Orovo

Summary

Orovo is a diet product that claims to give you up to 10-15 pounds of weight loss in 7 days along with reductions of wrinkles lines and acne.

Description

Orovo was inspired by an Oprah program in which "10 super foods" were presented which give you "Age-Defying Beauty" by Dr. Nicholas Perricone. The wife of Orovo's CEO immediately tried these 10 super foods. While she didn't end up looking 10 years younger, she did lose 10 pounds and the acne she had struggled with was gone.

From that experience, Orovo was created. Of course, eating the 10 super foods was time-consuming and expensive. So, Orovo was created in pill form to condense all the essential ingredients in an affordable and easy to take form.

Orovo claims to give you 10lbs of weight-loss in 7 days, reduces lines and wrinkles as much as 90%, complete acne and blackhead cleared up in 30 days, while giving you motivation, happiness, and health and energy.

The 10 super-food ingredients are: Buckwheat, Alfalfa Sprouts, Lactobacillus Acidophilus (yogurt), Flaxseed, Garlic, Soybeans, Wheat Grass, Barley, Cayenne Pepper, and Acai. Orovo adds 4 more ingredients: Green Tea, Alpha Lipoic Acid, DMAE, and Idebennone.

Oh and another thing, Gosh I feel like I'm hogging the blog lol, if your not used to drinking a lot of water you might feel sick and bloated. I noticed other ppl having those symtoms. also if you have a hard time swallowing pills, as these are not the smallest pills on the planet, you might feel like you have heartburn. I have that whenever I take a lot of pills in a row so I try to spread them out over a 5 minute period. and I drink a lot of water in between to make sure they go down good. again sorry for hogging up all this space everyone!!

New starter - I shop at Trader Joes. I love that place. I bought my Omega there - they had a choice of one that is odorless so I go that one. I never go to the GNC or places like that. I am a little concern about all that I have read regarding Orovo. I ordered from them directly. So I hope I will not be one of the unlucky ones. They charged my card already. And I am hoping to receive it this week.

Yea eating healthy unfortunately is not helping me lose weight. I have never been like McDonalds for breakfast, Burger King for lunch...so it's very frustrating when you eat healthy and it does not work. Also portion control - I mean I can eat but I eat till I am good then I stop. Again, hopefully this Detox thing will help - I also have heard about clearer skin which will be a big bonus - have terrible blemished skin :( since 13 yo.

tedlix: I will definitely check into trader joes. thanks for the tip. and I agree with you on the healthy eating. I very rarely pig out on bad food so its hard to try and eat even healthier than you already do. and I hope you get your order this week. I went through an ebay seller named infodebac. he has 100% feedback and my OD came in 2 days. So if you or katy end up not getting yours and you are able to get a refund I'd recommend that guy. He is a great seller. and is reasonably priced. I hope that you get your order and can start seeing how great it is. I love it the energy levels are amazing. and Ive heard it helps clear skin as well so I hope that works for you. Good luck

I should be getting my order any day now- 1 bottle OD and 1 bottle 7DFB. You guys are talking about a lot of pills! Will one bottle of OD get me thru the 1st and 3rd week or am I going to have to buy a 2nd bottle?

Just adding my 2 cents...
My husband and I both started OD on Monday...4 caps twice a day...NOT a good day!! Jitters...dizziness...extreme nausea and stomach cramps...hot flashes...LOTS of "double-duty" bathroom trips...UGH!! It was REALLY hard to eat that day...it was difficult to do more that feel miserable...but we both dropped 4-5 pounds!!

Tuesday was better for me but I cut back to just 6 pills...hubby still did 8 and could not eat breakfast or lunch because of the upset tummy. Most of the effects seems to be gone by dinner time. Still down 5 pounds.

Today...day 3...I upped it back to 8 pills. Morning went well but this afternoon I am jittery again. Just VERY mild nausea this morning for me and I am eating normally though it does curb my appetite. I am peeing more than normal again today but I'm trying to keep up the fluids too. I finally feel up to working out today. Hubby is still pretty nauseated and has a hard time eating. He is also experiencing the warm, tingly feeling mentioned by others.
My weight was back up 2-3 pounds today. 8-( But hubby is still down...though he is only eating once a day. As we have not been working out I am sure this is just water weight loss/gain. Hopefully it will eventually turn into fat loss. I have 10 pounds to lose and hubby has about 15.

Also, I ordered our OD from orovostore.com. It cost $49.99 a bottle (without having to join the club) and I got it in 2 days.

Quick update...
Work-out caused dizziness, moderate to extreme nausea and gave me the shakes...had to quit after 30 minutes. We are not talking intense cardio here either...just free weights and an exercise ball.

I hope this side effect disappears over time!

