Turn Off The Hunger Switch

Summary

The diet book, "Turn Off The Hunger Switch Reset Your Brain to Change Your Weight" is a revolutionary approach to weight-loss that requires no-dieting and no-exercise, but instead focuses on brain chemistry.

Description

The idea behind "Turn Off The Hunger Switch Reset Your Brain to Change Your Weight" is that our problems with weight are because of imbalances in out brain chemistry. The messages in our brain have gotten out of whack.

The beautiful thing about this diet is that it's not an diet at all. Also, no exercise is required.

The book has an easy quiz in four parts that allows you to identify where your brain chemistry is going wrong. You'll be able to pinpoint why other diets have failed for you. Dr. Rivas uses a similar test when someone sees him in person.

The solutions he offers target these specific problems. Supplements, specific nutrients and prescription medication are used. Ultimately, once you track down what you need to change, you'll need to make contact with a doctor who is willing to work with you on this approach to weight-loss. Together, with your doctor, you'll create a program that fits you.

Craving, over-eating, mood swings and other related problems are also cleared-up with this approach, since these are problems are all related to why you're having little success with conventional weight-loss programs.

Dr. Rivas' approach is to get to the heart of the matter, what's going on inside your brain. All the methods of typical diets (like calorie counting, low-carb, low-fat, etc.) can all be put aside. Once you solve the real problems of brain chemistry imbalance, you'll just naturally choose healthier lifestyle and foods, without a struggle.

I started seeing Dr. Rivas in December of 2008. I weighed 224lbs. Now in July of 2009 I weigh 169 lbs. But it is more then just the weight loss. My high blood pressure is back to normal after almost 4 years. I have more energy. It seems like I am always in a good mood.I drink water now. I can walk up stairs and still breath when i get to the top.The only down side for me was it made my face break out very badly. He wrote me a RX for acne medication and problem solved. Oh and its kinda expensive. About a 140 for a months suppy. My mother in law pays double but she is on a diffrent RX then I am. Best decision I ever made considering I spent 3 years trying to lose weight and only went form 260 to 224 and bounced up and down between those for what seems like forever.Every body always wants to know what pills really work ....these are it people.

I used his supplements. I discovered I was an N. They were the best supplements I ever tried for losing weight. I tend to crave salty, crunchy things or sweets when I am upset or stressed. But when I used his supplements, I had no desire to snack, and no cravings for sugar or starchy things. I only took two pills a day and worked out on my treadmill for 30 minutes about 4 times a week. I could not believe how slim I got, how much energy I had; and that my weight was being maintained. Unfortunately I cannot find his supplements anywhere, anymore. If anyone knows where I can buy them, please send me an e-mail. mahoganywood2002@yahoo.com.

One more thing. I am staying slim, but it has been a struggle because I am getting older. I crave the starchy, salty, crunchy; sweet things again when I am stressed or upset. Dr. Rivas supplements helped me control those cravings; that's what I loved most about them, they controlled the cravings. I wish I could buy them somewhere. Someone has to sell them.

I have been reading diethound.com for ages but haven't actually made a post yet. I thought enough is enough, I need to get this out there...

If you or anyone you know has been struggling with weight loss like I used to for many years then you're surely like me in that you're a bit skeptical of any new "hip" diet on the market claiming to be a "miracle weight loss formula". I was very skeptical too when I got a call from my good friend Sara about a months ago telling me that she had dropped 11 pounds in just 5 weeks from a health supplement known as HCG.

I figured that because she is my good friend and I trust her I'd give it a shot. Since that day I haven't looked back. I am so happy since I found HCG. Food systems or exercise programs never kept the weight off but using HCG I put a couple drops in my drink and I am able to resist all the fatty foods I used to uncontrollably put into my body.

I highly recommend anybody who seriously desires lose 10-20+ lbs look into this now.
The hometown news station in my area just posted an article on it. You can read the article online at dietnews12.com.

Don't postpone losing weight any longer. It's YOUR CHOICE if you want to change how you feel!

Sorry moderaters if this is in the wrong section please move it :).
