did diet and exercise, but--and this is a very big butt(lol)--I was not drinking the water I have been drinking with the Orovo. So,I will do my little test and see if it makes all the difference in the world or if the Orovo comes out the winner.

I am curious about the sleep aid you are taking. Could you list the ingredients? Sounds like it would be worth investigating. I am kind of a life time insomniac, even though I seem to sleep better when I am on cycle. I will probably always have a little sleep deprivation because I have always been too afraid to take anything for it and I think I am used to the idea of four hours of sleep max. If I catch any more z's than that, I feel tired for the rest of the day.

Also--a question for the poster above--what product were you taking, the detox or the fat burner, when you ended up with diarrea? I am still curious about the fat burner.

To Gujuness; I like the way you have set your goals to be realistic. I need to do that, too. I think we sometimes set the bar way too high and that is why we fail.

To David; OMG--that had to be a pretty HOT drink, lol. I accidently got one of my orovo capsules wet before swallowing it and picked it up and shoved it down the hatch with some water and I swear, I had a panic attack when it started burning a path down to my stomach. Seriously--I could feel it all the way down. Kudo's to you for being able to try them again after that yechy little cocktail. Good luck and please keep posting.

I am glad I found this site. I ordered Orovo 10 days ago, and have not received it yet. I have called the cust. service number twice without any luck either. I just sent an email, and I guess I'll have to wait and see... I am having serious doubts about this. I am glad it has worked for you, but I just don't know what to think. Well, I am thinking that may be I should have buy them at ebay. Oh well... We'll see. Good luck!

Hello everyone.

I just received my 7DFB and Orovo Detox on Friday. I weight myself before I started but will wait out the week to see if I've lost anything. I'm doing the 7DFB first. I've had no side effects with taking it but I've been really good about drinking the water. Going to the bathroom alot and peeing, but that's a good thing. I'll let you know Friday if and how much I lost on my first week.

HI EVERYONE! Im lady bug 32 years old and I have gained weight from being lazy and over eating. I work out 3 days or more a week of cardio and group fitness calsses.
Congrats on your decision to lose weight. I am trying to do it myself. I see a lot of people on here who are in the early stages of the wight loss. For example just getting/ordering/starting the pills, is there anyone on here who has been on the pills for more than 1 bottle 2 cycles and would be comfortable comment on your weight loss? Biotch hunter I see you have gone through 2 weeks anyone else? I would appreciate any information youc an provide. All bodies are different and I know side effects are different for everyone, but we are all here for the results. What weight loss have you seen? Have you kept it off? Could people post their time on orvo and the weight loss and cycle of pills they are on? Thank you so much! Id really like to start the pills along with my work outs. I weigh 170 lbs and ideally I'd like to be 130 by summer?? Is that even possible?? My boyfriend just bought a boat and my first thought was great now you will expect me to put on a bathing suit!

OK... I read all of the blogs posted and I've read about 5 zillion weblinks. I finally made the purchase. So far I have heard about endless peeing, weird poop cycles and headaches. My only question will be this; Are there any other side effects associated with the use, specifically during or after intense exercise? I am one of those former athlete guys who still works out, but cannot shed the 15 lbs to show the abs or maintain a healthly level of old man bravado. I figure since my age (44) and metabolism moved me into the old guy zone, I needed a little help getting back to (or close to) my goal weight and shape. Any feed back is greatly appreciated.

OK guys. After selling like 70 bottles of the 7DFB on Ebay in 10 days(and finding Ebay's fees take away all of any type profit plus some) I decided to go into business for myself. To anyone out there reading this forum who wants to try Orovo, but doesn't want to pay retail AND doesn't want to join (or is maybe up in the air about joining), you can visit www.orovoslimdown.com and buy everything for less there. The prices for the Orovo, Orovo Detox, 7DFB and an Orovo Original/7DFB combo package are comparable, if not better than prices on Ebay right now. I made sure of it. You can check my Ebay feedback (ID: Mystisy19) and see that I have sold many Orovo products and always there was fast shipping and great service. My own site lets me save on Ebay fees and pass the savings onto everyone else (go ahead, look at buying multiple 7DFB bottles on Ebay... for 2 bottles on my site, it'd be $17.97.. that INCLUDES shipping). Look at Ebay and see if you can find it for less. I doubt it.

As you can tell by previous posts, I am also a USER of Orovo Detox. I stand behind the product. I have had really great success so far and it's only been a week. Also, please note for anyone looking to take the combo-pack.. it is for Orovo Original and 7DFB... the Orovo Detox and 7DFB are not really intended to be used together and you will not get the best results.