I'm only 16 years old, but I feel the need to loose some weight. So I ordered the original caffeine free orovo and I'm on day three now. I haven't weighed myself yet, but I'm going to tomorrow morning. I'll let ya know!

p.s. I'm assuming some of you are exercising on top of this...just curious, how long are you exercising and what type of exercising are you doing?

Youngster: I hope you are consulting your doctor on this or at least a parent. Only because 16 is very young to already be using a pill. I know orovo is all natural but still. If you have great I'm glad you have support to get healthy and thats a good thing! exercise is very important with these pills. I usually do 30 minutes of cardio and then I get into the muscle building workout. Sit ups, push ups, leg lifts, weight lifting, and squats. your basic exercises. You don't want to over do it though. I usually do an intense workout one day and then the next day just take my dog for a nice easy walk and then go home and do stretching. The next day I will do an intense workout. You don't want to work your muscle hard every day. You have to let them heal a little before you work them again. And don't forget fluids!! lots of them. I just recently heard that after a workout you should eat something with sugar like a thing of smarties. I don't know if anyone knows those candies but they are the small little round ones lol. I think they are perfect. I can't honestly say why this is important but My finance' got this info out of his "workout book". Anywho good luck to you and keep every1 updated!

about working out, you should never do a 30 minute cardio before lifting weights. Do about 5 to 8 minutes to warm the muscles before lifting weights. The reason is your using your energy for your cardio and then when your lifting your weights your starting to use your proteins and you need that to build muscles *its like driving your car on fumes* fat is the last thing your body burn. You should always lift weights first then do your cardio or do cardio on a different day. You need at least 45 minutes of cardio constant cardio to really get your metabolism working.
you should do *chest, arms&shoulders, legs, back, and then do your cardio the last days and then start all over again. That way every day you have something different your working on and giving your muscles the rest they need in between workouts. 5-8 minutes warm ups and stretch inbetween sets.
ok that is my lesson for the day (-:

What about circuit training?? That's supposed to be a very effective way of working out...and burning fat...and it COMBINES cardio with weight training in one work-out. I have also researched some very effective work-out routines where the weight training IS the cardio as you use less weight but do more reps which really gets your heart pumping. Plus...building muscle burns fat!

Just out of curiosity...where do you get your information?? Because it contradicts most of what I have researched...and personally experienced...with proper methods of working out.

new starter: I haven't consulted anyone really, but a few friends, on the pills. But I have done my research and know that if I take them as directed, there really can't be negative side effects. I'm just looking for a way, along with exercise and a healthy diet, to loose weight before I get into my swimsuit this summer. Hahah! I've always been 'chubby' so I finally want to feel good about my looks...and now I'm rambling. Lol

max: I agree with working out different parts of your body on different days. I think I really just need to stick to one exercise regimine instead of switching because I'm frustrated.

Oh! Something that you guys might want to try! I've been working out right after I wake up, I mean RIGHT AFTER, and it gives me an extra energy boost and it helps speed up your metabolism for the rest of the day.

Gahhhh, loosing weight is so difficult.

*Another note: I haven't lost any weight yet :/ But starting tommorrow I'm going to start working out everyday. Except Saturday, I think. ^_^

posted 24-Apr-2008 8:29pm

two ways I get my info from. I was a body builder for years and the other I was a trainer. Circuit is not the same as lifting weights, its a good way to get started on it. Circuit training is for buring only you can not build muscles if you do not work all the muscles in the one group you are working. Say you are wotking out your chest area you have so many muscles in your chest and if you want to build muscles you need to work all of them and that takes a lot of energy to do that and you can't be using your energy for 30 minutes of cardio you will have nothing left, plus you have to wait at least 36 hours to do that muscle group again because what you are doing when you lift weights you are ripping your muscles to make them grow, and you need that time for repair. So you do one muscle group a day* like chest one day and the next arms & shoulders and then legs and then back, then take the next two days and do nothing but cardio.
BTW if you do legs that is the day you eat lot's of carbs and protein. Leg muscle is the largest muscles we have and it burns a lot when working legs. My leg press use to be 900 lbs. My back press was 250 lbs do you know many men that can do that. I was huge with muscles, my arm curls was 130 lbs.
circuit training does help if your looking burn and not build, and that is a big difference.
I do know what I'm talking about, not trying to be a smart*** I studied and taught weights for a long time. (:

Age has a big factor in weight gain and I'm there. I look much bigger then what I am because I had huge muscles and now I have fat around those muscles and its not looking pretty. (;

And I was just doing push ups and then with free weights I was doing a chest press and something like the pec-fly just with free weights. Thanks for your help

OK - I promised to update everyone on this board, but I just realized that I failed because it has been 1 1/2 weeks since my last post. Well, here goes anyway. I stopped taking Orovo after the thrid day because I was literally sick to my stomach. I felt jittery, hot, and miserable every day. I had awful gas and even vomited a few times. I teach high school, so after running out of my 5th period to go throw up in the trash can outside, I somehow convinced my students that I am now pregnant. I decided to stop taking the pills after that day to see if they were the reason for my yucky stomach and unpleasant side effects. I have felt great ever since. I am so bummed because I really wanted them to work. Maybe they still can, but I am skeptical and I don't want to put myself through that again. I thought I drank enough water (I always drink tons), so I doubt that was the problem. Even though I am hesitant, I will give them another shot and will take them tomorrow. I really want to lose those last 20 stubborn pounds. I watch my diet and exercise, I was just hoping Orovo would give me energy and give my weight lost a boost. If I feel sick tomorrow, I will probably hang them up. I do not like feeling rotten all day. If anyone else has felt like this and has had to stop taking them, have you lost weight on your own? That would be very encouraging to me. I know I can do it- I just want a success story to inspire me!

new starter those are good ones, here is another one for chest
lay on a flat bench hang your head slightly over the edge and take the dumbell holding with both hands from round edge up and put the dunbell on stomach and then go back as far as you can over your head and then come back up to stomach just the dumbell you do not raise.
That works the breast and chest, it will make them stand up again
it works the back of the arms and your abs. I hope you understand about laying down flat on bench and just lift the dumbell.
Also don't forget about laying on a bench at an angle and doing bench press your feet are higher then your head that works under the chest plate. Let me know what other body parts if you need help with.
Remember men and women bodies are different what works for men might not work for women and we have to do them a little different then men.

Thanks for the tips! I wasn't trying to be rude just getting contradicting info from you then I had heard/researched myself. Also, I'm a woman and not really looking to build muscle and be "ripped"...just more into toning and firming--swimsuit season is just around the corner! I am only 10 over my "happy weight" and obviously I need to lose the fat on my abs, hips and thighs before I can see the muscle tone. (And I'm really more concerend with size rather than weight as I know muscle weighs more than fat. As long as my clothes fit the way I like...then I'm not as concerned with what I weigh.) Circuit training was a good option for me as it kinda kills both birds with one stone...I try to do roughly an hour a day. Good--bad??

Any tips to really get those abs and the butt toned and hard...the quicker the better?? I have free weights, pilates and an exercise ball...I also have a treadmill and a stationary bike.

Glad you're here as reading from magazine and the web is nice and convenient but it's always a bonus when you have a live person to "talk" to and ask for advice! Hope you're planning on sticking around!!

Just checking in...

Thursday...Day 4 on Orovo Detox...GREAT day!!

Took 4 pills in the morning and worked out for 45 minutes without any side effects and I had tons of energy!!

I had a hard time sleeping Wed. night and took 3 calcium/magnesium/zinc caplets...dropped off to sleep in less than 30 minutes. Curious as to whether to attribute todays mood and over all feeling to the cal/mag/zinc. Research seems to be showing that it is effective in the following areas:

`Promote regularity and healthy digestion.
`Support a healthy heart.
`Support healthy blood pressure within normal limits.
`Maintain healthy blood sugar/glucose levels in conjunction with proper
diet.
`Support healthy and strong bones.
`Promote healthy breathing.
`Maintain mental and emotional well-being.
`Encourage calmness and lessen stress.

So I think I will make sure to take these before bed EVERY night!!

Took 4 OD at lunch...NO side effects at all!!

Had trouble sleeping again last night despite the cal/mag/zinc but this cold is KILLER!!

Today...Day 5...except for my stupid cold, I feel great.
Absolutely NO side effects from the pills but the diuretic/"flushing" effects seemed to have stopped as well and I'm now retaining water and swollen today.
My weight is back up 3 pounds. 8-[ Has anyone else experienced this??

I'm really drinking the water today and I add lemon to it as I've heard that it helps flush the system. Trying to avoid ALL salt as well and increase my fiber intake.

The last 2 days are so different than the first three...which were HORRIBLE...but I'm glad I stuck it out!! Two more to go then I start my off-week. It will be interesting to see what happens then.