I really love this stuff and think it will help lots of people out there like me who struggle. I'm not saying it works miracles, but it definitely provides motivation and help.

I use to be 335 pounds at one point. I started dieting and going to the gym 5-6 days a week for about 5 1/2 to 3 hours every everyday. I changed my diet dramaticly and turned Vegan for the fist 6 months. I got my protien from soy products. I lost 100 pounds in six months of dedication and hard work. I countued my success with weight loss over a 3 year period. I drooped from 335 to 206 and then I started adding on lean body mass. I got back up to 235 pounds and only 8% body fat. I was in tip top condition and never felt better, and I did this all without ever taking one single supplement. After a while life strated catching up with me. I got engaged my job started to get more and more demanding and I started puting on a bunch of weight and I lost a bunch of leaness. I'm back up to about 265 and I am will to do anything to just drop it all off again. I don't know if Orovo works or not but I decided to buy a bottle of it anyway with the hopes that it does help me lose weight faster but it is also playing a roll as a motivator to get my butt back in the gym. Some supplements do work some don't. Most critics just go off of things that they hear about them and decide to rag on these products without ever trying them their selves. If there's one thing that you need to know about supplements is that they are the best motivators out there. The moment someone pops that first pill into their body there is a feeling of excitment that fills them up and gets them excited. Dieting then doesn't seem so bad and most of the time I thinks starts to work for a person that previously had no success.

Received my pills in the mail yesterday: Orovo and 7DFB
I weigh 141, I'm 5ft 8, 24yrs old.
About a month ago I decided to try to lose about 10lbs. I started working out atleast 5xs a wk and started eating more healthy(ie, all natural foods or atleast foods with all natural/organic ingredients). I stopped eating beef and tried to cut out all the sweets. I was 144lbs. But my weight loss has taken a stand still and I have not been able to get any more off. I have attempted to stop eating past 7pm, but I am shot with the hunger pain until I go to bed. You can imagine what it feels like to wake up after feeling starved the night before.
I decided to try Orovo to see if it would help curve my appetite, while continuing with my workout/diet regimen. I would like to get down to weighing what I did when I got married 3yrs ago, 130. We'll see how it works out.
I took 6 7DFB + 2 Orovo this morning, 30min before eating with a buttload of water(34oz). I ate a Fiber one bar and a cup of "Simply" apple juice for bfast. Hopefully I wont be hungry again until lunch.....I'll keep you updated.

Well, I've read everyone's experience and still have some questions of my own. I bought mine on Ebay, so I am desparately afraid that I missed out on some secret instruction sheet.
Yesterday was day 3, and my scale registered a 2 pound loss. Yeah!! Major let-down when this morning the 2 pounds were back. Did I miss out on some secret? I'm drinking all of the water and eating exactly 30 minutes after. I do notice some appetite is gone and also an increase in energy. I am sleeping okay, and don't have any "unpleasant" side effects in the bathroom, thank goodness. I am wondering if anyone has been through their first cycle and also noticed a slow-start, like me???????

When I had to borrow my mom's clothes to go on vacation, I made my decision. Within a year, I weighed 109. Exercise and healthy eating was all it took. I have kept my weight perfect until this last year. My dad was diagnosed with a terminal disease, and too many days and nights sitting around hospitals have put almost 30 pounds on me. Less workout time and venidng machine meals have ruined it all. Please please please let OD work!!

Hi everyone,
It's been really helpful reading through all your entries. I bought Orovo Detox from Ebay and it arrived nearly a week ago. I took 4 capsules with loads of water half hour before my breakfast of cereal and actually felt fine, didin't notice any side affects at all. I did the same half hour before my lunch but after about an hour and a half I felt really strange! I can't say it was an enjoyable experience! It made me very jittery and almost panicky which scared me. Another side affect I've experienced is being quite tight chested (maybe because I've felt panicked) but it's not great when I'm trying to run on the treadmill! Had some nausea late afternoon/evening and really didn't want my dinner!
Saying this it did make me feel better in the morning, lifted my mood and has given me more energy. But because I was a bit worried I stopped taking them. I know alot of people have experienced feeling jittery/strange, just wondered if anyone carried on feeling like this for the whole 7 days and what one of the ingredients may cause it? I'm 154lb's and really need to lose at least 30lb's! smile

So I am hoping this feeling goes away...cause I need to stay focussed and have energy to get my work done.