Max...
As I've had 5 kids I'm anxious to see your tips on a good abdominal workout!!

take your ball and put up against a wall and some small dumbell in ech hands, put your back up against the ball and then squat, this will really work the butt, abs and legs. Do light weights to begin with because it will hurt the next day. Calves, and abs are the only two muscles you can work everyday.
another one for abs lay on your ball and hold on to one dumbell in front of you and do ab curls, that will really tone them up. Circuit trainging is great for toning, your right about that.
ok for thighs, either use the machine at the gym or you can do lunges,or the rope around the ankle and pull your leg out, or squats with your feet turned out and then turned in for the inside and out side of thighs. I will be hanging around if that's ok

I took my first pills today and they really make you feel alert and I love it other then that no problems so far. That is day one. Stay tuned (-:

I am so happy I found this Blog and see everyones posts. I started Orovo weight loss pills which I came across on e-bay about 8 days ago. I weight 282 pounds. I have alot of weight to lose. I quit smoking, started again, was extremely depressed, and I know I have to lose some weight and kick start this. Later I can try weight watchers again. With my busy work schedule. I need an appetite depressent. There is food all over my office, and I attribute most of my weight gain, from Pizza, ice cream, chocalate and sitting on my ass. I started Orovo at 289 pounds less then 8 days ago and have lost 7 pounds. I still have about enough for 6 more days as I take one or two before each meal. I am amazed at my decrease in appetitie and for some reason Orovo has made me rethink about what I should eat. It is making me less hungry. I was happy to say yesterday I had 2 diet slices of toast, with butter, and a bowel of healthy choice soup and I am satisfied. I will continue my update in a week. I just ordered my second bottle from E-bay paying 44.00 including shipping and if that can help me lose an additional 7 pounds, I will continue to buy this product to lose those first 50 unsighly pounds. Thank you for letting me post, and I wanted you to know I am very exited about this product. I have not reccomended it yet to my friends until I am on it for several months. Will check back next Sunday.

Oh--and Kyle--same to you. Maybe you and the Caps guy or gal can get together and come up with something that really works, and you can sell it to all of us 'FRUSTRATING' people.

But meanwhile, maybe you should take into consideration that the majority of the posters here seem to be intelligent enough to realize and even state--that there is no miracle diet pill. Most seem to be using the Orovo to kickstart into a healthier lifestyle.

And then along comes someone like you, who thinks we are all a bunch of idiots, and your razor sharp little tongue is going to make us see the light. Well, you know what--had you read ALL of the posts, you might have realized, this board is about much more than just the Orovo. It's about support and friendships with faceless people that might be right down the block or half a world away. It's about sharing experiences of what is working and not working, what we have learned to do and not to do, what we like and dislike about certain diets. It's about tapping into great resources in the way of people like Xiozen, max and tedlix, to name just a few. It's not about stating that everyone is a STUPID if they don't share the same point of view as you. If the Orovo is not working for you, maybe it is not working for you because your system is different than say, Mary Ann or Gingers system. Maybe that is why it is not working for you.

Would you like to know why it is not working for me? Maybe it is because I can't seem to make myself stay on them long enough to find out because sometimes I just do that. I flunk out. You think the people on this post are so frustrating? Geez--I wish I was your relative, I would drive you insane.

I leave you with this, something passed on to me by my mother, who had it passed on to her by her grandmother, who had it passed on to her by her--you get the picture-- IF YOU CAN'T SAY ANYTHING NICE (or constructive)--DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!

The caps were intentional. I never heard those words any other way. Conratulations and welcome to my family,Kyle. You have just been adopted.

Biotch Hunter. I am so glad you are back on this post. I had read your previous posts and you crack me up. I agree with everything you said about that Anonymous caps poster and kyle your new adopted son. I happen to love this blog. I have learned so much from so many different people. There is definitely no magic diet pill and I'm sure we all know this. We are people all in the same boat. We want to be healthier, look healthier, and be confident in our own skin. Anyone who comes on here and trys to ruin that is just an a**hole. How can a pill that detox's your body even be a scam? It clearly states exactly what its going to do and that would be detox your body. Hello? orovo DETOX? anybody else getting that hint? and if these people that are claiming its a scam have tried it maybe their body types are different that everyone elses. Hmm how strange out of the billions of people in the world you'd think that we would react differently. Apparently Anonymous and kyle had not thought of these facts before they exploded all over this blog. I cannot stand people like them that try and discourage people like us that are just starting out and maybe need encouragement!! I know this pill is not going to just make me lose 20 pounds without doing other stuff. Yea I need to workout and eat healthy too but what moran wouldn't know that! it's labeled on every single diet pill!!! Maybe some people are using this pill as a jumpstart but sad people that have nothing better to do than bring other people down just assume that everyone on this blog is taking this pill because they think its magical. Most people are more intelligent than that! Ok now that I've gotten that out heres my update:

I'm sorry to all I was keeping in contact with. I know I havent blogged in a few days. Busy weekend. Anywho yesterday was my last day of my first week. I have to say it was my worst out of every day. I wasnt as energetic and didn't want to get out of bed. I felt a little sick to my stomach as well. I have lost a little over 5 pounds though and can't wait to see what happens next week when I restart. Today feels like a normal day no side effects no urge to pop a pill and its my first day of my off-week.

Max: I did try those exercises you recommended wow that one where you lay on the bench and lift the weight up and over was great. I loved it. I could as you say feel the burn.

megamommiex5: I may not be the best at giving advice but I've found that this exercise is great for abs:

Take a 5 pound weighted ball to start. stand with your feet hip width apart. hold the ball straight out in front of you and then turn from side to side. Try to keep your hips in place as much as you can. I believe the more stable you keep your hips and legs the better workout your abs will get. and try to go slow. I started with a 5 lb weighted ball because its pretty light but increase as needed.

I am so glad for the comments you guys have made to Kyle. You took the words out of my mouth. I am just starting out and I don't need an someone like him around to try to discourage you. I'm already feeling better and I have digestive problems usually and I'm not at this point which amazes me. I still want to know, What's the difference between Orovo Original and Detox and how many 7DFB's should we take a day? Is the detox sopposed to be better because I have the original. Oh well, we'll see.

Saturday and Sunday...Day 6 and 7...of week one.
Saturday was rough. The morning was fine but I was nauseated all afternoon and evening but I didn't have time to work out that day either. I'm not sure why but it was not fun.

Sunday was great!! No nausea...lots of energy!! I did some target toning exercizes but nothing intense. My abs and thighs are still pretty sore from my workout on Friday!

AND...my cold is finally going away!! I slept GREAT last night!! YAY!

It feels strange not taking the pills today...though I still have lots of energy (so far)...and I'm nervous for what the week will bring. The scale scares me...I may have to tell my hubby to hide it!! But, I plan on hitting the workouts hard this week and really burning some fat. I'm also trying to watch what I eat...and I'm going to supplement my off-weeks with Green Tea to keep my metabolism up. I DO think it's foolish to assume we can just pop 8 pills a day...eat junk food and lay around...and still lose "real" weight. It's gonna take some effort on my part as well. And if these pills give me some incentive to do that...then they DO work!

Katy: Not "gaining" weight...I started at 163 and lost 4 pounds of WATER weight in the first day and one more the second day. I say WATER weight as I don't think it's possible to burn 5 pounds of fat in less than 24 hours...nor is it healthy!! I saw that WATER weight coming and going as the week progressed depending on what I ate...french fries are NOT my friend!!
Yesterday was the 7th day of my first week on OD and I ended it at 160 pounds...so there was a solid 3 pound loss from the beginning of the week as I never hit 163 again. I only have 8-10 pounds to lose though so I know it's going to be a PITB to really get them off. Those last 10 pounds always are. 8-[
Orovo claims that you lose more each session you take it. So, we'll see what happens during my second week of pills starting on May 5th!

Also, if you are working out then you will likely be toning or buidling muscle and muscle weighs more than fat so there is the potential to actually gain weight but still lose size. You should take your measurements as well as weigh yourself...it's more accurate.

New Starter: THANKS for the tips!!! I don't have a weighted ball...but I have free weights. It looks like Max has some good tips too. I can't wait to try them all.

Trish: Thats great that your feeling better. The difference that ive researched is that oringinal orovo is the 10 superfoods put into one pill. The detox has all 10 superfoods but then 20-30 detoxifying agents in it as well. So orovo oringinal is just a diet pill where as orovo detox is a diet pill and a detox. as for the 7dfb, I did not get that one because of the amount of pills you have to take. if you are taking the orovo oringinal which is 4 pills 30 min b4 breakfast and 4 pills 30 min b4 lunch with the 7dfb your supposed to take 1 pill with the orovo each time. so a total of 10 pills a day. It should have intructions right on the bottle. I can't personally say that oringinal is better than detox because ive only taken the detox. and I think orovo is a great product in general so it would be personal preference to decide which is better.

megamommiex5: Not a problem and yes max has great tips I did try that exercise with the bench I love it lol. And I think you and I started the od on the same day because yesterday was my 7th day on my first week as well. Im interested to see how my second week on goes.

Katy: what could be happening is water weight like megamommiex5 said. You just might not have gotten to the lose part yet. If you were not used to a lot of water intake your body could be taking in a lot of water and storing it. Which can cause the bloating and extra weight gain. To be honest it sounds like thats what it is. and I love the myth of it could be that your gaining muscle weight, and im not here to discouage, but the average woman gains maybe 1 pound of muscle weight a month. so more than likely youve got some extra water weight. It shouldn't stay too long and be relatively easy to get rid of. Good luck

posted 28-Apr-2008 11:20am

The first 8-10 pounds you lose will be water weight. Here is the thing just like food if you don't drink or when you skip a meal your body will hold on to it because it's afraid it won't get anymore so its storing it. That's why your suppose to drink lot's of water so your body will release the water its holding onto, same with food if you skip a meal your body will hold on to the food for safe keeping. That's why don't skip meals and why most people gain their weight back because their body was holding onto the food source.
Eat small meals at least 5-6 times a day, your body can digest it better then large amounts of food at a time and it won't just be sitting there and get stored. It's like a car keep it full and it runs better *not stuffed* if your body has food coming in, it has no reason to hold onto the food for safe keeping, same with water.
After the first 8-10 pounds you lose that is your real weight you are. The rest was water weight. It's not a bad thing at least you got rid of that extra pounds you didn't need.
I wish everyone on here the best and I hope we all lose what we want and need to lose, me included. (:

PS... water will clear the skin, and lubricate the joints....