Nausea hit VERY hard...and I have been horizontal for the rest of the day, and VERY woozy. I did not take the lunch portion - I can't wait to get this out of my system. I wish I could blame my wieght gain on pregnancy - at least that's totally understandable. I've gained 10 pounds in the last couple months beucase I have the most ridiculous sweet tooth!! It also doesn't help that I'm opening a bakery so taste testing has been out of control. I'm now on day 6 of the Orovo Detox and unfortunately not a single pound gone. :( I'm actually feeling super bummed becuase when I got weighed at the doctor on Friday I was up 2 lbs but then yesterday back down 2 lbs so all in all I'm the same 131 from when I started. I must admit my eating wasn't all that great this weekend but I've really tried my hardest to stay away from the sweets - anyone know anyone in San Diego willing to sacrifice as taste testers?? :) I'll continue taking it but I'm seriously considering skipping the off cycle and taking the 7dbf instead - anyone know if that's really bad? I really didn't experience any negative side effects, except I totally get that burning feeling when I first take them that just goes away after downing a liter of water.

Hi everyone! I have been reading all your remarks on the Orovo program. I started it today. I have just the original kind that says take 1-2 before breakfast and 1-2 before lunch. I always drink a ton of water during the day. I used to be 110 lbs., but the almost 50 got the best of me and I can't seem to get rid of the middle section! I now am 133 lbs. For 5 years I have tried everything. I have ADHD so I am backwards in my system then the normal person. Speed slows me down where relaxers pick me up. I diet and I gain weight or just stay the same. When I am depressed, I gain. I take Zyrtec and a prescribed water pill for water weight. I am a salt aholic! I also ordered the fat blocker to go with these but they haven't arrived yet. Today I followed the directions and I felt no jitters, I was totally alert and did not feel hungry. I am always hungry! This might be a good one for people with hyperactivity disorder. I have irritable bowel syndrome also, no gas and I was normal for the first time in years! Yikes! Only my first day though. I will keep ya posted. Have a great one!

Oh one more thing, I am not dieting or excercising with this, I will drink and eat anything I feel like, or what's the use in taking a pill to make it all go away. Why waste our money when you can do that anyway. I hope it is the miracle pill. I just thought that it had a lot of great things in it and it wouldn't hurt to try it (if it cured some of my other problems). So far cocktails haven't affected the way I feel. I have a stressful business, so after work I like to sit down and enjoy a relaxing drink. I haven't felt like eating though, so thats a plus. TTFN

I've only been pee-ing alot. Only time I had to USE the restroom.. was the first day. is that bad?? I haven't weighed myself. I'm waiting for my 7day cycle to end. Although I'm thinking if I'm in the slow process should I even take a week off?? they said because you can lose weight too fast at an unhealthy rate.. but what if I didn't really lose anything? Orovo + 7DFB
So, to update on yesterday(my first day)....I was hungry after my morning dose/breakfast. I snacked on nuts. Worked out(45mins on the eliptical and 15mins of weights). Took my lunch dose, 30min before lunch. I couldn't finish my meal, which was a good start I thought. I did have to snack on another Fiber One bar because I was hungry. Then for dinner my husband and I ate at an Italian rest. We had the most amazing pizza, but I could only eat a pc and a half.
I have not experienced the jittery, tingly or dizzy sensation that others have. Just really really really bad stomach pain. Which I finally recognized it as gas. Really really really bad gas. I have experienced gas, cramp(considering) and stomach pain(from a fisher in my colon and hemorrhoids). So, needless to say I was very aware of what was wrong....especially after I woke up in the middle of the night to the rumble of the bed from the gas that was exerted from my body. Man it felt good. I did have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep, but that could be from my stressfull life....and everything that happened yesterday at work, plus my neck pain(from Shingles that I am still trying to get over) and back pain(from running). Which both are from stress, from what I have read and researched.
I feel fine this morning. Oh and I am 140.2, so about a pound down from yesterday.

Beta: I would assume that maybe your pain was gas? I could be wrong, but next time you feel it try laying down on your left side. This is a trick that has always worked for me. ??

I didn't have a very good first week, nausea, jitters, no increase in energy, but now the side effects are gone (because I'm off the 7dfb?) and I have lots of energy. My skin also looks a little clearer, and I just feel better overall. I'm going to stick with it and see if more weight comes off. I'm thinking maybe I'll do the 7dfb once a month, as well.

Well, friends, I am about to give up. Rushed to the scale this morning only to find I have gained a pound and a half. I weigh more, on day 6 than I did when I began. What is the deal??!! I workout regularly, and I eat right. I take all four pills and drink a lake full of water every day. Any suggestions?

Oh, and I eat 4 small meals a day without snacking and I never eat past 7pm.