OH!! So I am already my happy weight of 150...I just have 10 pounds of WATER (not fat) stored?? I like the thought of that. lol ;o)

BUT...What are the chances of that water weight coming back during the week we are off the detox pills?? What is going to keep the system "flushing"? That is my biggest concern and fear.

Otherwise, it will just be a giant yo-you process...lose 5-gain 5-lose 5-gain 5...

When/Why does it stop becoming just water weight loss and actually start being fat loss??

I've just finished the first week of orovo detox. I'm hugely disappointed, as I haven't lost even half a pound. I'm 30, second child is 2 years old, and I haven't been able to stick to a diet long enough to lose the weight I gained with my second child. I'm about 40 pounds heavier than I'd like to be, so I was really hoping this would work. I feel like I shouldn't wait a week before starting the second round, like I should just pretend that week didn't happen, since nothing did happen. Have any of you gone ahead with your second week without a break in between? Btw, no side effects either. No sleep loss, no extra trips to the bathroom. I just pee a lot, but I would anyway from all the water.

after the water weight that you lose that is the start of the real weight you want to lose. There will always be anywhere 5-8 pounds of lose and gain of your weight. That is normal. That is one of the reasons its so hard to lose weight. Once you lose the water weight begins the actually start of the weight loss. Just try to find something active to do. Keep moving as much as possible keep your body going. Anything is better then nothing.

So far no side affects except the terrible headaches from Orovo it must be from the Dandelion, and its a whopper of a headache. If this keeps up I may not be able to continue taking OD can't stand the headaches enough to take it. But it does keep me from bing hungry and that is a good thing and its a great diuretic. I will try one more day and see if the headaches continue....

I am very worried about all the side effects I have been reading. So I am crossing my fingers and toes that I do not have the effects or very little of it. I normally drink a lot of water so I am not too sure whether the "water weight" will still come off. I am been exercising, eating healthy but can't seem to be getting anywhere with the weight loss. Well people I hate to burst a bubble, but ultimately I have been defeated yet again. I took the pills as instructed; I watched what I ate and exercised at LEAST 30 minutes a day while still trying to maintain my hectic life style. I have to admit in the beginning that some weight came off, but then again I truly believe it was the water weight. I experienced NO clearer skin - but quite the contrary -- I started seriously breaking out! My face has now blemishes that I’d get maybe once or twice in a YEAR and that’s in with starting my period! These came on just after taking the pills!! I too experienced the headaches, and at no point saw my hungers diminish.

I thought that starting the second week would automatically JUMP start my system again and I’d loose the water and what not right away....NOT so much. I feel bloated, and swollen.

I normally drinks TONS of water, figure 2 cases would last me a week! So maintaining the water intake was no task for me...I snacked on yogurt and fruit cups - no chips, no desserts, not tons of crabs, but rather a healthier level of intake....

I'm not entirely upset at the fact that this pill didn’t do it for me - YET AGAIN, but rather fooling myself into thinking that this entire hullabaloo was worth it. There goes 50 some odd dollars and hopes down the drain. I know there is no QUICK fix - I get that, I understand that a diet pill is to work in conjunction with proper food and exercise...but when it doesn’t deliver even AFTER following these guide lines...

Well then that just BLOWS!

To those who've actually experienced ACTUAL weight loss, not water, and not a colon cleansing I congratulate you!
For those still on the program I wish all the luck.

In the future, I most definitely wont be promoting this product...it’s just not worth it.

I did one full week of OD. I am not impressed with the results. I lost 3 pounds, but I attribute that to the diet and exercise program I am on. The OD made me sick to my stomach, nervous to the point that I thought I was going to have a panic attack, and made me poo constantly. I won't be taking it anymore because it just isn't worth it. If I had lost a few more pounds, then I would say that the product aided me in my weight loss. My appetite actually increased--significantly. I wish I hadn't wasted the money on this stuff. In retospect, I knew this wasn't going to work because it sounded too good to be true. Oh well!

I still wish those of you on the pills the best of luck. I hope it works for you. Just make sure that the pills don't make you feel too bad. If they do, stop taking them. I know that they say no pain no gain, but, seriously, why feel like total S*** just to drop an extra pound or two of water weight?