5ft 3in 38 year old woman with active lifestyle ( spin 3 times a week plus 2 hours of dog walking a day)
Starting weight: 154lbs (eeeeeeek)
Current weight: 140lbs (Jenny Craig)
Goal: 125-130lbs

First found this site after researching whether to take orovo and 7day DFB together; don't think I will after reading the posts on here - thanks for the info everyone.

REASON FOR USING OROVO DETOX:
I have very little will power and have a real sweet tooth. I want to lose about another 10-15 vanity pounds. I have lost weight successfully on phentermine in the past but hated the jitteriness and decided that i needed to go "au naturel". Joined Jenny Craig and, after losing my first 10 lbs, hit something of a plateau (also cheated quite a lot - I LOVE food). Tried Alli - no good for me (why take a fat blocker when you're eating less fat anyway? Isn't SOME fat needed for a healthy diet?)

EXPERIENCE:
Took Orovo for first week and lost 3lbs that week (REALLY happy), after remaining the same or going down only 0.5lb in a week on JC only. Psychological or the real thing? Don't know. All I know is that when I take the Orovo, I am more inclined to stick to my Jenny Craig plan. On my week off, I got the nibbles back and didn't feel any long-lasting effects from my previous week on the pills. Isn't it supposed to stay in your system? Back on the Orovo this week (started monday 17th March) and again I have managed to stick to my JC plan all week. My tester skinny pants are definitely looser but official weigh-in is tomorrow.

SIDE EFFECTS:
- Sleeplessness on the first day of cycle, (happened BOTH cycles I have been on so far) but back to normal for rest of week. (I take the 2nd dose no later than 1
pm)
- Slightly looser stool and more urgent need to go when the time came - but no increase in the number of times i had to go (like Alli - urgghh)
- Slight jitteriness after first dose in morning but nothing too hideous and short-lived
- No noticeable difference in skin (came off the pill in January and pimples returned); pimples are still here and fine lines look no different

Not sure if it's the Orovo that's working or it's the psychological effect of taking it that's helping me stick to my plan. Either way, in my opinion, the Orovo is working nicely as an additional boost to my calorie-controlled diet and has definitely helped me move past a frustrating plateau.

Thanks for the generous comment. I absolutely love this site, but I felt guilty about all the space I was taking up, so I posted a small donation to the site from the button at bottom of page.

I love reading all the posts and hope everyone keeps it up because it is super motivational. I am impressed at the amount of info people are willing to divuldge on this site. Thanks everyone because you are helping us all by being so honest.

I hope you don't give up because although you only missed 3 capsules by my math (you are on day six, right?) the dosage might be all important and the eight a day for seven days could be the key. Anyway--good luck whatever you choose and please let us know if you find a better aid.

I feel the same exact way, like I have more motivation when I am on them than off. This week is my crappy little experiment week, where I am going to test out all the other things in my cabinet. I decided since I was low on the detox--I might as well start my experiment week. I didn't do this until Tuesday morning and took the Orovo Monday, but only took four. I weighed 3 pounds less Tuesday morning, even with the half dose. What is with that? Not that I am complaining and I am still very suspicious. Is it just water magic? I don't think so because Tuesday--I went right into the Hoodia sure product and drank even more water and today--no weight loss and yesterday--I was hungry from the first dose to the last and felt like I had the flu. I ended up popping an advil (something I do maybe once a year if that)to get rid of the aches and pains and my Hoodia test is complete because I am not going to chance feeling that bad again today.

I can almost bet you are allergic to one or more of the ingredients. Hope you find something that works for you and if you do, please post the product's name and results.

chewie--I wish I lived closer to you. I have taste testing down to a science. Could probably bring home the gold in the taste testers Olympic's if there was one. Good luck with your bakery.

Hi girls & guys, day three on just the plain ol' Orovo. I am taking one pill before breakfast one after and one before lunch. I feel so alert and motivated. It even helps with my head cold I have, don't feel so sluggish. Here's the good news... I started at 133lbs and tonight I weigh 128 lbs. Makes me feel good about it. I really never have total hunger pains. I have cut down how much I normally eat because I am not that hungry and truly I have lost 5lbs. I don't know from where though, by the looks of it. My skin doesn't see to be a dry either. Still waiting for the fat blocker to get here though. I had a hard time sleeping last night. My mind was still alert. Napped a lot today.

Well, almost to the end of day 6, and all bad side effects are over. The big key for me was drinking 8 full oz. of water with each pill, each time. No side effects. No weight loss either. What's the deal?