Hello everyone. I'm a little crossed eyed from reading everyone's comments, but a little uneasy that no one else has had the same side effects. I started taking the pills on Monday and I LOVED them!! I'm a major snacker and I didn't feel the need at all!! The second day started off really great too. Then around 2:00 PM I got a little jittery and blamed it on work and being stressed. I had class after work and during class I started shaking like crazy during my speech. Then I got a horrible cramp in my neck. I tried to sit down thinking it would help, but then ended up passed out on the floor a minute later. I went home to take a bubble bath and the whole night my feet and left leg (from the knee down) were NUMB! My legs are a little weird again today and I have a really bad headache that I just can't get rid of. I didn't take any today because I was affraid I'd end up in the hospital!

Please let me know if anyone has had anything similar to this...passing out, or the feeling of passing out, blacking out or being dizzy. I was really scared and am not sure if it is just me this has happened to.

Thanks!!

Greetings Everyone!

I have been reading everything here, and I decided it was time to share my experience too, with Orovo. This is only Day 3 for me, but I will share it all!

The first day, I had a bit of the jitters, but I decided it was a combo of the strong coffee I had that morning and the Orovo, so no biggie there. I felt great all day at work, nice and focused, no side effects, besides of an extra burp here and there.

The second day was great, I noticed my appitite had changed.. I couldn't eat as much. I have been drinking lots more water, so I believe this helped. I have had no problems getting to sleep at night, even waking up in the morning has been eaisier! (I'm NOT a morning person, at all!) I have noticed I have to use the bathroom more often, and that tells me something is working. I have decided to not weigh myself until next Monday (I started this Monday).. just to keep the suspense up!

The third day (today) has been great so far.. no side effects, just the extra trips to the bathroom. I have a lot more energy, expecially when I get home from work. I used to sit on my ass when I got home and just put my feet up, but now I want to go for a bike ride, or do some extra cleaning around the house. (No complaints here!)

I agree that everyone that tries this product will have different effects from one another, only because no one is the same, EVERYONE is different. (That's what makes us special) I really like how everyone is open and positive, AND supportive of one anothers success. Thank you all who post here, you all have made a huge difference for this website.

I will keep everyone posted on day 4..

Well, I exercise about 4 times a week - each time for about 1.5 hours and then as I said before counting my calorie intake per day. Drinking at least 64 oz of water. I have been tired but not interested in snacking or food. I have to force myself to put something in my mouth. Once I start I can eat, but not as much as I used to. I could eat before my Orovo. I am on off week and feel good, I am tired. Maybe because I am doing too much in my life LOL? I am going to start my second bottle on Monday. I have not lost a lot of weight, but I know I lost inches. It feels good when your 6 year old tells you that you look thinner. I believe that this product is not for everybody, just like any other pill on the market. Hope it works for some of us. I am just hoping my stomach can shrink a little with this, so I am not stuffing it so much any more. I think this might accomplish that slower than having a band suregery on your stomach. I have a friend who had that done, she lost a lot of weight but she was going "crazy" with urges to eat. It didn't take the hunger part away from her. She had to have the band adjusted 3 times already. Sorry for sharing and I hope that most of you like this pill.

Day 4 week, one. I was up even eariler this morning, a few mintues before my alarm went off. I was wide awake, and fully rested. I actually sis a bit of cleaning in my bathroom this morning, which is highly unusual. Last night was fine, I got tired earlier than normal, and I had no problem getting to sleep. I ate later than usual last night. I still haven't had any side effects, just going to the bathroom more than usual. smile I have had pletny of support from my boyfriend, which is great. He is still "iffy" about the whole thing, but I think that he's warming up to the fact that I have had no issues taking Orovo. I have noticed that when I tromp down the stairs, there is no "jiggle" on my belly. There used to be a jiggle, you know once I stopped moving, by belly still jiggled. That has my hopes up, because I'm so paraniod that someone will notice my jiggle on my belly.. and think that I have some strange phenonamon going on in that region. I will keep everyone posted on day 5, which happens to be one of my day off durring the week.

Thank you Ms Flipper. I do feel a little better knowing what it was. That does make sense since my mom doesn't react well to B6 either. I didn't even think of that. I am feeling much better now since I've been off them for 2 days now. Still bums me out though, because they really worked for me.

Thanks again.

cdnhottie--thanks for the comments and I feel the same way about the support system, It is good to have it in place when you are trying to lose.

new starter--thanks so much. I actually tried to start a day early--less the pills, with just good meal choices and exercise and almost made it, too. But then I remembered, I promised my teens home made mac and cheese. You know the kind that takes a couple bricks of monteray jack and sharp chedder cheese that has to be cut up into to BITE size pieces before melting. I then add half& half, butter, sour cream and then crushed lays potato chips (really can't eat just one) before baking for a crispy, crunchy topping. I hate it when my mouth convinces my brain that one last fat laden meal is in order.

Anyway--here I am, day one(again)--and I went to my cupboard, and guess what--I have exactly four days left of Orovo. I was waiting for little sis to throw in the towel and hand over her extra bottles, but she is going to try again, too, so I am going to limp into this plan with less than the recommended dosage if I run out. I had black coffee as usual, four glasses of water and will take my pills shortly and then 1/2 hour later I will drink my juiced OJ. I love my old Champion juicer.

That is too freaky about the band surgery. It gave me a whole new perspective on those types of fixes.

KCDC & ms flipper--those are really scary symptoms! I think you are doing the smart thing by not taking the pills, KCDC, and ms flipper--that is interesting about the B-6. I bet that might be it. Now you have me wondering about the B vitamins and how much is too much.

I at one time thought a body only absorbed so much as far as vitamins, and then expelled the rest, but after reading about some guy who died from overdosing on a strict diet of nothing but carrot juice--I have since changed my mind. He even turned a bit orange right before his demise. No--this was not a National Enquirer story. I am going to go google it as I read it several years ago in a newspaper. I am finding it hard to believe, because I know beta carotene or Vitamin A has huge benefits and my own grandfather had to take large doses of it to combat night blindness. This used to scare me so bad when I was a kid and I was out on some fishing trip with him. I would sit in the back seat of that Nomad station wagon watching the sun sink on the horizon, hoping we could make it home before it got dark and my grandpa would lose his sight. Parents and grandparents sometimes lose touch with the fact that most children take things very literally. I still remember the dread in the pit of my stomach when I would hear my grandma yell;

"Albert--put that pole down! It is going to be dark soon and the last thing I want is to be driven home by a blind person!"

Okay everyone, I got up the courage, and took 4 pills this am. (I had already eaten a little before I took them.) That may be the reason that I have had NO symptoms at all. If I do react to the B-6 it will probably take a few days to build it up in my system. It was quite a few years ago that it happened, and I have been very careful taking anything containing B-6 since then.
BioTech Hunter: Back when this happened to me, it was very scary because Guillian-Bare can be life threatening. Your body continues to go numb, until you can't breath. Then comes the ventilator to breath for you! It usually goes away but can take months to years to recover completely.
Since I didn't have that, and it's just the B-6, I don't believe that it is dangerous if it happens again,I'll just have to quit taking the pills. I'll keep you updated with any changes!!

Just want to share an opinion with all of you. So many people talk about having to drink SO much water. The directions say to take 4 pills with at least 12-16oz of water. That's only 1 1/2 to 2 cups! (use a measuring cup, it's not a huge amount) I do not believe the directions mean to drink 12-16oz per pill!
I've seen some people drinking a full glass of water in between each pill, so they can force ALL that water down. frown No wonder they are peeing so much! ha ha
Anyway, to those of you who feel like you are "drowning", you may want to rethink how you interpret the directions found on the bottle. (Maybe I am not interpreting the directions correctly, but I'm not going to force down 4 glasses of water just to take these pills. I think it would make me feel sick. Yuk!)

you are so right ms flipper to much water real fast will make you sick like anything else.
I had a bad reation to the B's and I actually Over Dosed taking them which was a surpise to me since my doctor told me to take the amount I was taking. My tongue was swollen and I broke out in a rash and I started turning red all over and I couldn't breath. What they did for me was give me water to flush them out. They made me drink water, cup after cup of water That was years ago and I haven't taken any until now and I have had no problems with the B's now.

The only problem I have is OD is not working for me like it is with the other people BooHoo!! The first couple of days I felt like I had a lot of energy and now I could go right to sleep after taking them. Oh well. I'm glad that they are working for the people its working for I wish I was one of them. I don't think these are bad some of the ingredients just affect people differently that is why some are getting sick and others aren't because I read what was in the pills and everythhing is all natural and you can buy these over the counter if you want to take a lot of pills at one time to get the same things as OD. I will continue taking them until the pills are gone, I'm going to take them all the way through and not take my days off just to see what happens and I will let others know. Yesterday was suppose to start my day off but I took them anyway's today. We shall see... (:
If you don't hear back from me that means I didn't make it...
Just kidding!!!

Biotch Hunter- I'm usually the worst case scenario person. I'll try almost anything and then the worst thing that can happen will! So I wouldn't worry especially if you have been taking them for a while. My incident happened after only 2 days! So I'd say if you are fine then stay on them if they're working. For me, I'm just going to have to keep up the good eating and exersice. I'm already down 24 lbs, so I'm doing something right! Right?

BTW Biotch Hunter- I love reading what you have to say. You are hilarious!
